Love it when we get these wild storms on a hot day. Tons of dust and the rain disappears just before it hits my town.

UG, AC is out. Have a buddy who fixes em and we found the issue, motor control. 10 days out!

I may go get a swamp cooler then drag it up to the ridge afterwords.

Garage and daughters room still have AC. I got a mid sized evap cooler to help with house, works pretty good. Big learning curve for family as they want to keep closing windows vs the flow through.

Will take it up to the Ridge after this, should work great in the cont and for spot work. Plus the size I got will work on my inverter so no gen running all the time.

So this happened yesterday. Down south. HH6’s parents moving to town from their farm. Been there 50+ years. Not sure what all will be coming home with us. Have empty truck and car trailer.

It’s all about milestones.
300k miles was the next one.
Next up 500k kms. About 10k miles or so to go.

Only 117 kms. Only 75 or so...

And the way our tyrant dictator is going I won’t stay in the closet long...lol.

I’m normally just fine in my AC house but... kids need to learn the fun of sleeping in the yard.  Next time I’ll not bother with a tent

They had fun.  I’ll be sore for a bit

I tried that a few years ago.  It’s like sleeping in a hammock with four other people piled on the largest person.  I won’t do that again either. Ground it is

Ever sleep on a 5,000 gallon fuel pillow?

Biggest "water" bed on earth.

Very nice

Picked up 40 broilers I had processed. I vacuum sealed them. One bag didn't seal. After several tries I took it as a sign to put it in the smoker.

Also after being almost wiped out by a fox a few weeks ago one of my 2 remaining hens hatched 5 chicks. The other hen is on a pile of eggs. I hope she has a bunch.

Nice Charles!
Don, Duraburb? Nice...I think. Big bigger project.

Me, helping my boy with some projects around his place.
They had groundwater entering septic tank. We found the problem about 18” underground.
When they installed the concrete rings one was off centre and broke h one below.
I’ll take pics of the ugliest forms ever award winner. The concrete looks like it stuck so I closed it back up for the night. We’ll get it all sealed up in the next couple days.
I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb.  I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.

No permafrost here. Maybe 4-5 feet of frost in the winter. Winnipeg Manitoba vicinity.

He jumped the gun on me this morning. Hope everything is ok in the mess of stuff for the fix.

The broken pieces on the lid were the lip for the joint. I suspect installation error as there is an inch of misalignment. We made an ugly as all get out form with the cardboard and garbage bag. Tied rope around to try to keep it close to the tube. All in all it is not terrible. Certainly could be better by someone who knows what the heck they’re doing. Lol.
The light grey is a quickcrete crack filler. Put it on the top to seal up the fresh concrete. Then he blueskin is brushed on. Once the new stuff dries a  bit we’ll finish the blueskin.

My favorite lake. Me and the family were up at Sam Rayburn just a few weeks ago. Water was a tad rough but had a great time all the same. Usually try to make a trip up at least once a year. Been tossing around the idea of purchasing some property up there at some point in the future. Hope you and the family have a nice trip and stay safe!!

I am really loving that Allison transmission.

Every switch has a computer chip in it. So every action has to be done a particular way. There are safeties installed that I would never have thought of. Example. I dump the air suspension in the truck when I dump the trailer. Then I take off. If I forget to air the truck back up a warning buzzer sounds. To put it in gear. Foot on brake, release parking brake then push the button.
