Title: Prusa 3D printer fun
Post by: JR on December 04, 2019, 09:15:56 PM
So, had a couple pics in the WDYDT forum but figure this fits here too.

I just got a 3D printer, the Prusa I3 MK3S. Recommended by a few people and forums.

So I started with a couple simple things that came with the printer. Plus the filament included is not the best for quality, but easy to use.

Printed out a couple battery holders for the 20v tools I have, both Dewalt and Porter Cable.

SO far so good;

That is cool

I wonder if you can print out a fix to all the stupidity around?

Might end up looking like a big hammer!

Why doesn't that surprise me. Finding some stuff on the web, long as they are an STL file I can do what I like. Now to learn to draw stuff!

Learning for sure, just ordered a bunch of PETG for it. Going to build cover (not housing) so I can add lights and keep it cleaner.

you should start to learn CAD, its pretty easy now.  I would invest in the multi material head I think they are around $300.  I just bought a spool of SS filament but haven't got a chance to print with it yet.  I supposed to be good enough for trigger parts i will find out soon.

If you get CAD files you can convert to STL
