Your requirements must be diff. than ours. I think we just need a sink and fridge. A portable potty is still easier than sink though!

That looks good, really good. Now just the inside!
As much as I use Lowes, HD seems to have more of what I need right now.

May as well add the tranny or just the converter too.

Tried all the crap, never helped. Going to do PT on the right knee next week, got better, now bad again.

Yep, a strafing run,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Since you never had any issues with it, you might be good. Biggest issue I read is the with the intake side will let the pump and rail run dry, then the CP4 goes.
You have had a lift pump and better pickup from the start more or less. Plus you run a lubricity additive which it the CP4 likes.
If you do the pump, I would just go with a CP3 since it is supposed to be a better pump.

My arches are screwed, the whole foot hurts when I walk for awhile. Told I have bad circulation too.

I have a couple smaller that are the same thing. Not sure if I trust it in a vehicle with all the bouncing around, but under a desk/cabinet, sure.

That looks good and I like the uneven break on the bottom.
Those shoes looks nice Dave. I got some other shoes from them but my feet are giving me issues, may have to go custom.

As fancy as that thing is you don’t have a pressure adjustment on the aux hydraulics?
Thinking the same. Can you limit the flow with the claws on.

That is some good stone for making things, even better it is free on site!
Heck, my coon was around 20lb and took a few pellets to kill. I hate how they tear up the yard and they are known for carrying rabbies.
Sounds like the kabota has a happy owner. Fix the JD and sell it.

I hear you, done it both ways. Yes a manlift is SO much better. If I only had 1 though, I would chose a forklift.
& I a skidloader.....
Yep, those 2 are a must.

Thinking to just paint the steps with a good traffic paint and do the kicks in white to match the wall.

You have a fork lift and a scaffold, you are silver there! Gold would be the manlift.

Got to see both of them. Reba here in Ca and Brooks/Dunn up in Reno, both were great!
Now that is easy, Vegas. Did you do the roller coaster in NYNY? The look on my wifes face was priceless.
Is the water still down at the dam? We went through Laughlin on the way home. Had a Notar land not 20' away as we ate dinner at a hotel. I went fishing while my wife played (caught a couple) and a beaver walked right out of the reeds up to me.
There is a small air museum on the way to the canyon if you are going that way.

Why not just get a 12k for the front and double line if needed? And if weight is an issue, just go synthetic line? You could be at the same weight then with a 12k.
Shawn, this things need under armor. Even just a plate from the trans to the tcase would be a huge improvement.

No transitions like that, but I do have bullnose on all my stuff since I moved in.
Stain came out good, just a little darker than I thought. Blue tape bled a little more than I like and pulled off paint to boot.
No worry about the seam on top, rail will cover that.
Maybe grey steps, black/white would show everything!

Put the 9k in the back. Does a 16k really weigh that much more, 100#?
I understand the skids and front end, got to protect stuff. What about the alum drive shaft? Just a little skuff and its gone!

Upstairs will be a grey, nice transition. That is another concern with carpet, the transition.

You already have the bumpers, upgrading winches adds little weight if any.
Roof rack, a hundred or so until you load it up Don style,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Sure glade I have the LBZ, but I understand wanting the pump and ally upgrade.

Stain it all, just the steps, black steps, honey oak trim for the side? (figure black iron rail)

First, thanks for the feedback. I know what you mean about adding onto old, what a pain!
I used the lightweight on my build, 15 sheets and still had to piece the closet a little. Did seem a little pricey, but worked OK for my skills.
I am very happy with my roxul insulation. Sure it cost more but was super easy to put in, no stapling and no itching! I am thinking of using for the rest of the garage roof. It really gets hot here and the little extra spent there would be easy to justify. It is wrapped with good ventilation so far from air tight.

So this evening I finished the mudding. Maybe a touchup after some sanding but I will hot coat that.
I also finished prepping the stairs for stain, but not sure now. I got the carpet to do the stairs and lowes even gave me a bunch of nice padding for it.
Idea is to stain the siding on the stairway in a golden oak, then I will make railing from iron. Bad part is every time I look at the stairs I think they might look better stained, but not sure if that looks right with the siding stained. Plus they are just ply so not the most robust wood if I did.
Other than that it is the home stretch now. Bed and frame ordered, need the wood for the HVAC box top, shades and baseboards. Flooring is a grey, wall semi white, baseboards gloss white and shades grey. Mirror closet door with no closet door trim. Just a 2/6 flat panel doorway, Haven't decided on the hvac cover finish either.

A 1/2 ton 5.3 would be fine for around town/highway. But the 10mpg 6.2/8.1 is not great.

I hear you Shawn, but you get hooked on the power and the mileage easily. As long as they run good, no issues. (knock on wood)
That pump is what I will have into the cummins I have once running.

Hopefully your lift pump will add a little life the CP. That is another reason I did mine.
Mine is my DD also, right now a kid taxi and I get to use it a little.
$2k for a kit sounds great but I don't see the need to pull the cab. I don't think it is timed, just a pump and comes off straight up.

Jarod, sure you are savvy to save data but I always load pictures at home on my wifi. My daughter kills my data since her freinds are on diff carriers.
I would not be surprised at all seeing what some will do. Heck I am sure I have done a couple things not right in my room addition, but nothing I'm ashamed of!
I understand using PVA primer does almost the same as a vapor barrier. true?
I can see now why people pay for mudding rooms. I am a week into mine, just the skim om the closet to go.

Maybe there is a similar monitoring service that isn't $500 a month?
Is it possible to get sponsors that pay per link? No $$ up front from them, but when a sale is linked to RMTW with maybe a sale? Few pennies here and there will add up quick!

They have some cool stuff, bookmarked for sure. (maybe another potential link add here?)
For just winch plates I found summit has some killer stuff too. I got my plate from them for mine and they were 1/2 the price of HF.

I sure like it here. Solid bunch of guys and a few gals mixed in. Maybe a sponscer or 2 would offset that bill somewhat?
I hear black rifle coffee is expanding bigtime, might be worth a shot. Maybe Randys as we all use that too regardless of Tates input.
Well, I will donate my pay for sure,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I can run the lines separate, so there are options. I ran AC right up to where the unit will mount and will run the drain out there too.
As I posted earlier, I have a vent line there from the w/d and the wall will have a 3'' from the new rooms wall to the stairway wall which works out great, like a ''wet wall''.
Orange wire is the dryer 220 and you can see my temp rail. 2x2 redwood with teak oil.

« on: March 18, 2018, 01:25:59 AM »
Looking at it I think you will need at least a 2'' hole. The lines have foam and wrapped with the vinyl there is not alot of play.
You could run them and with the fitting removed and reflare the lines, Let mine sealed.
Little more skimming to do and light sanding, then paint. I am ready!!
