Title: SEMA 2014
Post by: Flyin6 on November 05, 2014, 07:42:27 PM
Folks, we have one of our own, Dustoff35 out at the SEMA show right now in Las Vegas.
After talking to him, we decided to post up a SEMA thread to show some of the cool stuff that's out there. HE has a booth there where a company he is heavily invested in employs him every year to stand in the booth and meet and greet, and give little classes on their innovative product. But what he really does is walk around and get Chip Foose to sign his air cleaner from his Cobra kit car and stuff like that.

This year he is in the same building/area as the off-road crowd so he is sending streaming data about what he is finding. So far, he has found a Survival truck.com, and some trailer company who makes survival trailers, and others that make survival knick-noids. Bottom line is if I ever figure out to get his 400 pics off my I-phone, I'll start sticking them up here.

QUICK, let's sneak over to his laboratory.....err garage and dirty up the floors and tear down his 360 for him!  Double D (Dolly) must be feeling lonely not being wrenched on!

You don't think he's trying to run a scam to get it done over on "OverHauled" do you?  :o

Please feel free to pull that 360 out, it  save me the trouble!
Now lets see if I can post some pics from my IPhone...

The season finale is being filmed right here at the SEMA Show. Any fans of Foose will surely remember this one...

Titan has a booth with a wide variety of extended range tanks. The truck in their booth has a fuel capacity of 230 gallons! Do the math, that's some serious range!

Lovin it!

Hey, bro, I can't transfer those pics you messaged to my IPhone...tried last aben but was unable. Some weird software disconnect. So, just send pics here as you can, then you can add explanations later on when you get back.

We're cutting the wheel wells and fenders out on your ugly truck to make room for the 44's!  ;-)))))

I see a lot of similarities between Don's builds and those trucks!  Exoskeleton bugger bars, bead locks, TAC Topper and even an extension ladder!

That 360 of yours is a very capable motor- can make it a stroker motor and push the compression and displacement up around 410 cu without much trouble and with the right cam, intake and carb set-up get plenty of torque and a wide power band on the upper end around 6500 rpm.  Raced a dirt car with one using 727 torque-flite in low gear, on 10" dirt tires with a miller locked "posi" on a 1/3 mile track.  Plenty of torque- enough to launch a 4000lb car airborne for couple hundred feet down the straight away...... Ask me how I know- Lol!

This is a well-thought-out and heavy duty trailer. The "dining-fly doubles as a water-catchment funnel.

The trailer is made in clintonville, wi (close to bobby).  A base model is something like 7k, and models with bells and whistles can go up to 20k.  I check out their website and you have to call for pricing, but did some searching and found those numbers.
