Getting C-Max ready for the cold weather which approacheth...
First off, had to replace another torn up air bag.
Easy fix
Was thinking ov using the poly lower cradle, but after looking at it, my sliding steel coupling system seemed better, so, with a new and mo-liberal coating of grease, it all got reused

I remember that day so well
I was flying a jet back to Cincy when ATC started vectoring everyone to land.
It was my last leg, getting in very early, since I had been flying or on deck since 2230 the night before.
I stowed my gear and rode the crew bus to the parking lot, got in the car and drove back to the apartment I was renting at the time. My wife called, I answered
She said, "Thank God you're OK!"
I didn't have a clue why she said that and asked why did she say that
She said, "You don't know?"
Know what, I asked
She said, Just turn on the TV
I asked, what channel
She answered, "Just turn on the TV"
I watched it unfold
And I knew we were going to war...

Rosco needs a miracle, he's not doing well.
His Mom posted this a couple of hours ago...
URGENT specific prayers needed....blood pressure 234/80....very high...cranial pressure is hanging at mid 60's. these numbers are at max pain meds and going back on sedation. he spikes higher than this when messed with. as I was typing this the neurosurgeon came in and told us his pressure is climbing like crazy and he's maxed on all that medicine and doctors can do. They expect brain death later today. They did say they don't believe he is feeling pain and is totally unaware. we are all devestated and have shock upon what was already shock. PLEASE PRAY foe us all.
A mutual friend Matt Rowland sent me this about an hour ago which he received from Rosco's sister
The prognosis has not changed since he got here. Each day has been little to no change with numbers gradually getting worse. His bp is 236/85 and his icp is at 72. He is fighting all he can and we never once gave up hope and faith but doctors do suspect it will reach completely thru his brain stem sometime within the next 24 hours, causing brain death. We are currently spending precious precious time with him. Nothing can prepare you for this. When I was holding his hand I told him that it's OK. That it sucks for us, but we all know he will be in a better place and he squeezed my hand. Something about that brought comfort to me. I love my brother so much.
Lord, we need a miracle for Rosco.
I'm sorry for this... I lifted him up. Not sure what the Lord is doing with this Did he know Jesus in a personal way?

Well, that's what I am going to do Lights separate circuit, one down one up Maybe 5-6 outlets on one 12 ga, 20 amp circuit Separate 20 amp outlet for the air compressor. Just purchased some 10 gage wire to run a single outlet for the camper
Will wire in a 50 amp outlet for the welder, and one for the dryer (Or whatever amperage circuit it requires)
I also plan to run the outdoor facing outlets on their own GFCI circuit,
Make the bathroom outlets GFCI
The "Kitchen" outlets GFCI, and wire in a stub bow north and south for future growth. I see one running a water pump that pressurizes the H20, and another that supplies current to the "Pusher" pump which will go in down at the well.
Starting on all that in the morrow.

We are all intelligent men here
We all know that color means nothing
with respect to the quality and character of a man
It's just a crime that we allowed this president to push this wedge inbetween different races of Americans
After we had evolved to a place where it doesn't matter
The problem has always been with the socialists
Who are constantly apologizing (Cowardice) for something none of us do
Which lazy people use to their advantage to stay in their place, fixed and apart from self improvement
Simply abolish social income programs and the churches would pick up the real people in need
As you all know, I was feeding the homeless on the streets of Cincinnati. But I kept noticing the same faces, addicted to heroin or alcohol, or just a victim of their own stupidity. They, for the most part were content to stay wet during rain storms, to stay hungry when no one fed them, because they used all their money for another fix. They were content to actually live under a bridge or in a grown up part of a park instead of getting a job.
Then on top of that some of them, the blacks mostly, were haters of cops. I'd feed them, and listen to them in hopes of finding that moment to speak into their lives, but, I kept hearing hatred, bitter hatred. Finally I stopped casting my pearls after the swine, for, indeed, they trampled upon them.
Now there were a few who fell on desperation because of stupid decisions they had made, but today, almost all of them are in apartments, trying to work, getting proper care, and becoming productive.
Now, unfortunately, for them, when this whole crystal palace comes crashing down, they will not survive for long. But that is their choice. I, like so many others, have to decide, do I put my dwindling resources into people who are striving (The Christian refugees) or into people content to live and indeed, revel in evil. Well, I am of clear conscience, and I have made my choice...

