Big wind storm in Bullhead AZ a couple days ago. Knocked down many trees and power poles. Slowly getting the power back on and without air conditioning it is not nice. Our place came through ok no power so will have to clean out freezer when we get back down there. Lots of roof damage and a few block walls around town and of course the temps in the 100+.
You said block walls?  Meaning the wind took them down!!?!!? Oh my. I wanted so badly to do a cinder block wall around my place. Wife said it would feel like a prison, kinda  compound what I had in mind honestly.

But for real they can blow over like any other fence?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Around here they use a lot of 4" wide, interlocking block with normal 8" single stack pillars every 10 foot. They only fill the pillars, and run a single strand of rebar (sometimes) under the top row of block. You could knock them down with a lawnmower.

a program running in the background will fire an explosive charge which separates the heavy copper bus cables permanently interrupting the power supply.

Yea I'd like to avoid anything resembling that in a vehicle myself or more importantly my wife/son and future kids may be in.
All modern vehicles have explosive charges in them Bobby. Not just the airbags, but also the seatbelts.

Dang Fred.

Been planning to move one of the sheds closer to the shop. It was previously an office used by previous owners, and it was out front by the street.
I decided to build a new fence, including a 2 block base to keep the shop from flooding again. The shed was in the way. It was also 6" in the ground. After digging around it and looking behind the metal siding, I realized how bad the termite damage was.

A before and after pic.

The AZ has no tint restriction so I assume that’s why Ken is so dark. DOT is why I did 35%

You should also do the windshield just a light color but still blocks the same amount of UV light.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yeah we have restrictions. They typically only check if you're pulled over for something else. As soon as I'm stopped I roll all the windows down and turn on the dome if it's dark out so they can see throughout the truck.

.. fronts are 25, rest 15.

Glad to hear you're doing better Fred.

That steak looks mighty yummy Sam.

I went to the hills with the boys, during the storm season. The place is beautiful during monsoons, just have to be careful. Yesterday we had a mountain oyster fry and while I was there having fun my buddy started sending me pics of the shop he was keeping an eye on for me. What a mess.

Him and my brother were down here til midnight trying to save what they could out of the office. I came home this morning and been cleaning up.

One pic is the front door of the office, one of a 35" tire, and the waterline on the highest connex.

Good question, but let me answer for Don. He's on the road to Arizona, or Idaho, to drop off the kabota.
He decided to donate it to me because I admitted that I would be destroying his machine, instead of "parking" it.

The unit i sent you had a shift motor on it. could very well be the issue. but i would still like an up in the air w/ all 4 wheels off the ground test. 2wd/4wd check driveline free spin, and verify front wheels spin in opposite direction not same.
I didn't remember you supplying the tcase. I thought he rebuilt it for some reason.

JR, a scanner can test the encoder motor.
It can also be used to compare the vss with the front wheel speed sensors while running on stands in 4wd or down the road.

So I had this mess for some time. It’s used packaging material that I recycle when I ship product I build in house. Most of this is from Tate honestly. So it was out of hand to say the least. Then last week I had an idea, what if I had a net?

So ten minutes and $35 later Amazon was shipping me a truck cargo net….

It arrived last night and first thing this morning I found a good spot outside of the overhead lights under my mezzanine. Best part is I can reach up and pull pieces thru the net as I need them. Up out of the way and semi organized.

One of the worst evaporators I've done. The dirt formed so many layers that it was falling off in clods, filling the case.

Ever heard of SANY?

They are a Chinese heavy equipment manufacturer who want to be China's Caterpillar corporation

I recently looked at buying a SANY excavator and found them to be top-tier.

Anyway, they filed two concepts with the Chinese patent office for an electric pickup truck to enter the market worldwide.

What do you think?

Sorry to hear Matt.

Don, Dave numeral dose did better at describing than me. As far as the numbers, he plans on around 6000 satellites around the world iirc. There's close to 3k now, that's why I had to wait for coverage in my area. They were targeting areas that needed it the most, like say middle of bfe Canada, first.

They just changed models of satellites to a laser coms style to make it work better. The first 2000 or so were more "basic" for lack of a better description.

All I know is that my address is a dead spot for local internet, including Verizon cell coverage.

Last night was the first time I've been able to watch a 1080 video at the same time my wife was watching a movie from Netflix. I've never been so estatic.

I just hope the dish can handle the heat. It has all the brains in it and there's been some negative comments online about them crashing during really hot days.
... But they have built in heaters for snow country.

2 ounces in the drier and the rest in the compressor. Just hand turn the compressor a few times before start up and you'll be golden.

Finally got decent internet. Been waiting almost a year.

Have any of you guys had issues with laundry not smelling good after a long day of sweat soaked cloths,

I wear a shirt soak it in sweat, wash it and the next time I wear it and soak it again it goes straight to stinking just as fast as I can say the ABC’s.  Iv tossed more then a few shirts because no matter how I wash them, with what ever chemical it always seems to have a funk so I toss it!

Anyone?

I don’t mind the heat these days. As long as I don’t get out of the truck lol

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Wife puts vinegar in the softener slot also.

I learned the hard way that the more expensive "stretchy" shirts don't like softener. It traps odor somehow and I've thrown out a few. Now only my pure cotton gets the softy stuff.

Picked up a new to me 2018 F250 Lariat Super Cab long bed today. Has the 6.7L with tow package upgrades and about 500 miles short of 15k on odometer.

Taking it to get a b&w gooseneck installed tomorrow since the local hitch place had an opening.

I think a female owned this, I would have said old guy but didn’t want to offend anyone here. Does not look like it’s ever towed anything and hardly ever been driven. Has the upgraded rear 2.5” receiver hitch installed factory and 10k payload upgrade.

First thing I did was pickup steel in it, would you expect anything less? I mean I’m sure Ken would have taken h for a ride but I’m not a fan of her…..
