That kelderman only cover half the lift right? Not the front included?

I’d say the smaller suv.  You have the bud for hauling. No need to be redundant. As for a diesel get the 3.0 in the Yukon!!

Yes. It’s rear only but it solves any hauling issue he has and gives a smooth ride in addition to upgrades capacity.

Having the Duramax and the Tahoe is great. Tahoe is way better around town and still has room for 5/7 with the rear seat.

With 247k on the Dmax that has been my DD for 16 years, now I can keep the mileage in check some. Still dropping kids off at school and such.

Started soy bean harvest. Didn't last long. Got some tall weed wrapped around the reel and and broke stuff. Then noticed the bubble in the tire. Will be back at it in the morning.

Was up in Sac yesterday while an airshow was going on. Didn't stick around long but saw a P-38 buzzing around as well as a U-2 way up there. Supposed to be a F-22 but never saw it, but sure heard it. Got some far off pics.

Hunting season is fast approaching, looking for one just off the road and slightly uphill. Oh well if it doesn’t happen it it still a nice two weeks in the hills. Got a spot to park the trailer. Right on the river/ lake with 50 amp full hook ups. Tavern/cafe just up the road.

Very scenic! Funny but I don't think of Utah, at least that part of it as having trees. I recall it being more barren and desert-like, but obviously, I am mistaken.

This is one thing I really enjoy about Utah, its wide array of terrain! Seems parts of the north have lots of trees while the southern part has a bit of everything, from desert like to some big lakes, lots of rocks, juniper bushes, trees, just a bit of it all.

I have a fair amount of stick time, low level between Las Vegas and SLC. Not saying the area was used to rehearse any particular scenario, but I have personally sent a few million $$$$ of jet gas out the tailpipes in that big valley west of the highway...

This reminds me of the f16s ripping through the canyon at eye level giving us hikers a little wing tip flip through the glacier peak wilderness when I was in scouts. we didn't truly appreciate it at the time and it would likely kill me now to get there, but 50 mile backpacking trip through this work of HIS hand was life changing.

Sure that counts. You probably need to cut more firewood anyway. Been a tough summer for trees up here also. We have 3-4 that turned brown and will need to come down.
Temps are still in the high 70’s and rifle deer season starts in a week. Should be rain, fog and 50’s. Leaves are still hanging on the trees and brush and the game is up all night eating.

come on down to visit me here in southern OR Bob; dusk is like playing dodgeball with the deer in residential neighborhoods, and 2-3 dozen munch on the golfcourse perimeter and most folks landscaping. bag a turkey or two while you're at it. out in ashland where all the houses are literally built into the hillsides, nearly any home with a yard has bucks bedding down in their hydrangeas.

Finalized the purchase of the MT home this morning. Sign papers Tuesday am since somebody’s are celebrating Columbus Day on Monday and nothing relevant to that is open. Need to pack back of truck tomorrow, lowered topper back on it today after dropping fifth wheel at dealer for warranty work. 4 nights in hotel now after 3 weeks in rv, real shower was nice this evening. Sunday evening we get to spend time with two youngest daughters in Bozeman.

Venting! Took my truck to the shop back on 20 sept he text me on 21 Sept and told me that it was a bad turbo. The turbo got ordered on 22 Sept and it didn't come in 30 sept and told they would start working on taking it off so they could take the core off and turn it in when they picked up the new one. Check on Wednesday and they said that they would start that day. I checked this morning after calling and texting yesterday and was told that it wasn't the turbo but now a gasket and they would have it done this afternoon. He texted me this afternoon and they ordered the wrong intake manifold gasket so now  the truck won't be done  until Monday. I am so over this shop and will never use them again. I don't think that I could trust them to change oil.

Thanks for listening

Intake manifold gasket…
Uh it’s silicone. Grey stuff.

There’s o-rings and silicone on the intake.
No gaskets.

Gaskets on heads, exhaust, some coolant bits.

Surprising few gaskets as a matter of fact.

Sounds like that shop shouldn’t be.
Sorry to hear this.

It comes and goes.  I was big into cigars back in the 90s.  Going to events with Dominican guys rolling from leaves.

Last 10 years has been one every 5 months.  Now i just bought another humidor and assortments.  Averaging one a week or so.

The shop is here in town and the well known good shop that was 30 miles burned down and never rebuilt. I got taken off my weight restriction for shoulder surgery this week, if I knew it would take this long and not knowing what was wrong I would have waited and done it myself this weekend.

Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

No….very very nice!
I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb.  I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.

I don’t think 2 vehicles and trailers technically make it a convoy. However, the wife unit did great for 10 hours with my small single axle trailer behind the explorer. Just shy of 400 miles to go tomorrow.

Then got to hang with my youngest two in Bozeman and are ordering from a Triple D featured place for dinner.

Tate, thought you were up north? Heck your are not to far from me then.

Jumped back into the 90s here, just feels nasty for some reason.

Just North of Medford, about an hour north of Yreka sir.

Heck, I may have to bug you sometime. Plenty of notice though!

Sold the M1101 today. Got over double what I paid and another $100 for a spare tire (now I have 5 left). Kinda sorry to see it go, but it just sits since I have the others.
