Those rocks would make a heck of an obstacle along the main road or even a way to block the main entrance if that ever arose. Place a few in the right spot with a "key" to knock out.

There are other ways in/out if I recall.

Surprised many of them are still alive per the Clinton history.

I would dare say many of us did what Ford is claiming happened.

That's cool Sean, maybe a split property where you have the house out front and shop/business in the rear on a BIG lot?

I see them on CL for around 25K around here, not terrible.

I can see a trans build for me in the next year or so. Never had an issue and has the transgo jr, but I push it time to time and it gets hot to easy.

Got a set of 12ton jacks stand today at HF. I know the 6tons above will hold it up, but they were maxed out for height. Plus the Dmax is next and it is a little heavier than the old sub.

Got the 60 out so I can wood for the fence tomorrow. $8 dolly from HF and a couple 4x make for easy moving. MC jack was not working at all!

Listing a few things on CL and pirate to recoop some funds.

Last contractor in my house was fired. Ceiling was out by a 1/2 inch, floor was wavy and he used sheet rock screws.

Best part of it all was my dog bit his worker, and he had never bit anyone before  :beercheers:

Got to work on the 1500 sub to get it gone. Great inside cept headliner, just 87K miles. Rear is blown so I'm shoving a 9.5 with posi under it.

All new brakes, tires and wheels. Turns over but won't start, I figure the old alarm is the issue.

Which cognito lift do you have? The 4-6”?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yep the 4-6 front non torsion bar drop and I have their upper A arms on the truck now. New Timken hubs and few other little things. I just looked and just the kit is $1780. Going to throw it up here, CL and pirate PDQ. Would add the UCA too but they are still in use, those are over $500 now! I figure $1500 for the lift and other stuff, add $300 for the UCA when they come off.

Guess I kinda did put it up here first

Well, with life doing its normal thing all this has been on hold for the past year.

I have decided to go SAS though and found a Dana 60. Selling the cognito stuff will offset its cost. It is a 1988 HP from a F350, 4.10 open (per the billvista code) Mounting is 36.5 and have been researching kits, but looking more like a complete DIY. Need to get Spartan running first since I just paid the tags for another year and need multi pass vehicles.

Got some 37/12.5-17 Coopers MTPs for it too, so the lift is needed for those. Will move the axle 1in forward with 5-6 lift on the SAS.

Also got some carb legal manifolds for the exhaust as I still have to mess with Ca smogs.

Maybe it can be scrapped off with heat?

Yep Dave. Been doing research on it for sometime now and just decided why not. There are a few kits but what wheat I see the few brackets are easy to make, so it might be a DIY.

Sounds like that motor was built loose or they lined up all the rings (yep, seen that).

As to smog compliant, that normally means a "closed system" meaning the oil vent would be a no go, but should be OK with the cap when needed.

Smooth walls and textured ceiling, like!!!!

6882
If it is your vehicle, have it towed to your mech, not "their" mech. Sure their mech wants wants keep going, but if he is just their stooge it could show a pattern.

Look at the bearings, if shot replace the motor. Plus you will have the removed parts to show what the oil did.

Looks good. I always liked the slabbed sides on bath.

6884
Unless your motor had a major fail they have nothing. You would expect them to try to blame anything but their work.

200K is nothing on motors now, even worn bearing don't get warn in 4 days!

Have it analyzed and get low mile motor dropped in and sue them. If it has diesel or other bearing material in it you are golden!

Going to Australia is on my bucket list, but not for work!

My feet and back are sore, did most of the fence structure today with the neighbors help. I do not recommend using the post foam. Several of the post moved during the curing, some up and over. I think it would work well for holes that are bored true with no taper. The stuff hardens so fast it pulls from the posts and does not spread on the top of the holes. 2 of the post we had to shim to get the polls straight. 2 were filed on the top with cement because of the gaps and 1 we just filled with cement. It is not a clean run for the fence though. The 1st 25ft are metal polls for building an overhang, then another 50 back to the shed that is 2ft higher than the yard grade with shrubs. Should have it done by the end of the week.

Jon, I don't rough it as I used to but I still go to them all. Next weekend is an advance camp at the Fairgrounds with a sleepover. Friday night will be at 6 flags. I did the mats and cots, now I am an air mattress guy.  Schnapps also seems to find a way into my co-co.

Last Sat we had fun at the rock climbing place.

I hated that program. Ca still sends my a letter every year for my El Camino wanting me to junk it. Then the classics they utterly destroyed without a thought. They had to pour a solution in the motor to lock it up!

We have a chance to even get a Rep Gov this time in Ca. Polls are getting closer but still an uphill battle. Brown's policies are so stupid like the movie 2012 is happening.

Yep, Trump is a winner and his policies are helping everyone.

I get that towing real light but not heavy stuff.

My tunes suck right now. Reloaded the Rob DSP5 and it just missing something and get 12mpg around town. I run the edge 125 and get 15-16 in town and 22 on the highway.

My tires came in so I need to get the lift on and the re-gear done asap.
