Talk about monster undercarriage. I take it this is a write off for the shop?
The other workable option for the rear is a Dana 80 swap when I go thru that axle. I have one from a F350 99-04 in the shop and measures 72” wms roughly. I have as well a 99-04 f450/f550 80 that measures 74.5” wms but hubs are 8 on like 200 or 225. I believe I can rob hubs from the F350 Dana 80 to get 8 on 170 or worst case weld and machine hubs to the 8 on 170 (also have to turn down the hub diameter a bit to fit 8 on 170 wheels then. Leaf spring mounts are correct on either axle.
Heck, why not ad a plate to both sides and make it so you can remove the crossmember and pull the pan?

That is a monster, love to see it run!
Nice job, looks cleaner too.
I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb. I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.
Nice touch. Am I the only one that noticed the redneck engine hoist. I AM a fan just shocked nobody said anything about TWO clamps and some square tube holding that behemoth up.
Looks good. Like I said. I did like the lift...just curious as to how No one had mentioned. I’m well known for sketchy well red-neck engineered solutions...
Doesn't even look that tight, nice work!Where is the adapter from?
Very nice, but it might need a brace. Fillet those welds!
Can you run the older style..the one that has a vacuum pump down there?I would assume the timing cover is set up for that configuration, or not?
Yep, that will rub some. What about out vs down? Looks like it will get awful close to the AC going down.Isn't there a PS pump that is gear driven you can get for the cummins? I just saw one on FB. Mine has it with I think a vacuum pump.
