Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

Come on down Tate. I’d suggest winter though, heat index above 105 yesterday. Most days you’d be bored silly, but some are a lot of fun.

Avg. kitchen temp is around 104 on a normal day, probably wouldn't bother me too much. The only thing I don't envy you for is all the naked dudes you guys have to deal with. Just imagine if you were in Florida... (shudder)

I’m convinced that our dispatchers are instructing people to get naked as soon as they turn our trucks out. There’s no way there’s that many people that just stay naked all the time. There’s also a direct correlation between weight and the likelihood of said nakedness. It’s science.

I helped my oldest budget boost her Jeep this morning. Currently building a steel rack to hold various axle assembly’s. Then working on back yard later today again. Irrigation lines today....

Had a pretty good week at the new job. Leaving at 5:30 am and not getting home until 7 is an adjustment but no big deal. Last load yesterday my tub would not dump. Brought the truck back to our shop. Today we are going to bypass the safety valve. I hope that is the problem.

Why did it take security so long to get there? I though Disneyland was one of the safest places to go.

I will say knowing their system there that is about as far as you can get from the offices. Yep it seemed long but really just a few minutes.

I bypassed the tarp safety switch. It's just solenoid that's shuts off the flow of oil when the tarp is closed. So you can't dump. That was not the problem. So I took the main valve off and tested it with compressed air. It didn't work very well. Acted sticky. Called the dealer they don't have parts. Only option was to wait until Monday and go to the factory.
With nothing else to lose we took the valve apart to see how it worked. When I put it back together it went together easier than it came apart. Tested with compressed air again and it seemed to work. I installed it back on the trailer and now it works perfectly
I literally did nothing but take it all apart and put it back together. I have no idea why it works now but didn't before. Must have had a piece of something in it making it stick.

Fruits of today's labor. 3 more salvage campers. Got my brother to help today. A Ford a Dodge and A Chevy. Made out pretty good on accessories again. Scored an old Minn Kota trolling motor. Nothing fancy but it works. Bunch of floaties, real nice cast iron anchor for my little boat, propane tanks, shade tent and a real nice outdoor rug.
Plus we will have axles and air conditioners to sell when we get tearing them apart. The fridges might work but they are pretty skanky.

And here I thought only people in the southeast were ever “fixing” to do anything. We’re usually fixin or fitin to do it, but I think fixing is close enough to count.

Tried out the brush cutter attachment on the mini.  It worked ok I guess...definitely helped with the mosquito problem..not used to seeing so many insects.  I guess it goes with having green stuff everywhere.

Pulled rear seat from X today to load up camping gear I had stored at shop over winter. Heading to higher altitudes this weekend to beat the heat a little. Amazing the amount of storage, truck is really growing on me. I did pick up a 4.30 gear 80 dually axle this morning cheap and complete. Who thinks I should dually this X like the old burbs?

I don’t think the wife watches those type of shows. We don’t subscribe to the cable channels so we don’t get the option.  Unless she is watching them on her phone
