Water or silicone based? Oh wait you meant for pulling wire!

Yeah, I’ve used it before but shouldn’t need it with a good tool. It was going ok until tool decided it didn’t want to reel in any longer and jammed up. I also used a wire calculator app so we should be good pulling this amount of wire thru this diameter tube.

I’ve found lube helps on any pull. I pulled three 1-0 cables through 1-1/2 inch conduit more than 140 ft by myself without kinking my tool

You can't use string?

You mean rope? My experience with rope is a first time pull of wire. We did that with large three phase cable and a forklift before. However, my cable is smaller and pulling by hand. First pull (6 ga x 3) is done now I have two more runs to pull so getting rope back in there would be tough.

Do you have a large box of string? You can use it, a plastic bag, and compressed air to blow through with the other lines in the conduit. Then you attach your rope pull it through, then wire. Yes it’s an extra step but it may help...

The plastic bag creates a kind of seal that the compress air pushes on and pulls your bailing twine type string through.

That's exactly what I meant ^^^
Much quicker. Size of string/rope dependant on size of cable, still using small string to pull larger rope through if necessary.
If you can't blow it through, use a vacuum to suck it through.

I knew what you guys meant & have done that on larger conduit w/ no wire already in it. Thinking the 3 pieces of 6 ga wire already in there would give me an issue currently. I did pick up a new 75’ fiberglass reel this morning for $76 out the door at Lowe’s. Had a $10 coupon off any $75 purchase that expired today so timing was right.

So I picked up at axe head at the farm the other day,  it was sitting in a dark corner with no handle.
Wire brush says it’s a nothing special as it’s not branded.  I decided to clean and polish away.   I know it’s voodo to polish and sand old things but. It’s what I want. Shiny!!

My plan is to put the sander to it more and remove most if not all of the putting and polish it all up to 2000 grit and sharpen and add a handle.  Handle maybe some carving and of course some custom color from the paint shop

Meeting countertop guys tomorrow to get rolling on the granite for the casita.

With my ankle surgery I was told 6 months to a year to get back to normal. It really took 2 years and now at 3 I actually feel pretty good. Now mine was a full rebuild (bones, tendons and such), not soft tissue only.

Good luck either way.

It will be once these new tires wear down a little bit. But than it’s time to buy new tires so it just stays where it’s at.  The new wider wheel spacing doesn’t rub my control arm anymore but rub everything else

Fixing up the place to put on the market to sell - paint, new granite counters, under counter sink in the kitchen.  Set it all up a month out so wife can take two days off in a row.  Counter install yesterday, then supposed to follow with plumber next day after adhesives dry etc.  I sent detailed picture of undercounter situation so plumber knew what was needed.  Today, plumber shows with 2 hours scheduled - yep, the counter guys didn't send info to plumber and old drain is too high to re-install without lowering drain behind wall.  Can't get done today - earliest Monday.  NOT HAPPENING as work thing is what pays for this stuff!

Brother, a plumber to the rescue and told the counter place to refund install charges as they screwed the pooch!  People have become so STUPID that companies can't even plan properly for a common procedure without a screw-up.  This is with me knowing ahead of time that this wasn't just a re-attachment job!  If it was, I wouldn't PAY to have it done!  At least plumber they sent pointed out a few other screw-ups with attaching the dishwasher - counter install of attachment bracket screwed up so it wouldn't even have worked correctly!  So we're sinkless until Sunday afternoon some time!

What do average people do when they have no clue what's going on, considering someone with half a brain (me) plans ahead to prevent screw-ups and it STILL is FUBAR?

Can't remember if I showed these pics before but I finished another piece to the Idaho trip puzzle...a fuel transfer tank.
My good friend,  that's going along to help, is also a truck driver. He came up with a refer trailer fuel tank ... aluminum, and 50 gallon.
Truck holds 57, so in theory I should only have to fuel one time in 1400 miles, and still have enough to keep the mini x fueled. (Main purpose of extra fuel)
.. added a 20gpm pump with a RV trailer plug, and an adapter with alligator clips just in case my trailer plug fuse blows. Had to weld in a 2" bung and reinforced it for the weight of the pump.
Then welded on channel to fit a forklift.
..and made a bar that will clamp the tank down to the truck bed via the B&W goose neck receiver.
Also upgraded the nozzle to automatic, green in color, and some swivel fittings. The straps are in case I want to load it with the excavator.

Thank you sir. Been using it at the shop for a few months, waiting on building the mount..pretty handy. Few weeks ago I bought a 100 gallon tank, room on top for my toolbox, with same 400.00 pump I had just bought, and a gallon counter for 2 bills. ..then realized my wheel wells were in the way. Dang short bed. Lol
