At the direction of my buddy mechanic he suggested I add some grease to some rusty spots on my brake pads, the caliper brackets and other metal running surfaces.  Honestly have never used that little grease package that comes with pads.  So did one driver side tonight before the bugs came out.

Back issues are hard to deal with, just from the minor ones I've had.

Completed the other front caliper and pads.   Next going to drive out to the house and look at the tile installed, check the footage of the garage so I can get primer

Finished my mini x project with a front brush guard. It comes off by taking out 2 bolts on the bottom.
 ...and had it tinted

On the road again today.  Heading to Kentucky to see the Ark Encounter and the Creation museum.  Should make it to Big Bone Lick state park today where we will be camping for the rest of the week.

I’m only 10 minutes from the ark, let me know if you need to stretch your legs.
You’ll only be a little ways from big D up this way too.

It’s a prehistoric salt lick where they found mammoth bones and other dinosaur fossils. It was also used as a source of local salt production in early settler days.

I hope you used the whole name of the state park when you googled it, or at least have a good filter on your phone. :)

Took my required class and shooting qualifications required for CCL here in crookville USA!  Let’s just say I kept a close eye on a couple of goobers while shooting!  30 shots and nothing outside the 7 ring allowed.

It was 10 shots at 5 yards, 7 yards and 10 yards ..... still could have tossed the pistol through the hole when it was empty though!

You might poke fun, but lots of states have no target requirements and some only require you to hit the paper - anywhere!

Accuracy would be higher if they used your girlfriend’s face; don’t say ass because that would be minute of Texas accuracy!

I picked up a bunch of green beans to pickle. Then got a text from a friend who had a boat load of jalepenos from the garden. So spicy picked beans it will be!

not this time, I was only given a handful of some homegrown pickling cucumbers.  it will probably only make about 8 pint jars?

Thanks Bob, 12k lift should suffice I think maybe even pick up 6 wheeled red trucks..... Goal is to be fully moved in before we eat Turkey this year. That includes building a custom steel mezzanine to increase the sq footage of this place. The larger of the two is 1125 sq ft with two overhead doors. Kind of an L shaped unit, will fab and powder the mezzanine, make it a bolt together unit. It will sit in back of the left bay & lift will be in right bay. Then mill, lathe, welder etc will sit under mezzanine.

That looks great Sean. I just got two 12ton jack stands, does that count

Anyway, pulled a big root today for a pad for the pool heater. Redid a section of the new fence since the contour was not to my liking.

Dropped the axle on the 1500 and got the 9.5 on the M/C jack for welding pads and shock mounts.

Not sure if you guys have ever seen that show diesel brothers on discovery channel.   They actually drive this big trucks they build down the road.  People have them custom made from them all the time not on the show,   It’s not in common to see their Mega Ram Runner driving down the highway.  Pretty crazy large on 54 inch military tires

All tell the boss that farmer Jon and see what he says.

To many little fires going right now, then I got a bug last night. Felt like someone turned a switch off. Slept for 12 hours and going again, slower but going.

Pouring a 3x3 slab for the pool heater then hopefully get that 9.5 under the sub.
