Pistol question
« on: December 19, 2023, 10:18:41 AM »
With my grand kids getting older, I have always entertained the idea of buying like 5 pistols or rifles with consecutive serial numbers. I don't want to spend the money on custom-made that I would have a better chance of getting. Has anyone done this before or have any suggestions on how or if this is possible?

Thanks
Steve

Check with your LGS to see if they can get them.  I have heard of it once for 3 in a row.

I think Matt is probably right. I know when I was after a special Ruger #1 I worked with Jason at Lipsey and a gun store manager/owner to have one sent out. Maybe contact a distributor and see what route would work best. Biggest problem is trying to get from the recording Bot to a desk to talk to someone.

Yes, I have seen this done. A good friend of mine either bought three or five consecutive serial number Springfield 1911s. One for his son and one for each of his daughter's future husbands. So two gone one to go yet. He did it through Buds Gun store in Lexington, which you can order from.