Or trade the 11 in on the new one?

Yep If we weren't dubbed, "The quiet Professionals" I believe some Recon guy, some SF dude, Some Ranger, or Seal, might adjust his attitude so quick, he'd think lightening just struck him. Tell you what, we will not stay quiet forever... Will come a time when some idiot will stomp a flag Probably come at the exact moment one of us is thinking of that guy...The one who died...Horribly...Who was our friend We see that idiot disrespecting our nation, the one our friend gave it all for, Then emotion will override reason just long enough to fundamentally disassemble the moron who intrudes into our quiet moment of memory Could happen on a nationwide scale...

Another question, have you driven the truck yet enough to see how the front springs feel? And do you think a dodge leaf will ruin the nicer ride? Im asking because my chevy 52s are doing the same and i have my dodge packs to disect
No, I haven't driven it at all It is not done Just paused Has no brakes yet, Linkages need to be invented Transmission cable/wiring needs to go in No AC system yet Some electrical things to sort out It is still just a project...

I doubt this despondent football spoiled brat will not stand for anything for very long.
Men like this generally lack real courage.
He is making a ton of money
He undoubtedly owns about everything and has the opportunity for a great life.
But he chooses to set aside the honorable lives of men far greater than he who didn't have it all, who did have the courage to act.
To make some idiotic statement...
Getting hit on a football field while making a million dollars for doing so
vs
Getting hit by an IED which severs your legs, while your wife back home is supporting your kids with food stamps
No doubt in my mind who is the real man.
People like this spoiled brat mean nothing to we who have stood the watch and the other patriots who would if called...

Don, Did you ever add a spring from the old dodge pack to your chechevy packs to help with the flatness??
No is the short answer... The other leaves are sitting right there next to the truck, but not installed yet! They will be, but this farm thing is definitely eating my time

If I hadn't already pulled all that wire, I might throw in some 12-2 in place of the 14 gage, but, not now that it is completed!
It's only a shed, I'll do OK with the setup I have, but I won't repeat in the house or barn I'll build next!

Even simpler put... "A 30-amp breaker does not operate safely with a 12-gauge wire. The minimum wire size that is allowable for use with a 30-amp breaker is 10 gauge."
https://www.reference.com/science/can-use-12-gauge-wire-30-amp-breaker-f6aa0a7c53d4be5#
Shawn (I think -- terrible with names) - what you're doing for the lights is perfectly acceptable since the load would never exceed what that 12ga circuit and wire is designed to handle.
Heck, I screwed up! I'm off one wire size Well, I'll just put a 20 Amp breaker on the 12 gage circuit No one is paying attention or something So One more time... The 14 gage is O N L Y for the LED light circuit...That is to say...No outlets, only light bulbs So once again, the pilot is saying, only light bubs on the 14 gage wire circuit, and only LED's at that! Man...

That is sure a nice looking place. Must be a pleasure even to work there, much less it is yours!
That wood looks good. At least the little stuff will burn good.
I want to see what you get for chief. You need a good pond not a watering hole.
How come no insulation behind the board? I like the use of 14g romex, but see you snuck some 14 in there.
JR, no real reason you can't live there too, ya know. I'd say, sell off maybe 10 sq/ft of Kali and you could probably afford it all. On another note, When I add the adjacent property to mine, I think I'll sell off some 5-20 acre lots to like minded individuals... Working there was like a fall ride on my motorcycle. No sound, except for the wind brushing through the trees or my noisy equipment. Temps were 60's most of the day and breezy. It was an outstanding few days down there...So peaceful...I hardly want to leave it! Yep, I am putting the light circuits on a 20 amp breaker, one down and one up. Since I am using all LED lighting and if there is an EMP, then I will go to every third fixture having an incandescent bulb. For that reason, there was no reason to go up to the 12 ga. stuff.

