Went for a little ride in this today. First civilian helicopter I have been in was fun. The owner/pilot is the owner of Round House overall to my knowledge only US made overalls on the market. For Don it is an R66 turbine

Got the siding on a couple weeks ago, today I painted. That chapter is finally done.

Come by and visit anytime 30 min to dusk. you'll fill your tag in 15 min from the back porch, then we can have a scotch and a cigar. They are congregated out on the edges of the water hazards on the golf course each night, 20-30 plus, does, yearlings, fork horns and a handful of stags in the peripherals. it reminds me of dropping into the Okanogan valley headed to Pearrygin lake at dusk; hundreds of white tail flanking HWY 20. so many we lost count. that's what it's like at the baseball field at the grade school.

Speaking of bucks, saw 3 nice ones last time heading up to the ridge. Pulled off at Gold run just before dawn and all 3 were together just munching out.

Got the 75 back from the dealer after waiting near 2 months for new injectors. It barely has 200 hours on it. I guess Kubota got a bad batch of injectors. Even the replacements were bad and had to be sent back.

Chinese?

I didn't ask. All I know is the dealers supplier had to send back multiple batches because they didn't pass their testing brand new out of the box.

Just toss this out there. My single din CD player just crapped out in the work truck

No where has anything worth it’s weight in sand.

Anyone have anything laying around

I’ll pay for shipping and the unit if it fits the bill of Bluetooth and not some Walmart brand

Kenwood DNX 5190 with navigation

I gave it to my son when I put an Alpine in

He is selling it

I think he is asking $200-$250

If you wanted it, the deal would be between you and he...

Put the bags on the truck.
What a pain.
Not the bags. My wheels.

They haven’t been off in I think three years… yeah that kind of bad.

Took truck to work.
Got out the enerpack stuff.
Hydraulics and hammers for the win.

I’m driving it every day.
Running good.
I think the coolant is done burping.
Soon I’ll trust it I think.

My only wish was that I’d done it while the exhaust was off.
Overall wasn’t too bad tho.
Just 300k of gravel on the bump stop bolts.

I'm sad

On the drive to my farm there has been this 1971 K20, almost 100% stock sitting in a driveway with tags on it

For years

The owner drove it as his personal vehicle

I watched and waited

Then this spring, a new silverado was parked in the same spot!!!!!!!!!!!

Way too much chrome and well, just an unimaginative new Chevy.

No signs, ever, nada

Just sitting there on Sunday, gone on Monday

I am so sad...

Atta-boy Ken!
Glad I could help spend your money Boss!

Decided to get the ole 5 ton running again. Last thing I did was manually clean the injectors. I was supposed to pull the 80 gallon tank and clean it, so that's what I'm doing now.
What a mess! I've never seen diesel sludge this bad. Pure black slimy tar.
What I didn't know is that if you drain the fuel and let it dry for 2 months, that it becomes hard and impossible to remove. I ended up filling with gas and soaking for a few days. That kinda softened it but wouldn't desolve it.

Tried everything from laquer thinner to several types of solvent. No go.
Finally got some fresh carburetor dip (the nasty stuff) and it is working. Got it clean enough to find out the tank is stainless (couldn't tell before). Can't wait to try cleaning the rest of the fuel system. I have a couple gallons of Xylene to try out.

So, I guess this "sludge" is called ashphaltene, and it's worse than ashphalt. Never heard of it until this experience.

Xylene is great stuff, hard to find here.

TRN, nice work, but still a little big unless you have lots of friends and ice (JMHO).

Don, maybe he is just driving it?

Guys, its only a 110qt ice chest.  I guess the photos make it look bigger?  It’s certainly not the 350

Lol. Had a friend with the $1300 yeti 350 on a rack behind his truck. Well his aftermarket exhaust with no air inlet melted it when it went into regen on the way home from a hunt

Personally I can't see spending the $$ on yeti. For 1/3 the price you get 90% the same cooler.

I bought mine years ago, like 10-15 and there wasn’t knock offs back then. However, I was able to buy end of year from a stocking dealer who sold them at cost.

Yep, real low 30s maybe 45-50 during the day in Sylvania Wilderness. I'll try to get some photos together and do a write up. But I went tech free, no smartwatch, left my phone on airplane mode then turned it off.

Built a huge bridge over an even larger, Arizona river.

Actually a pathway to the mailbox on the far side of the road. Neighbor made the original one out of scrap 2x4s and it failed after 12ish years. Luckily no one injured from such a massive drop.

This one is made with railroad ties.
Underpaid and misunderstood since 2014
