They are a good thing in truely wild settings.....how many of those are there?  Anywhere else where they overlap with humans and the simplest elements of civilization they become problematic because they work the path of least resistance. Domestic animals and humans become easy targets because LAWS constrain our abilities to protect property. Unless a direct or eminent attack on a human, Lord help you if you get caught shooting one!  Protected wolves near civilization are like MS13 without ICE ..... vicious and hard to wipe out.

I'd just pressure your dealer who managed to ruin a transmission just sitting there waiting to be fixed, to work you a wonderful deal on a different problem LoL

FWIW the F250 rides as good or better than our "Heavy tow" F150 Eco Puke. Than you can be like me, drive up along side a Newer Chevy, get the drivers attention, and take my hands off the wheel and watch them panic LoL Chevy guys steer a LOT =)

Or you can explain to the Chevy guy looking at your 35" rubber lovingly that "ya I just put them on, no lift" drives nice.

Another fun thing to do is while they are pouring DEF in their new Durmax ya can say "ya I get 12mpg but its only $1.65 a gallon as you fill with E85 and smile.

Just some ideas....

KooT - your line of reasoning harkens back to college and sayings about ugly girls and the dark or something like just cause you can doesn’t mean you should.....I don’t even like RENTING a Ford!

You will never be sorry for a getting a little to much, but always regret not getting enough. All the verticals use the same room and many are 110v. Sure 2 stage and 220v is better but then they get pricey. You can always tap into the dryer for the unit, did that for years.

I think we discussed this & his dryer wasn’t close. Maybe I need to drive to Lincoln and wire a 220v outlet for him.... and eat all his smoker/BBQ creations!

Kidney stones, well I guess this might not be in my best interest

Won’t hurt to discuss with your Dr. especially given the frequency of testing you probably under go.  As l stated, works great as long as you drink lots of water. I drank some Gatorade for good measure too.

Mike, what was the exact pill you took?

Dave/Ken, I will likely get rid of it in the next few months.  Plan to clay/polish and wax and replace the windsheild as there is a large impact damage spot and re balance the front tires.

I already have 2 peoples in line and the line will likly get longer, but going rate with all the mods seems to be $43K

If not, then that gives me an excuse to keep it.....

TRN - it’s called Osmoprep - I read the literature that came with it and it’s only drawback that I could see (aside from the legal language saying everything is bad and you’ll die) is that it can cause kidney stones especially if you’re prone to them.

Glad it went well, good for a few more years. I on the other hand get to go in every year.

Sorry to hear of the yearly necessity - might I recommend you ask your Dr. to prescribe the pill form of preparation?  Horse pills, but as long as you chase with plenty of water, way more pleasant then drinking the goup - my wife cried foul since she had the goup and said my route was WAY easier!

Well, the rectal recon went well- 2 small benign polyps removed. In & out quick. There at 7:15 for check-in and at Target grabbing coffee and odds and ends at 10.  Was OUT & awake like someone threw a light switch!  Nurse was a smart-ass which I appreciated - she was the one who ordered the extra large probe and 100ft. of cord so they could read my thoughts!  When she passed by after I was dressed with the next victim, I told her I left her watch on the counter in the washroom!

Must say that AFTER they get you in the room to do the procedure it’s a piece of cake- final humiliation is being wheeled out by a tiny girl in a wheelchair wide enough for a 600lb patient. That sucker scraped the side of the exit door!

Thanks for the prayers gents!

Heavenly Father, pave the road for Stewie’s family and their desire to adopt a child from the Ukraine and provide for each need as it comes along. Bless them Lord as they seek to share their love with a needy stranger half a world away.  In Jesus’ name, Amen!

I gotta be there at 7:15 am.  Now, being an educator, I learned from others mistakes and asked my Dr. for the PILL prep option - swallow 4 pills every 15 mins. for 5 cycles and drink 8oz. water (min.) each time and then 3-5 hrs. before procedure, repeat process for 3 cycles!  So far, easy peasy without any gagging!  :likebutton:

Being tortured by the liquid only diet today & watching Carpet installer’s and moving furniture around the house and stuff so they can get to all the places; good Lord the amount of dust that builds up behind things!  Was drove nuts for the better part of an hour all total trying to take care of this squeak in the bedroom floor! Thought  I had it licked then walked on top of the new padding where it was and had to cut an L then through the padding, peeling it back and tried some shims down in the crack with glue, screws and then some screws in between the seam where it was squeaking.  Hoping that when the wood glue finally dries it will be all taken care of.   Now going down to have a sumptuous lunch of Jell-O! I’m sure Nate will post something up that’ll make me hate him a little!

Was the perfect amount!   Later today I have to go and pick up a prescription for the dreaded colonoscopy!  As of Wednesday morning nothing other than clear liquids, that’ll suck! That won't suck.  It'll blow.

In Detroit visiting daughter after dropping dog off in Ohio.  Driving rental Silverado with a v6 and fuel management system. Not bad, but I wouldn’t own one- average HWY mileage close to 23mpg for trip so far.  It will get out of it’s own way but I wouldn’t tow with it. Might make a good LIGHT work truck tossing light bulky stuff in the bed, but definitely not anything heavy of any substance.

Drove to just West of Cleveland Ohio to have the competition dog Hank, reproductively Collected and stored for later breeding.  Rented a car for the trip and the rental place had an empty lot when I got there. They scrambled and came up with a black, gasser Silverado!  Has a 6cyl. with the active fuel management system which I’ll report on later today.

Hang in there Cruz!  Praying for you-

Today, I finished the basement stairwell project. Painted the bead board in that process kicked my backside! On my knees up and down a bunch taught me that I’m starting to fall apart. My right knee goes numb almost like Novocain when putting pressure on it and then go to get up!   Two coats on everything and learned that painters tape isn’t worth diddly squat on textured floor paint. The other paint wet underneath the edge!  Laid down 24 inch squares of industrial carpet - peel and stick. Also learned I will never become a professional carpet installer - that was almost as bad as painting!  Measure, cut, swear, do it over again. Installed the last trim pieces on top of the carpet and called it done. Those tubs are full of dog food if you’re wondering.

Glued the bead board to the concrete after trimming it to fit around angles of stairs. That’s why braces are along bottom etc.  The air powered Brad nailer is a great thing!  Tomorrow I’ll paint the new woodwork and trim, then put down peel and stick carpet squares for the landing.

Crappy weather got to me yesterday so I tackled a project I’ve been thinking about for about 8 years. Switch back stairway to the basement had to ugly concrete walls one of which that wasn’t true with the drywall wall. Went to Lowe’s and got beab board, air nailer, caulk, grippy floor paint and went to town on it. Today I painted the steps repairing 18 years of dogs running up the stairs! Painting was done from bottom of the stairs up, standing on one painting the one below as there’s no way out of the basement other than the stairs!  What a pain-

Deep State and Left Wing Loonies will NEVER acknowledge this as significant nor will they give Trump credit for anything.  Somehow, they will start giving credit to Obama and Bill Clinton as laying the groundwork for this event - they will give Denis Rodman credit for this before they give Trump ANY credit for this.  They'll be more likely to give HILLARY credit for this than Trump!
