Pride Fowler Industries Riflescopes
« on: December 15, 2015, 06:23:50 PM »
Don asked me to throw a post on here to introduce our optics to the group.  At Pride Fowler Industries, we build optics to enhance the performance of the weapon system by giving data to the shooter necessary to precision impacts for the full range of the weapon and ammunition.  All of our optics feature a patented ballistic reticle in a first focal plane design for particular types of weapons and ammunition.  When paired properly with the specified type of ammunition and weapon, the optic are designed to give the shooter a range, ballistic holdover, and a wind hold which significantly reduces the engagement time and increases precision.  Each optic has different attributes that we found necessary to build the ultimate optic for that platform.  For example, our 762C Adaptive Combat Reticle found in the US Optics SR8 body, has data for M118LR (175gr) out of a 16" weapon system (MK17) for 0 to 3,000 ft elevation on the right side and for above 3,000 ft elevation on the left side.  The left side data will also accommodate M80 ball out of the 16 gun or a 20" barrel change under 3,000 ft elevation.  These features give operator an increase in combat effectiveness in the ever changing combat environment.

You can find innovative features as such in all of our scopes.  Other examples are both subsonic and supersonic data in our RR-Evolution-22LR for the .22LR and RR-Evolution-BLK for .300BLK and 7.62x39.  The RR-Evolution-5.56/7.62 which Don will be getting for his Sig 716 has data for 5.56x45 to 600 yards and for 7.62x51 (.308Win) data to 900 yards with accommodations for elevation change and different barrel lengths.

We design optics with the warfighter in mind to give them an advantage on the field, but also to give people in all worlds to enjoy greater performance out of their weapons systems by making long range precision shooting easier.  We want people not to enjoy shooting not at the typical 100 yard distance, but to become proficient shooters at distances to 600, 800, 1,000 yards and beyond.  We believe that this makes for an more effective fighting force for our country.

Thank you for taking the time.  Check out our website at www.RapidReticle.com and our videos on youtube.com like this one!

Happy shooting!

Sincerely,

Rich

Shawn,
I will!
Suggested to Rich when I met him over the phone today that when I get the scope, I'd mount it and review it and work it out on the limited distances I'll have to work with for awhile.

We were chatting about getting an optics discussion going, well, with a real scope builder on here now, lets do just that.

Welcome Rich, glad you've been found.
Looking forward to this.

Thank you!  I hope that I can contribute to the community here.  I like what you guys are all about, and if I can help, I certainly will.  Shooting is a passion for all of us at PFI, so we like to be involved.  I think Don got an earful from me the other day...lol.

Yes you did!

But it was pure education!

I very much look forward to mounting that scope on the Sig and start to work it out. I think the community here will benefit from the information and discussion generated. Especially considering on one end of the discussion we have the actual guys who build the hardware, and on the other, actual real world shooters.

Yes, this is going to be productive!

Well whenever you get the one you ordered, there's an Optics Thread already waiting for substance.

So I PM Rich and asked a question, got a fast response. So props for that. Plus gave me contact info to get further information.

But then replied to my email at 0320.. Does that dude sleep at all?

Rich thanks for replying again at 0412. Even though I threw a slight curve ball in the initial PM.
