Yea, that's what they told me in the Armee...the bad guys bullets miss but ours don't...the way they're loaded and all. When I saw Mr. T and the A-team get into those well documented fire fights and never get hit, well, I knew it was true!

I guess you can take that windshield off now, since it appears that someone stuck a building on your fuel tank. :)

That tank bag could be setup as a bug out bag
Follow me on this
Triumph did their homework on this thing
There is a harness that is made for the bike that is attached to the tank, then has four attachment points. The bag simply snaps to these points. In maybe 5 seconds one could (I did) detach the bag, and know what else? It has a shoulder strap, so grab the weapon, sling it and go
Ordered a sheet of a weird chameleon camo pattern in grays to cover the beak and screamin' WHITEtank. It will be all subdued out and I won't have to ruin the factory paint. If I don't like it or want to change later on, I'll peel it off and start anew.
So let's review:
Tank bag: Stays
White paint: Gets covered
Listening to all your advice: Disregarded
And I am: CM

That's a really nice piece of equipment there. Maybe I'll upgrade some day to something similar......
Do like I did Keep and develop the one you have which is great for tight off road technical trails, but add something like this if you decide on driving down to Moab or up to Wyoming.

My thoughts of this so far is that Mr. Lavoy seemed like (clutching at a wound or not might have been drawing a weapon. The caveat to all this is:
Is this the real film????? Or do we have a Kenyan with a dead man's social security number elected president coverup?
Overlying problem is that we the people no longer really trust our government. Just look at the testimony of the wife of the adjacent farmer who was threatened and brutalized for no real good reason.
On many occasions we had Taliban on their knees in a circle while we awaited the Army to collect them. We could have kicked in a few teeth or beat one half to death just to relieve tensions, but we never did. Once they became non combatants they were just 150 pound bags with legs. I may have wanted to just shoot one out of anger, but I/we never did. Although having emotions, we kept them in check and ultimately respected our enemy.
Is the ATF, and BLM agents doing the same? Or do they feel empowered to kick a little butt here and there just for sport?

And then it was time for the test ride, which I might add, went very well. I hopped a curb right away and tried to spin it in some mud, but the traction control wouldn't let me. One word about this bike:
Glass
I have never felt anything so utterly well refined and smooth. The engine is like liquid. Incredibly silky compared to that hammering and thumping DR-650 steam powered bike I own. And the grips and seat warmed right up. It was in the low 40's for the ride so heat was welcome.

Unfortunately all that moving the bike around the shop wore out the stock tires, so we will be changing the stockers out for some new ones next
I will run a Continental TKC-80 front which is the stock tire for the big German GS world tourer and a Shinko 705 rear which is a bit more aggressive that the stocker but should serve well while I break in the bike mostly on the open road

Next we fitted the panniers, 37 liter each. These cleverly lock into the factory racks and show a green tab when properly secured and a red tab is not completely locked in

I'll be adding a factory tank bag. The one I'm getting will be all black and hadn't come in yet. It has a 16 expandable to a 20 liter size

I don't open carry in public. But if I did, the gun would not be strapped.
Same feeling here exactly.
IMHO public open carry is just exposing you and drawing unnecessary/unwanted attention. For the life of me, i can't figure out why that would be anybody's preference. I get the 2a rally demonstrations and stuff, but that's different... it's an exhibition. I open carry in the woods, in my yard, etc etc. Never in public.
Me Same Open carry on the farm and it's in the way a lot, but public places CC. I've taken to wearing sports jackets a lot more because of that.

That last line says a lot Don. They said they were armed to defend themselves and made no threats.
With all that going on where were the "cameras" even one of the LEOs, in a car or somewhere.
I don't know. Shooting an unarmed person who is charging you? Were any weapons seen at the stop? Remember, "hands up-don't shoot"?
Plus, no bail for what really amounts to a trespassing? Witnesses are in custody?
To much not answered, to many red flags,,,,,,,,,,,,
Yea, it stinks JR I will always side with the law, always I am assuming the officers were acting lawfully If they were not, then badge or not, they were no longer officers of the law. I don't know, wasn't there. I do know that when it comes to a fight, and testosterone, someone's gonna get shot and someone will find a reason later. Everything happens for a reason. I just hope the word Martyr doesn't need to start showing up when talking about this man...That will mean things are slipping out of control.

Point of order here
First, when it comes to eating, we don't really "Want" the girls to hold up their end...if ya know what I'm sayin'
Second. I thought that was some sort of trick photography, not really a man hole cover size pizza.
Third, MAN WHAT WERE YOU THINKIN?
Side note: Gonna' be a good day, a Special Ops Chinook is flying overhead! Makes me want to go attack somethin'

What kind of retention, a strap? The kydex isn't good enough?
Open carry without retention invites someone to take your gun and shoot YOU with it... Just sayin...

Came to me again!
Ephesians 5: 3-18
3 But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. 4 Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. 5 For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.[a] 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. 7 Therefore do not be partners with them.
8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10 and find out what pleases the Lord. 11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. 13 But everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light. 14 This is why it is said:
“Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”
15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. 18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, 1
