Got to see both of them. Reba here in Ca and Brooks/Dunn up in Reno, both were great!

Now that is easy, Vegas. Did you do the roller coaster in NYNY? The look on my wifes face was priceless.

Is the water still down at the dam? We went through Laughlin on the way home. Had a Notar land not 20' away as we ate dinner at a hotel. I went fishing while my wife played (caught a couple) and a beaver walked right out of the reeds up to me.

There is a small air museum on the way to the canyon if you are going that way.

No coaster, i only went into cesars and bellagio.  Oh wait, i went into mgm to check out the "CSI experience" which was complete garbage.

The lake was down quite a bit
Been that way for many years Nate

I have read that because of the diminishing lake volume, Las Vegas stands to be the first US city to be abandoned.

So that was our group of civil people, no name calling no anger, no hate. Thanked every officer I seen along our March route.

As I watched and listed to the other side it was very much Hate, anger, rage.  No police support just there for requirements ( the police are protested against by the very same group of people any other day of the week)
About half.  The four block street behind me in this photo was people who couldn’t get to the capital because of so many people.

I have a couple smaller that are the same thing. Not sure if I trust it in a vehicle with all the bouncing around, but under a desk/cabinet, sure.

Yesterday I went and hung out with my cousin. Had a few beers and it was nice to just sit around visit. My wife dropped me off on her way to go shopping with my daughter and my Mother. They had a girls day.  My oldest boy lives with my mother.  has for some time now. The story she told my wife  yesterday just has me shaking my head.
He has quit his job and is now going to work under the table for cash. Because he decided he can cheat the system and not pay child support. We have explained his flawed thinking in the past but he gets mad and storms off. When asked what he is going to do when they take his drivers license he replied that he just wont turn it in. We tried to explain that is not how this works but he is right and we are all wrong. So I will just let him figure it out on his own. I have gone round and round with him explaining how child support works. He only listens to his friends who are a bunch of morons.

Supposed to rain then snow tonight so I spring fertilized lawn. I also seeded and covered with straw the other half of our back yard that the evil red dog was destroying. Dogs got groomed, machined parts & finally started working on taxes with appointment this Saturday evening, guess I had better get a move on as I’m roughly a third of the way there on collecting information for said appointment.

Got my heart broken this morning. When I replaced the injectors the first time I added the nicktane filter adapter and use the Donaldson 3 micron filters. I also use additive every fillup and never let the truck get below half tank of fuel. Guess I should’ve bitten the bullet and got a Fass or Air dog.

Try the GM injector cleaner first. It may solve the problem

I ran a bottle through a few months ago and I will try again before I do anything drastic. May also try Hot Shots Secret from tractor supply company. Seems some guys are having good luck with it.

That’s a hard pill to swallow Dave. If I have to open her up I’ll probably do 5 and 7 at a minimum. Maybe 1 also. The truck is for sale so my current mood is to show interested parties the balance rates, mark it down, and sell it without replacing anything. I did order a bottle of GM injector cleaner tonight. I’ll give that one more try first.

I have never ran a cleaner, but I run a cat 750 (2micron) and additive most fillups.

You guys it from GM? Is it a process or just dump it in?

I think Cat has changed their specs on that filter and it’s not as good as they originally thought. I switched to Donaldson with a water separator bowl.
This is the stuff you need. It’s an easy process.

I run a donaldson 5micron with water trap at the tank with a Kennedy lift pump. I also run 2 stroke oil with fill ups for lubricity.

Looks easy enough and with 151k on it now, worth a shot!

Smart move JR

You just can't say enough about those CAT filters. There is a reason their equipment lasts so long whilst operating in such a harsh environment...

Same as the 6BT cummins, rock solid!

Got an order going from Amazon, wheel well liners, fender clips and additive.

You know Don, as much as we all here order from Amazon. Could there be a link set up where we buy stuff and RMTW gets a little % from it? Not sure if it works with an LLC vs a charity, but worth a look see??

Spent the last couple hours filling out passport info for the family. Mine is easy, just a renewal. Theirs with all the forms, AND we all have to appear together for the applications.

This just for a simple cruise with an 8 hours stop,,,,,,,,,,,should just go to Disneyworld in Florida.

Been away for a bit after having to go to Alabama for my brother in law’s funeral. It was a good visit with family considering the circumstances. Trip was good, no problem with the van and the kids were as good as 10 kids can be in a 12 passenger Van for an eight hour trip.

After we got back, a family friend asked if I could put down one of their horses. They had recently gotten it back from an older gentleman who had a stroke, the horse was basically evacuated bacause he wasn’t able to take care of it. About a week after they got her home, she went a little ballistic and in her excitement, kicked her leg through a gate and severely broke it. Her husband was out of town and she didn’t want to let the animal suffer.  It was my first time putting down a horse, put down other animals, but something that big was different. She dropped right where she stood without any issues though and our friend said it was the most gentle she’d seen one put down.

I also found a raccoon in my garage the next day. In the process of dispatching said varmint, I discovered that I can shoot in my garage and no one in the house was any wiser. Makes me want to follow through with my plans for an indoor range, I could get about fifty yards at the long part of the garage. Anyone built a backstop for indoor shooting before?  Any ideas?

Dave, I've done some readin' on that also. I think the biggest issue is ventilation. Get that sorted and the bullet stop should be easy...like a big pile of sand with a 45* steel plate from roof down would be one version (or if it's a basement, just shoot into the wall. lol)

should have posted earlier. My youngest crossed over to Boyscouts, was a cool evening. Oldest was supposed to assist but it didn't happen. Even got my mom there. She is trying but not really getting anywhere with her stroke recovery. I haul her around using a wheelchair and she is shrinking up.

Now both are scouts in the same troop, less work but more $$ for me as I am an assist scout master now.

Did PT today on my right knee. Sprang good, 6-8 week recovery they saw. At least I am sleeping a little now!

Spent the day cleaning up after a few other trades because we didn’t have the dump trailer on site.   Hvac guys used big boxes.  Roofer just made a nasty pile of cuts and packages, electrician left his garbage all over the house.  The framers well. They just toss junk out any empty window and leave drinks on any flat surface.    Filled the dump trailer, emptied and washed  with the truck .

I also made arrangements that my boy can come once a week to help clean, hopefully he learns some skills.  Or at least help him learn some value of $$

Today I put 12 colors of paint on the casita to please the wife.  She still can’t decide. Doesn’t like any of them

Then I watered the sod and did a little dirt work after bible study.

Every wonder about the origins of Easter? And how Friday to Sunday is three days and three nights?

Then I smoked some chicken legs and thighs

Then I pressure washed the front of the shop. It was nasty with green mildew all over the white doors.

And after all that I’m enjoying my burn pile. I have a brand new fire pit and I enjoy the burn pile. I’m still a redneck.

Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

My wife and I saw them several years ago when they were opening for Corey Smith in Huntsville Alabama. That night was the first time they ever played the song Cruise in front of an audience. They were dorks then and they are still dorks today. I don’t know what to call that crap that comes out of their mouths, but it dang sure ain’t country music.
