Behind that piece of cardboard taped over the shadow box is a bat. It's been flying around the house for 2 days I finally figured out where it lives and I closed it in. I am not going to get rid of it myself I'm waiting for my exterminator brother-in-law to show up and do it. I am not touching that dang thing.

My Starlink is coming.

Don’t know if Phil had anything to do with it being so fast or not.
Placed my pre-order and was estimated 2023.
That was a month ago.

If you did Phil thanks, and if not still thanks.
Some real high speed bandwidth will be so nice.
For the record I’m on 7mbps feed currently.
There is one that is 50 and another that may get you 4-5.
I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb.  I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.

I know the feeling Sam. I'm paying $80/month for 6 but average 4. Can't watch anything high def.
I ordered Starlink several months ago and still no ship date but people in the middle of bfe come first, ie, people in the north pole.
Actually thought about moving to Ukraine to speed up the process.
...too soon?

Installed a 50 amp outlet in the garage, my sons bought a welder to play around with and build things. Also installed some book shelves in them main room of the house. These are 18 ft long and currently only hold about half of our books.  So I’ll probably be installing another set in the not too distant future.

Maybe too soon….
Not sure…
I know there was/is a bunch of us that pulled the trigger.
Maybe that helped, dunno.
I was actually ok with the year.
Was just over a month.
I’m excited about internet at the lake.
Netflix is hard on data on the phone. Lol.

On a whole different topic, had some junk crate wood. Hauled this and another load like it last week.

Busted it all apart yesterday and this morning.
Not fun but a pile of free wood always nice.
Greenhouse will be a go this year now.

Agreed. Took the oldest to Mizzou to tour the campus. She’s made the decision to attend their Journalism school.

Now back to the grind and to tell the snowflakes working at home is over. They will be required to come to the office for staff meetings and training 2 days a week.

We have 90% of our work force crying because they will have to come in 2 days a week starting next month. Last month we had a zoom meeting and our O6 wanted to recognize at E6 for a project he worked on. O6 told him to turn on his video and the E6 was sporting a full beard and long hair. I would guess about 8 months of growth. The O6 wasn't very impressed

But I’ll do some askin.   Hard to get food for the big groups.

The kids will be helping that same start up church they did last year. Mainly doing VBS, games and passing out snow cones in the park to get the church's name out.

I sure could have used that to reinstall the seal in my hydroboost the korrekt way...

Last night, did a 'normal' person...errr scratch that.
Last night, did an oil change for the normal type, the kind that is 5-6 gallons, and doesn't completely empty your wallet.

I did not bring enough Dex 6 so the trans only got new filter, oil looked number first still forgot how much i needed and at work, so no bueno.
7500 miles, so oil change on engine, was dirty...
Diffs were surprising clean for how long it had been (read far too long), but haven't been towing hard, so that matters.
Transfer case was surprisingly dirty, but I've totally neglected it since doing the pump rub...

Washed away all my power steering oil that had been leaking from the hydroboost, and i think I'm good for another 500K.
I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb.  I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.

Well, the shelves are full and still have enough books to fill two more shelves of the same size.  Heading to the west wall next to build a set around the piano.

Thats impressive Dave. I have a few, maybe 1/2 of 1 shelf.

Sam, since switching to the big cat oil filter and going semi-syn, I just use the DIC timing. Think it is 7500, but maybe 10k. Last time I checked it it was clean on the stick. Rear not as good since I have the possi.

Traded off the wife’s 4Runner for a Lexus ES350, she recently took a new job and is now driving quite a bit farther daily so we decided to get her back into a car. Last kid is also heading off to college in the fall and we’re technically empty nesters as far as kids go. Thus 3rd row seating is no longer needed or wanted.

Nice ride Shawn.  Still tops the reliability ratings.

Every time I lay tile I say the same thing.  “I’ll never do another tile job”. And I’m saying it again.

These tiles have a 1 inch bevel which makes them almost 3 dimensional and while laying is no big deal, grouting in a completely different story.  It’s impossible to get a good wipe with the float to get the excess grout off and it turned into a huge job

Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

Added another pair of stabilizers to the travel trailer. She’s a big girl, so it bounced a bit in the middle when set up due to the flex in the suspension. Not any more.

Cut these blocks and then attached them to the frame. Though about welding them but they seem pretty solid with the bolts I used. Fits just perfectly around the gray tank pipe.

Yes, I’m sure they’ll get some junk in them from the tires, but oh well.

Good addition there.  I always envied the auto hydraulic jacks on rigs.  Glad I didnt pay the 5k to retrofit mine…
