What I really like about Ken is his frame of reference growing up seems parallel to mine......I was always looking for change on the ground so I didn’t have to beg to ride the horse outside the grocery store.....might have been grabbed by the hair for slipping in a second coin for an unauthorized re-ride a time or two!

So this Fri around midnight PST we are scheduled to launch Crew Dragon, thats 3am EST for the east coat clowns.

If possible please try to watch and if you have kids it will be historic for them to see, if all goes to plan the USA will be able to fly US astronauts on a USA made capsule and rocket to ISS.  This flight will be a dry run no people on board.

Is this live broadcast on youtube or where?  (for us southern clowns....)

Looking forward to our people not having to hitch a ride with the Russians....

Hmm, wonder why the shuttle program was stopped?

Yes it will be good to have our men on our ships!

I think it was because Obummer wanted NASA to focus on muslim outreach....

Definitely watch. Drag my kid also. I can't express how great it is to see AMERICAN technology back on US soil instead of hemorrhaging dollars to Russia.

Good job Phil

It has been a CRAZY ride I have been here almost 7yrs now I was hired specifically to help build the life support systems(got sucked into other things along the way)and it was reliving to see all the systems and components that so much time and effort had been invested work as designed!

A even greater appreciation of the people in the 50's and 60's that did everything with slide rule, pencil and paper.  really amazing what was build not so much the spacecraft but also the infrastructure to make it all happen.

Isn’t that the truth!?  More computing power in our phone and cars than Apollo or Spaceshuttle
Life support systems is a pretty heavy burden. Not that any of the other systems aren’t though.

Congrats again

Glad to be here on this site with an excellent group of people and I wish I could share more but as I am sure most of you are aware I have to follow big boy rules.

For tomorrow for those who want to watch,

https://www.spacex.com/webcast

https://www.nasa.gov/  coverage starts at 0200EST

And like TRN I am a true redneck with a third grade education!  AND i dont mind to have to lock my own hubs and if my driveway gets wet I will still park my truck there!
