Ken, bend a couple coat hangers, handle with a 90* bend and a foot or so straight wire. Hold them straight out in front of you and depending on how you hold them they will either cross or turn away from each other following the path of the pipe. Set a steel bar or water pipe on the ground and give it a try before you discount it as witchcraft. I have found culvert pipes under the road, water lines, phone cables, tools lost in the grass and even a small gold nugget and dowsed two water wells. I am not into ghost hunting and other dark side stuff so can not and will not speak to those practices. Don't know how or why they work but they sure do.

Bob, love you dearly as well so please take no offense. I am not a ghost hunter nor do I watch that crap but have lived in a 100+ year old farmhouse that had "issues"  on several occasions early on it had me awake and armed with my G22 in the wee hours walking the perimeter of the home. After 7 years nothing surprised me or my dog who I'm pretty sure could actually see stuff. My wife and kids saw stuff, I only heard odd things. I guess I did see our chandelier over the stairs get blacked out as if someone was upstairs walking a couple of times. I was told NO very sternly several times, heard children outside my bathroom window giggling and playing at 5 am and heavy sighs now and again over my shoulder which I thought at the time were the golden only to find she was put up in her kennel in our laundry room with the door latched...….

No issues since we sold that place and moved to hippy land, just straight up bat chit crazy people here!

Sprayed a much better color today, a light gray and some VanDyke glaze to make it look oldish

Our excavation company is getting bad A$& desks for the new office I framed months ago.   It’s cool being able to bounce from framing, finish trim, I accruals painted the shop to ( I owed for diggin my house hole) and now doing the furniture in the place.

A little disappointed they didn't come in a tool box like in the picture but I have one I'm not using. I don't think they will all fit. Might have to do something different.

I consider any tool set a good deal when its under $1 a piece. I need to do some upgrades on my sockets, can't even read the old ones now the etching would be nice.

Baylee helped me pull wire in the shop, a second set of hands is very helpful.

She also informed me that her school WiFi has now blocked RMTWS forum. You all must be popular at Erie High! Or she needs to be doing more studying!

The tj tires and wheels showed up, we dropped them off at DT.

It’s a spec home for the construction company, it’s a kinda goofy kitchen layout but the cabinets sure make it look good.   Thanks folks. I’ll take to confidence boost

interesting concept, good colors, and interesting layout.

there is a cabinet in that display that would cause me to not think twice about not buying the house that that kitchen would be in.

Now that’s pretty cool, a hidden walk-in pantry. What would be extra cool would be if you opened the doors and there was a set of regular pantry cabinet shelves, which you could then swing out for access to the hidden room.

Your talking about a Murphy door type system.   Those are pretty cool, require a large amount of space to swing a set of cabinets out of the way :(

very interesting….the picture is misleading at first and second glance, but once you said it was a door/room it became evident.  ill take back my previous comment.  depending on how it was laid out in a house, that could be a very attractive incentive/option.

It warmed up enough to want to relax at the cabin.
Back to extreme cold warnings again.

Have a Diesel burning stove running now in addition to the wood stove.
It’s nice to not have to stoke the wood stove overnight.
Not sure on BTU’s of the unit but so far I like it.

End goal is to leave it on low to keep frost out during week and turn up or supplement with wood on weekends.
I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb.  I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.
