Accidents and mishaps...
-
Just messin' with your day!
-
There are good days and bad days
-
Some lessons we learn from, some we do not

That's the weapons officer/bombardier...Pilot didn't eject...Imagine what it was like for him hanging out beside a rocket motor!
-
And the fun continues!
-
Did I put the landing gear down???
-
Why Women outlive men!
-
There's always another wreck coming right around the corner
-
The fun just never stops

Hmmm...

I actually think I may have done the damage to the 152 in the second pic!
No kidding, I think so...
See the truck? A Toyota Hilux
It was Just Cause, the Panama invasion of 1989
I had just flown a Seal Team into Padillia airport in downtown Panama city. Might have the spelling wrong.
Anyway the first Seal Team got all shot up and needed reinforcements, so Our crew, I was the copilot, flew these guys in. I was the guy on the controls. While we were there, the Seals started shootin' up the parked aircraft so Noreiga could not escape in one. They hit a Citation (I think it was a Citation) with an AT-4 and made a smoking hole out of it.
Another seal went down a line of little airplanes, untieing them from their mooring points. They asked me to hover over them and flip them over with my rotor wash, so I did.
It was a sight to remember. I could get some of those little things to almost take off, and by hovering behind them run them into other airplanes and buildings and the like.
So we weren't taking much firs so I decided to do a fast-rope approach on some, and this little C-152 jumped up against a building and just stayed there banging around. It started to rip apart, so I hovered off.
The Seals seemed happy after awhile, and I had just had the fun of a lifetime, so we departed with like a quad-drillion pesos of damage behind us!
All in a day's work!

Nice!
-
Gotta wonder how we made it this far?
-
Yup!

Amazing!

to the Compaq in the back of the stratus: "Don't worry dog, I got dis"
-
Really!
Did you notice where the ramps are barely touching the wall!
I imagine life insurance wherever that is, is pretty expensive!
-
That looked hairy, and I would not go near it with a 10 foot pole! My comment though was on the brother hanging off the back of the stratus or intrepid with the computer box hanging out of the trunk. That's the darwin award right there.

A special tribute to our lady drivers!

Tanks...as promised
Nothing is exempt it would seem!

I grew up seeing that dejavu sign in Fort Wayne Indiana......

I grew up seeing that dejavu sign in Fort Wayne Indiana......
Sooo many places I could go with that one..but I'll leave it laying...
However, I think what I saw my dad do one day could have made the list of pictures here.
45ft boom lift cutting down a dead tree in the back yard. Couldn't quite get to where he wanted to up a bit higher.
Took a 10 ft. section of aluminum ladder and ratchet strapped it to the bucket and leaned it out onto the tree and was out on that with a chainsaw when I arrived on the scene....
Now for the kicker, he was 70 years old when he did it and he spent 40 years as a union ironworker so he KNOWS that's not OSHA compliant...
I told him I'm glad I stopped by and if he survived the fall I would make sure I was standing there laughing at him for being stupid...in a loving tone of course..
-
This in our truck. We were buring trees in the hole in the background. Disked up all the ground around it. I left for a Dr appointment. The guys decided to leave for lunch. While they were gone embers from the fire flew over the disked ground and lit the ditch. Then went into the field and got the truck.

I think that's a standard deja vu sign, I think there is one just like that on south Tacoma way some where around state hwy 512 north of fort lewis wa.

Same same up in Everett years ago near the Navy base. My gradeschool buddy lived in a really classy apartment above the strip club when i was about 8 yrs old. He had holes in the floor in his room. Weird right?
That's some funny stuff right there Nate. Nice to see Dave made it out ok without too much damage to the boat.

That's one strong trailer ball connection!
-
That 130 was about 100 miles from here. Saw the vid and reports for weeks.

It's all about watching where you're going when, going!

How many of us entered a muddy mud hole without knowing exactly how deep it really was? Hugh? Guilty?

"We at Delta apologize for any lost luggage, we're sorting through the pieces now"

Who if anyone can identify what type aircraft that is?
-
DC-10?
-
MD11, the DC 10 has the entire engine above the fuse.
Then it looks like a 172 do the wire act. (by the way, the most built plane ever, 20K)
Then the tail incident is an Illyushin 22 and a 747-400 (tail numbers) http://aviation-safety.net/database/record.php?id=19981111-1

Well, I would have thought so, but the date of that photo would have had to been in the 80's so I don't think so.
I seem to recall some retiring DC-10 pilot wanting to go out with a bang!

OK, it's a fake!
Should have caught the fact that the flaps weren't down. You'd have to be cookin right along without the boards out there helpin ya. Then if they were down, I'd expect some good spray pattern coming off the flaps and wingtips
-
The plane flying under the GG Bridge is a DC10. Adding to Don's input, the shadow is wrong too. From the bridge it is about 10*, from the plane it is near 30*
The plane that sucked the container into the inlet is a MD11.
I had to look up the russian aircraft, maybe Don didn't.

Now on to the next photo ... That idiot in gangsta pants without a helmet on under the bike SMH.
