I just am beside my self why out leaders think that any of this will help our country.   I understand helping those in need and being the good Sumerian but at what cost to your own safety.   People have been all over social media saying we need to be Christ like.  But the people that Christ helped where not rapping and pillaging the helper and the woman, the people Christ helped where grateful not despiteful.   Am I right in my thinking

You bring up the exact problem all we Christian men have with this. One part of us says to love everyone, therefore let us help them. But then common sense begs the question, why invite trouble?

The bible mentions several times about no associating with those caught up in the carnal things of the world, and avoiding evil.

Matthew 7:6 is fairly clear and gives guidance for dealing with people who have no desire to change, work, or help themselves. It says:

New International Version
"Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.

New Living Translation
"Don't waste what is holy on people who are unholy. Don't throw your pearls to pigs! They will trample the pearls, then turn and attack you.

English Standard Version
“Do not give dogs what is holy, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you.

By my thinking we should not bring these migrants here to the USA. If we could perhaps establish a "Containment area, preferably in a Muslim country to protect them and see to their needs while the situation in Syria is put right. My big Caveat would be that if US tax dollars are to be used, then our evangelists and missionaries should have unrestricted access to them. Perhaps if a large number of them converted, the Muslim/poverty/ignorance trifecta could be broken.

You've touched upon the main problem Don-

Christian Men.........there are few in positions of power in this country anymore- we compromised our standards and because a secular society that accept an increasingly secular value system that becomes more accepting of unacceptable beliefs and low, immoral behavior. 

That is the first group of swine, trampling the pearls of this country, and then POTUS, King of the heard is pushing by executive order to allow the second group of swine in to complete his mission of transforming (destroying) America.