I got all that stacked on those racks I mounted to the shed last week. All in all, it wasn't difficult pulling the boards off, and most of them were in pretty good shape. The really old ones were thinner and broke easily, but the more robust ones were solid and not cracked. Most were a full 1" thick and most of them are some species of hardwood or another, mostly oak

I think I ended up placing locations for thirteen lights in the shop area alone. If the work is slow, I can roll right into a tanning mode by cranking the voltage a few more, or with even more do rotisserie chicken over by the saw!
So next up, I build in the area for the wood burning stove. I opted for 1/2" hardybackerboard. It's a concrete board impervious to water and will stand the heat. I think I'll also run some ribbed steel immediately adjacent to the stove, once I get that sucker located where I want it.

« on: September 02, 2016, 09:26:31 PM »
I put them all over creation!
All of those circuits will be on a 30 amp breaker with 12 gage wire
The lights are going in on a couple of 20 amp circuits, and that will be overkill, as I plan to use LEDs to keep the current budget low

I kept getting hit with thunderstorms, but I just worked through it all. Riding around in a steel cage on a hill top might have been a tad risky, but I was more interested in getting some of the dirt washed off me by all the rain. It worked!
After day one, I had maybe 2/3 of the stand on the ground. Dinner and a hot shower was calling my name so I put the Sarge to bed early.
20740
« on: September 02, 2016, 09:11:28 PM »
There used to be a stand of trees in and around the well.
Since I want that to be a solar powered pumper, the things that block sunlight met Sarge!
The technique seems to be to grub around the roots with the teeth, then when enough of them have been cut, just push the tree over, then lift the root ball free of the ground. I tackles some 40-50 footers, but they were no match for the Sarge

SNOPES NO MORE!! Many of the emails that I have sent or forwarded that had any anti Obama in it were negated by Snopes. I thought that was odd. Check this out. Snopes is heavily financed by George Soros; a big time supporter of Obama. In our Search for the truth department, we find what I have suspected on many occasions. I went to Snopes to check something about the dockets of the new Supreme Court Justice, Elena Kagan who Obama appointed and Snopes said the email was false and there were no such dockets so I Googled the Supreme Court, typed in Obama-Kagan, and guess what? Yep you got it; Snopes Lied! Everyone of those dockets are there. So Here is what I wrote to Snopes: Referencing the article about Elena Kagan and Barak Obama dockets: The information you have posted stating that there were no such cases as claimed and the examples you gave are blatantly false. I went directly to the Supreme Courts website, typed in Obama Kagan and immediately came up with all of the dockets that the article made reference to. I have long suspected that you really slant things but this was really shocking. Thank You, I hope you will be much more truthful in the future, but I doubt it. That being said, I'll bet you didn't know this. Kagan was representing Obama in all the petitions to prove his citizenship. Now she may help rule on them. Folks, this is really ugly. Chicago Politics; and the beat goes on and on and on. Once again the US Senate sold us out! Now we know why Obama nominated Elena Kagan for the Supreme Court. Pull up the Supreme Courts website, go to the docket and search for Obama. She was the Solicitor General for all the suits against him filed with the Supreme Court to show proof of natural born citizenship. He owed her big time. All of the requests were denied of course. They were never heard. It just keeps getting deeper and deeper, doesn't it? The American people mean nothing any longer. It's all about payback time for those who compromised themselves to elect someone who really has no true right to even be there. Here are some websites of the Supreme Court Docket: You can look up some of these hearings and guess what? Elena Kagan is the attorney representing Obama! Check out these examples: http://www.supremecourt.gov/ Search.aspx?FileName=/ docketfiles/09-8857.htm http://www.supremecourt.gov/ Search.aspx?FileName=/ docketfiles/09-6790.htm http://www.supremecourt.gov/ Search.aspx?FileName=/ docketfiles/09-724.htm If you are not interested in justice or in truth, simply delete. However, if you hold sacred the freedoms granted to you by the U.S. Constitution; by all means, PASS it ON! Is there truly tyranny afoot? p.s. Nate, It was the third time I used it
One of the attaching pins fell out which bent the ears, that's all
Well there are also a bunch of dents in that thick steel
And, since I'm confessing the rear chain guard is bent
And the blades look like they have been processing rocks, which by the way, it does rather well
To the extent that where I find a rock, I leave in my wake a scattered pile of gravel
The decals are all torn off, but despite all of that, when the new pin comes in I'll be right back at it!
