Hum...What would Don do..Stay away from that and all should be good.
Well, not so quick there Tonto!

I'd take a run at it with the rubber track loader and it would move as far as I wanted!

But that contraption Tex is talkin' about sounds like it would work, but we'd need a vid just in case it didn't! ;-))

Now that is what I am talking about. Two rubber tracks laying in the woods and Don scratching his head wondering what went wrong.

I sure would like to see the action, don't think one truck will move it unless it is tied to a tree with a wrecker between the truck and the load. BUT I am from Washington so just need to see it on video to believe it.

and why cant your tractor not push it back the foot or 2 that you need?

if you place the bucket on the bottom frame portion of the container you should be good?  just go slow and don't ram anything?

if all else fails, give boone a call and see if he can come down with something?

Getting to close to what Don would do....

I think it would work, even if you had to set up a double pull with wire rope. Protect the tree bark too unless it is history after the move.
Added: Call in a friend with a good sized winch on their truck. Rig it up and be done.

Charles, you need your own page. "Texas Resort Retreat" would be a lot better page name than having it posted inside the hide site page.

Tate, just brushed on butter, lemon juice, and  pepper. Kept the temp down and let it fester long enough to get the corn finished. Of all the salmon, I really like the sockeye.

Bob I not only follow the law I respect my neighbors. We are in the country and it?s entirely legal. And we were done by 10pm.

But just in case there were stray dogs or other nefarious creatures I was carrying my G23 and an extra mag.

Armed neighbors are polite neighbors.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't even know what nefarious means but here those fireworks were not legal and it was well past midnight, and our little dog was not doing all that well, and I was still all done with them.  I just might have been carrying also, not that it would have mattered. Polite neighbors would have been done before midnight.

So, Bob, you're just that old groucher neighbor? :)

Well, no not really, just thought it was time to come to an end. Not saying I am not grouchy, just really tired of the noise.

So, I fired off the grill to around 300* and let the corn and salmon do it's thing. Hot this afternoon so didn't get too carried away.

Was that you at 1:30AM behind our place. I was close to walking over and making you a deal " if you stopped now I wouldn't call the law." A few years ago I would have just tried to stop you myself but time has made me both smarter and less able.

I just bought a 50 amp 25ft extension cord for the trailer and there was nothin cheap about it. But never bought a welding cord so don't know. If needed I would just buy enough wire to install another plug so you didn't need to be changing back and forth.

1121
Maybe you need to raise the sights a bit and look elsewhere for a new rig. :beercheers:

Nice to have a larger compressor in the fall when it is time to blow out sprinkler lines. I have a 220 unit but our friends only have a smaller 120 model. Takes most of the day to blow their lines out. They have 2.5 acres and water most of it so lots of line to blow out.

Well, you can for sure upgrade but it will cost you. Most likely cheaper than if you rebuilt this on though.

Dave, really think hard about that OK. Where can you be after you finish school compared to where you will be if you don't. Not saying construction doesn't have good opportunities but a degree can really open some doors for you. You already have a bunch of time invested to just kick it to the curb.

Yup for sure...I will take at least two and more likely four. How much for shipping and a small amount for you to put into the box on Sunday.

Used to have the flatbed truck show up with outdoor furniture stacked to the hilt looking for a sale. These are by far way above those things.

You're on the coast, towards Tate, Bob? Or Spokane side? I don't remember
We might be getting a 45 acre chunk of forest here shortly, in the panhandle. Might have to sell the shop to pay for the house build tho. lol
...Beautiful country.

Yes we are on the West side of the Cascades. You would be in the more sunny area but colder in the winter. Are you looking at lake waterfront or back a ways? Not that it matters, it is a very nice area. If you sold the shop, would you be moving full time out this way? We lived in Moses Lake for a few years, dryer than here but colder and hotter also. We are west of Seattle across the Puget Sound.

ADDED:If you do sell the shop and move this way, you have my business after warranty

Dave, this is kind of late request isn't it? You should have an idea if the contractor is supplying a good product at a reasonable price. This isn't really a good time to start arm wrestling about price or what is being installed is it?

Don, I am not a trailer builder, but what size axles are under it and the max tongue weight for your hitch? You could very well be road legal depending on how you load it and how much weight you can leave at the farm like attachments and tools. Might want to change the spring paks at some point depending on what you have now. Or move it when the weight police are having coffee and doughnuts and not change anything.

Dave, that home is coming along very nicely. Is the home being built by your boss's company? Glad you are able to inspect the work daily and get the mistakes taken care of. What if anything has been done  with the cracks in the floors? Do you think those cracks are only the depth of the extra cream the flatwork guy left, or clear through the slab. Sounds like either way you have a plan to fill with epoxy if deep before the finish goes on. Sure looks nice......
