And so it begins.............

Please pray for my insanity and impatience!
Just to be clear here, Nate

You asking for us to pray

For you to become or develop insanity and loose patience

;-)

Those warrant officers...

pray that my insanity and impatience does not get the better of me while this crew is here doing work that we are paying for.

i am that homeowner that knows how to do the things CORRECTLY that i am paying somebody else to do but cant because my body is either too broke or it requires me to be off the ground (i hate heights), and when somebody does something shady, stupid or tries to cut corners they all seem to get their widdle feelings hurt because they are called on it.

Got a fun phone call today,   Apparently I ordered myself some slip on work boots a few months ago, like seven months ago.  I paid half for them and simply forgot.  Well covid and that crap they were finally in the store.  Not sure what I ordered I went to see, ended up bringing them home. Fit is great style is good.

Thorogood slip on mock toe boots.

This will be my third pair of their brand.  Recommend them to anyone

I’ll just drop this here.
Still winter.
Spring trying to come but having a time.
I’ll get some pics on the weekend if I remember.
At least this weekend on lake still.
Should still be two I think.
Was 53 yesterday so if we get a few of those it will impact sledding.

Found a little time to jerk the old generator out and get ready to put in the spare. The old Onan is getting mothballed for the time being. I need to evaluate if it's worth it to me to fix it or get a different one. I really would like a bigger one. All it needs is extract the broken bolts, finish cleaning the carbon, rings, head gaskets, head bolts, carb kit, reseal the intake and all new exhaust.

So random question to see if anyone has any ideas, again not my lane or my problem. It’s a company problem

But the 1999 peterbuilt has 700+ miles

They replaced one injector last month, and if I understand they also replaced the charger.

Is it chugging the smoke that goes with that lope?
Being serious.
My 60 series loped like that as it grenaded back in the day.
It did not continue on for long however as it was catastrophic.

Something is bad wrong.
Just couldn’t say for sure if it’s hard parts or something else.

They have tried all kinds of gauges and such to see what it’s doing and no success.
There doesn’t look like much for computer on the truck. Just add fuel and air and air pressure but I’m just a guy who drove over Logan canyon doing 15 mph in 3rd low to get home today only pulling maybe 18k

It should run that canyon at 70mph and screamin

No smoke what so ever it’s clean clean

Probably a cat then. Great motors but with all the new ULSF and 700k, might just be tired.

I would say an inframe is due.

Just replaced the cover on the HF 10x20 canopy. 2nd time but covers are just $25. Might put tin on it next time.

Bought a new drone, Mavic Air 2. Will post a little review in the correct forum after I fly test some.

Just picked up another side project...

Gas tank resto for a local motorcycle speed shop who died a few years back.  This bike tank was one of the last he painted,  they asked me to paint correct it and then they will pour his ashes in and hang it at the speed shop.

Busy weekend. Joint campout with 4 scout troops. 3 hour drive to the campsite. Indian cave state park. They had a lot of activities going on. Archery, black powder rifle shooting and blacksmith demo.  Among other things. I bought a really cool steak turner from the black smith.
Starting a new hauling job tomorrow. I will be pulling an end dump hauling shredded metal from the scrap yard to a steel mill. Got a year contract.
My Nephew is going to have to take care of the soybean planting.

My boys had the Camporee this Sat also. Great place called Timm Ranch, 3100 acres about 10 min from the house.

They said it was OK as girls were running around everywhere. What happened to Boy Scouts?

Ken, two people on our block in Bullhead City replaced their air systems. Ours is original too so hope it makes it through summer. We will replace it next winter when get back down. Bad part is the air handler is in attic and since the refrigerant has changed we will need to replace it too. The thing is too big to drop down through the access hole so will need to come down and replaced in pieces.

We were supposed to go to a camporee but skipped it to do this instead.  They had to many stupid rules. Wear a mask at all times even in your own campsite.  They wanted like 30 bucks per scout. One of the other leaders contacted me and said forget that lets go it on our own.
One of the troops has 3 girls. I have mixed feelings on that. I feel like the girl scouts need to step it up. But on the other hand if a child wants to learn something I won't turn them away. My brother is struggling with his girls and their troop. They don't do anything. He told me the GS leader said they can do indoor hikes in the house. His daughter is seeing my boy do all these campouts and is getting real frustrated with the Girl scout leader.

What is it with bikers and skulls? IMHO dumb as heck. You get to spend the majority of eternity dead, as in the physical sense...And the devil is all about death. We mourn death so why on earth would we want to adorn our possessions and bodies with skulls???
Appropriate urn I suppose

Ran a Precision Rifle Match at the club Saturday. Had 61 guys come out to shoot.  Each one fired about 100 rounds throughout the day.  Targets were varied in range from 100 to 675 yards. Most targets were about  2MOA in size (12" target at 600 yards).  My wife came out to take some photos of the match.

Just picked up another side project...

Gas tank resto for a local motorcycle speed shop who died a few years back.  This bike tank was one of the last he painted,  they asked me to paint correct it and then they will pour his ashes in and hang it at the speed shop.

What is it with bikers and skulls? IMHO dumb as heck. You get to spend the majority of eternity dead, as in the physical sense...And the devil is all about death. We mourn death so why on earth would we want to adorn our possessions and bodies with skulls???
Appropriate urn I suppose
Living or dead you still have a skeleton structure,  it definitely is the colder side of life.

Just ordered 2 A/C  heat pumps. Ooof. That's going to hurt for awhile.
That doesn't sound like fun Bob.

Our house has a 13 seer 4 ton and a 5 ton. The larger one has been noisy for a couple years and the electric bill has been hitting $650 during the hottest days. Time to fix it. Going to rent a telehandler and save a few grand.

First day of the new hauling job went well. There was a some of "you are doing it wrong" and I made a spectacle of myself unloading.  I looked like a total rookie backing in to dump. Tight quarters and unfamiliar trailer. Second load was a little better. Only took 5 trys.
