Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

I built a bench for Ken for when he visits so his fat gf H has something sit on that she won’t break (I hope)……

All jokes aside it’s for fixturing axles to when welding trusses on versus using my welding table.

I couldn’t be left out of the new truck program and this came across my friends GM lot

I’ll pick it up on Thursday since I’m out of town for work all day tomorrow.

Clean paint, really clean interior ( minus all the crap detail junk that covers every part of the interior surfaces) wheels need to go ASAP as they run a little with the level kit.

All else none stock except for a record of all recalls being fixed

For these folks here, thats really hot.  Kuwait in the summer is routinely 140ish with about 90% humidity.  Iraq is routinely 100-120 during summer.

Found nothing wrong with the DMax cept a loose tierod brace. Rotors and pads are fine. Torn outer CV boot, but CV solid.

Rotated front tires, lubed good is all. Thinking the axle disconnect is rubbing in turns.

Don, you already had all those. Plus thats a 97, you had a 95. did you trade in with the DEF leak or something?
Traded in the 95 on the 97. Traded in the rock grapple on this new severe duty grapple.
Prices are absolutely crazy. I actually got so much on trade, the delta between my very used one and this new one wasn't that much. Then on top of all that, Kubota hasn't raised the prices all that much, and finally, Kubota was offering $3500 to any SVL95 owner to trade up to a new SVL-97.

Reason is, the 95 had a first generation DEF system which is costing Kubota a lot to constantly fix. The 97 has a new DEF system that is well sorted out and fixes all those issues.

I like it because it:
1. Is new
2. Warranty starts all over
3. Fresh paint
4. With no scratches
5. or dents
6. or dings
7. The tracks are not all boggered up
8. And the tracks are new
9. Fixes my problem with lookin' at old boggered up tracks
and
10. The tracks are new
The new machine comes with a built in, not an added on rear view camera system
and it now has tele-metrics. I upload an app to my phone, and the machine now talks to my phone telling me everything about its health. It does not report dust, so I'll have to watch that closely!
Finally, my 95's paint was fading already, but the roof was actually installed on my barn yesterday, so every moment of this thing's stored life will be under roof and out of the sun. Same with the Kioti tractor. I should be able to keep the newer machines in great shape until I pull pitch from my last LZ on my last flight.

Really like those new tracks!

Getting ready to replace the propane furnace/AC unit in the guest house with a heat pump.  Got a quote for 8500 for a 2.5 ton unit installed. I can buy a 3 ton unit for about $4000 all in, just need to decide whether it’s worth my time to do it.  But hey, if I do this project I get some new tools, right?

I spent the last two hours of my day hold my brakes and trying not to sneeze.

The dash was sitting at a 25 degree angle and it took two full-size wreckers to pull me sideways

I was creeping off the shoulder to get out of traffic to open the gate, the super single caught the edge of asphalt and pulled me right off the shoulder,   Tags were up as I was going off highway.   The whole truck teetered if I moved, the company owner pushed up on my driver mirror a little bit and it didn’t take much, I had about 20ton in the bed and was headed to our dump site.

Two hours of don’t let off the brake, don’t turn truck off as the tow company guy said cranking it over would possibly tip it. And don’t move inside the cab.   They wouldn’t let me out.   Whole lot of chew and camels consumed today.  Time for some whiskey now!!
