Do you really think they would use that WiFi name??

How do you like that 365? That is one of the few 9mm that really has me thinking. Need to be creative to get it here though, but it can be done legit.

JR - I really like the 365 so far. Compact and light. 12 rounds of 9mm. Shoots extremely well even with a novice like me. I checked several casing and I didn't see any of the pin drag on the primer that seems to be the Youtube rage. After I change the mag release button and get more time on it I will let you know if that changes. I paid $519.00 and an extra $43.00 for the 12 round mag. I had sold my Sig 232 380ACP to change to this.  :likebutton:

FINALLY! got out to the range after over 3 years of not shooting. Sighted in my Sig716 .308 that I have never shot since new. It only took my 100 rounds. That was a couple of fun hours.

Then moved to my new Sig P365. Shot around 50 rounds in it. Was running out of daylight. I have to say I'm newbie to pistols but for a short barrel it shot very well. I only had one problem with it. It is small and I'm left handed. The magazine release button is on the left side. I think I was squeezing too hard and was on the button. Then when one round was trying to eject the magazine was not seated and so it didn't eject and the new round fell out while the magazine dropped out. All the while there was some smoke coming out of the mag well. Checked and everything was fine after that and ran another 25 rounds through it with no problems. I will definitely have to switch the mag release button to the right side. Also checking the spent cases I didn't see any strike pin drag at all.  :likebutton:

So fun few hours.
Nate, Thanks for rotating the pics. Not sure why it did that. They looked fine on my computer but were taken with my iPhone.

Definitely for CC. But now I was cleaning the guns from the range last night and was looking in my ammo closet and I have 1000 rounds of .380 the guy didn't want. Plus I have left handed holsters that no one would want. Can't do much about the holsters but I was looking a Glock 42 to burn up the .380.  Hmmmm

Than let’s stick with me wearing pants and my beautiful wife wearing business suits and the like.  I’ll stick to knowing who really has the control in all of our lives.  The reason Tex has a hide/carribian island, Dons hated mansion, the ford mustangs and such.    We can pretend al we want.   I know the truth.  Momma is the queen.

I forgot to post last night.....old age or something....

Yesterday I spent some time before noon welding up a little frame to set a sprayer tank in my wife's Jeep CJ-5
35 gallon tank, 5.0gpm pump, a hand sprayer/boom combination that can spray a 10' swatch. It worked rather slick, and comes on and off with two bolts.

I then jumped on the mighty Exmark and mowed some lawn. I then mixed up some Tenacity and sprayed 3.5 acres with the Jeep. Mission accomplished.

After that little adventure, I put the trailer on the back of the Jeep and ran to town and got 6 4x8 sheets of green board for the bathroom project.

My wife arrived home around 2pm from work. She tempted me with a pillow, so we shared a 45 minute snooze. Then... we ran out to the hanger and grabbed the Ramcharger and took it down to my shop in town.

It was then home for some supper (50/50 cheesburgers on the grill) , roughed in the wiring in the bathroom, and a visit from Mom and our Grandson so he could show me his bow and arrow he made.

After they left,Kay and I sat on the front porch and shot steel targets at 100 yards with the .270 I recently rebarreled. Then the kids arrived home from work and eventually went to bed.

No cross dressing, or anything fun like you all

The boss man bought some more cattle so we have been making fence. Putting part of the feed lot back together. Other than that been pretty quiet around my neck of the woods. We are going on a little fishing trip this weekend with another couple. No kids. This will be the first real world test of the generator I installed on the freightliner. Boondocking along the Niobrara river in north central Nebraska. We will be close to a campground so If it fails we can always go pay for a plug in. Id rather stay next to the river.

We originally planned on going to the state fair this weekend but didn't plan ahead soon enough. There is no place to park. My wife literally got laughed at over the phone when she asked if there any spots left. I guess they rented out spots that are not spots. They are packed in like sardines. Not my idea of fun.

Oh and in other news. Most of you know my mother in law moved in with us. She just had her first appointment with the surgeon about getting a hip replacement. She gets it done in 2 weeks. I have never seen her so happy. The Drs in Kentucky have been messing around for 2 years. Try this shot. Try this pill. You are too young. Bla bla bla.

This guy came in and says yea its almost the worst I ever seen. You need a new hip. See you in 2 weeks. The nurse will fill you on the details.

Jon.... the parking at the state fair even for a pickup is at best a mess. I swear that entire fair ground was designed by a blind Homer Simpson.

The Niobrara river is a beautiful place, great fishing and rafting. One of Nebraska's better kept secrets. Hope you have a great weekend. What do you think of the new raised speed limits in Nebraska?

The only reason we wanted go to the fair was I haven't been there since they moved it. My wife has never been. Maybe next year. Typically only go once every 4 to 5 years.

As far as the speed limit goes I like it. I usually drove 3 over anyway so I just bump up the cruise 2 more. I can see more accidents coming during harvest. People won't be use to the extra stopping distance required for the increased speed. Especially when they catch up to farm equipment the highway. Pretty hilly in my area. You can fly over a hill and out if nowhere there's a tractor and wagon.

We are headed to Spencer. We will be fishing below the dam. Never been disappointed. Except that one year all we caught was carp. That was still fun. They fought like crazy. My arms were wore out. We caught a bunch of em.

Dave, I have to agree with “someone” as we have TOO many people in today’s society clueless about functioning on their own.  She will learn life lessons that cannot be taught: must learn via Hard Knocks College and their satellite school I Told So University.  Good news is when/if anything serious comes up, easy rescue run for you or “someone” without hours of driving or a expensive flight.

I don’t disagree with her being on her own.  I think here are more cons to her being as close as she is.   The talk of home for dinner has already had to be squashed twice
I just know that it will be a continual battle to keep her being self sufficient otherwise our house will be a crutch not a sufficient learning experience

I might not be building cedar chairs like Don but I know how to fix great grandmas rocking chair that no one else wanted.   She was a short wide lady and I think the chair will look awesome sprayed with some rubberized undercoat spray or something sitting in my garage.  Going to carve the back to say “ B$&@en Chair” for when ya just need to sit down and think.

Next up today was my good buddy @ A&M lawn asked me yesterday when I was going to get the new to me snow blower that I purchased end of season last year from him and he has stored all summer for me.   He thinks he needs space for new inventory for this winter.  Made him deliver it.  Now it won’t fit into the back door so I have to move the trailer or..... leave it in the garage for three more months till winter shows up

Clean unit for sure

Mowed the lawn and got yelled at by grandma and the wife.  Not supposed to lift more than ten pounds

busted arse today.  Up at 5 and out working in the casitan by 7.  Trying to get it ready for sheetrock.  Finishing the knee walls, drop ceiling, nailing boards.  Talked with Nate about the brisket I have on and hope to pull it by 8  to get back to houston by 10. Have family coming over for bible study.

Ran the kids all over, had the oldest mow the lawn and sold 2 little kayaks.

Put a new prop on the boat, saw mom and started cleaning the garage and shed again. Wife complained the pool was cold, guess I need to fix the solar.

Watching Armageddon with the oldest boy now, love Willis.

Attempted to change out a few hydraulic lines on the mini x. I gave up after failing to fully remove the cab. Said to heck with it, put it back together, and vowed to never curse cars again for being difficult to work on...but did spray paint some of it to make it purdier and fixed 20 other things.

Then I dug a waterline trench for practice, and dug up some trees at my buddy's place.
