Snow today...

Now don't get me wrong, this doesn't bother me at all.
I've lived North of 56 for about fifteen years now and my only reaction is "well it's only May". It is however you g to mess up my and of getting the dock moved back to the cabin.
The snow started at some point yesterday and continued while I drove home into the wee hours.



One stretch around midnight.



And how it looked at 0700 today.



Now the weatherman said up to 8" by end of today...is that on top of the 8 we have?

sad thing is, that is what I grew up with in NW WISCONSIN and I really want to go back to it?  I really like the cold and hate the hot weather.

Oh boy!  I'm planning on moving someplace not too hot and not too cold for very long, and if snow shows up, IT LEAVES fairly quickly- no more three month stretches of below freezing!

Ahh, reminds me of my stints in Minn. No school weeks, couldn't leave the house or even see outside.

That really doesn't look all that bad there. No more than trips to Reno/Tahoe. Sure it gets worse.

Man, we went from some of the mildest may temps that I have ever seen, some days with a high in the 70's, to 104 today. Darn near made me dizzy, puttin' an a/c unit on my new rv.
