Congratulations to all, outstanding for both young men. One thing that I experienced when our nephew went through his Marine boot camp. His mother found a website/schedule that said what the class would be doing that day. This enabled us to pray for them and that task. I would be up to praying for them each day of their training if you could keep us in the loop

The weather guy is calling for 1/4" of ice tomorrow night. Would rather have a foot of snow in place of ice

Day 5, especially in prayer this week for Damien, the criminal preliminary hearing, starts this Thursday for the owner of the company that he worked for when he was hurt. It's hard for him to re-live the explosion and afterward.

I would encourage that effort. Two of my most treasured family works are my grandmother's diary when she was younger she made daily entries and as time went on she moved to weekly/monthly and writen in her hand from when she was 8-she became unable to write due to alzheimer. My mom took those diaries copied and bound them into a book. My grandfather has a published book on the meaning of the cross and the significance of the Lord's supper. Any thing writen by a loved one has a special place in one's heart

I haven't enjoyed 2023, but I can say the Lord has been with us. April, He was with our son and gave him protection during his work explosion. He didn't come out unhurt, but he was alive and healing still. But most of all, because of that accident, our son has turned back to following God. Our youngest grandson in Nov accepted Christ as his Lord and savior. There are many other things that we have been blessed withbut those are the main ones I'm so very thankful for.

Merry Christmas. May your day be filled with love and joy, and you be surrounded by loved ones. May the joyous memories of those that are no longer here fill and your heart. I pray that Christ will guide and protect you in the coming year

With my grand kids getting older, I have always entertained the idea of buying like 5 pistols or rifles with consecutive serial numbers. I don't want to spend the money on custom-made that I would have a better chance of getting. Has anyone done this before or have any suggestions on how or if this is possible?
Thanks Steve

Went to the governor house for the annual Gold Star family Christmas tree lighting and dinner. Was outstanding as always. The governor even invited Krysten to run the OKC marathon with him again. The number of Gold Star families that attend has been going down each year, not sure how much longer the state will keep doing it.

Good looking family! And I love that your son is honored in the Govenors estate! The spirit of our warriors lives on...
Thanks, Boss This year brought a new world to the governor and his wife. Their oldest has joined the National Guard and is deployed to Africa. Whole another world when your child is at the tip of the spear. Sent from my SM-S918U using Tapatalk

I switch between 2 main versions, the NIV and the CSB. I have found a useful app if you want to dig into the word some called Bible Study. Gives you the word in english, Hebrew and Greek , definition and where it is used throughout the bible. The icon is a purple square with white letters Bible Study across the square.

I have done a few of those reading plans, but I'm not sure those have had me read every verse. The last one I did was to read it in 260 days, and I know it didn't cover every verse. I will say I haven't read it all

Sign up for Part B as soon as you are eligible. It gets more expensive every year you wait to enroll.

Been get quotes for a 30x50x14 shop with a 25 ' gable extension. Should have done this years ago when stuff was cheaper. Oh well, you can't take it with you. Along with that, the wife wants new floors and a new master bath. Let us not forget the new Yukon she wants also.

I’m sorry & unfortunately can relate. My better half after evacuating Vista Adventist Hospital during the Marshall Fire ended up with PTSD from the event. Everything from thunder cracking to smoke and fire was a trigger. Her’s is considerably better now, I pray his does the same.

The wife turned 65 yesterday, and I will do the same in 2 years. Currently, we have Blue Cross and Blue Shield from my work and tricare, and she has Medicare. Does anyone know anything about Medicare and how it works with tricare or a good source to talk to? The government, I think, makes this stuff hard to understand just so they can give you the shaft.
