Got a solid roof for it and this pigtail for doing the TPS. Getting some allen head bolts for the intake, can't get a socket on the stocks. Will seal it up with high temp gasket silicon too, stock O rings seem to be a HUGH issue on these.

Found gas in Sparks that sells alcohol free gas, that is what it will get from now on. Will bring it down for equip use at home too.

Nope, just a regular station. Diesel is .50 less than here at the low stations. Alcohol free gas is about the same as here.

Got the reg all taken care of (needed notarizing and such) but in hand for NV.

It is driving me nuts though. New TPS, removed the TB to clean and adjust. Replaced the TBAP harness but that is showing codes now.

Runs just the same. Starts and idles but just pops and surges with throttle. Thinking it is a TPS signal wire at the ECM.

Which codes (numbers) are you getting now? Did you test fuel pressure? The reason I ask is because I went through much of the same stuff with my 700xp. I replaced sensors, chased and tested wiring for weeks before I broke down and had someone test fuel pressure because it didn’t make any sense to me how the symptoms I had could be related to low fuel pressure. But, they were.

I checked it, was a solid 39, right in spec.

I was getting a 22 code (TPS) so replaced the with a Polaris unit (pricey).

Just replaced the TBAP harness, now that throws a code (41-44), so I figure I wired it wrong. Have o double check but I think the new plugs pins looked funny.

May just do the pump anyway and replace the internal filter with hard line. Seems that filter gets plugged and it is a non service item.

That’s what I read about the internal filter but at 39 psi I’d just be tempted to leave it. That’s perfect. Was the butterfly valve in the throttle body clean and completely closed when you set the voltage on the tps?

Pulled the TB, cleaned it (was not bad) and set the tps with it out, then double checked after I reinstalled. .528 base, .661 at idle and 3.58 WOT which should be 3.6 but darn close.

I have power/ground to the TPS as I check it with a harness installed. All I can think is the signal wire is broken to the ECM?

Funny thing is it ran great when I got it here. Parked it, then boom, this started. The Ranger is clean as heck for an 11 year old SxS.
