This is good. I've seen it before and it demonstrates consistency on Trump's part. He doesn't recreate himself to suit a part. I like him. Plus anything is better than the Clintons back in the WH.

I like the fact that BOTH parties establishment power brokers are bad mouthing him.......because they're scared that their house of cards might come down!  I love the possibility that some of our elected thieves, liars and cheats might have to start looking over their shoulders and seeking legal advice about some of their "business as usual"!

I also hope all the loudmouths saying they'll leave the US if he's elected could very well need to put up or shut-up!

I'll go on record saying I'm not a Trump fan (Trumpkin).  I'm concerned that his history of liberal positions has been pushed aside out of convenience so that he may prey on the anger of the poorly educated.  He is the carnival barker and emotional manipulator par excellence.  Like all politicians i've ever met he is a narcissist.  He will say and do what ever it takes to win, but unlike others he will not make backroom deals with donors to get it done.

There are a rare few politicians that are committed to an ideal.  Obmama is one.  Sanders is another. Those two are as dangerous to our country and any foreign enemy because they are ideological radicals.

You've seen him start to pivot in his Super Tuesday speech.  He is capable of pivoting and will ulitimately pivot to being just another big business republican who would piss on the constitution when convenient. He would make a great pro business president but at the expense of our founding principles.

Cruz on the other hand, campaigned on going to Washington to battle the establishment and he has called them out and fought them at every turn.  He is principled, or perhaps an ideologue, for the constitution. What he says is exactly what he will do.

Now all that being said, if it's Donald as the nominee,  i will pull the lever and hope for the best.

Honestly, the Christie Trump alignment bothers me.

I can't figure out why Donald would even want his endorsement... Christies unfavorable a are insanely high, and there's huge support for his recall as governor of NJ

RN, I'm starting to feel a bit skeptical of Cruz... His wife is a MP at Goldman for cryin out loud, and they met as Bush staffers. He said he liquidated his retirement to fund his senate campaign, but that was a lie... He just leveraged against it, with a loan from, wait for it, Goldman. I don't see him as the grass roots conservative savior that he plays himself to be...

^^^^^ exactly spot on, don't matter who you decide to pull lever for it is all a distraction. I think I stated this on here before but I've been claiming Hillary will be next dictator for last 6 months at least. Another couple tid bits for your consumption. Trump met with the clintons before throwing his hat in the race. Along with the fact at trumps third wedding b&h sat in the front row where trumps parents normally would have sat except they were deceased. So again my money is on "we're screwed" & I refuse to waste my time buying into any of these "choices". I feel our time is limited & will spend it doing more productive things such as spending quality time with my girls.

Well, lets all just go for Sanders then.

Yep, its a crap shoot but I would take Trump over hillary or sanders anytime, but would rather see a Cruz-Carson ticket.

I agree, let's get Sanders in there. The avowed socialist & we know they (from history) like to rule with an iron fist from the end of a gun barrel so why not? At least we know where he stands whether we agree or not.

I did like Carson, I thought he was very genuine. Just never thought he'd get too far as he was too good for politics.

Kyle, its tough to get the same perspective on a candidate that you do when you live in their home state.  Fact remains that he put at risk everything he had on his senate campaign.  That's commitment.  I've not personally met him but without going into too much detail, I know people that have run his campaign and been a part of the Bush administration.  Of all those on the stage, he's the one with commitment to principle.  Principle that align with conservative values

Watching last nights debate... I personally see voting as a responsibility to my loved ones, and my country and my neighbor. I saw enough last night, I won't vote for Trump....nominee or not.

Ouch!

I take it other conservatives might do the same.

I've run in high ranking military officer circles. The successful ones who had the respect of their troops were in a lot of ways similar to trump. Brash, unafraid, not always right, but hootin-tootin no doubt about who the Sherriff was either!

I hope those voting give conservatives some chance and vote for the republican nominee as opposed to leveraging the vote a bit for the opposition.

Let me explain... I had no intention of watching last nights debate actually. I am long bored with the antics of these candidates, and see no real point in watching. We were invited out to a local sports bar by our oldest son and his wife for Wings and some billiards. The place was packed, and the debate was on all the TV's by the time we started on our food.

Donald managed to get public boo's, and in a few cases more expletives from the bars patrons. My youngest son commented that he thought if Donald was in the sports bar right now he'd be hard pressed to act the way he does around actual hard working adults with principles. The way he handled the Trump University question can be summed up in a simple way.... he was attacked, possibly with valid  facts (not my place to say) but his response was to attack someone else. A common theme with him when he's put in a position of responsibility is to duck the issue and mount an attack on someone else, in most cases very immaturely.

I would not hire him to work for me because he's not able to take responsibility...So if he can't be a farm hand due to his character..he isn't getting my vote.  Judging from the many other men and women in that establishment last night of all ages...I was not the only one that fired Trump with no remorse.
