Got back from elk hunting, or elk viewing more like. Thought I was in Sam's back yard for a minute. 13-25f. Constantly blowing 15 with gusts up to 40. Not fun for this desert rat.

1200. We narrowed it to 560 when he decided to bed down for most of the day. Buddy went in and spooked him at 50 yards (was pretty thick cedars) Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk

It's a part of my new Jeep. I thought I would hate it, but if the truth be known, it isn't bothering me at all.
Here's the cool part I learned when researching the feature.
Engineers have long known that engine wear, occurs primarily at startup. Steady-state invokes zero wear except for cycling of valve springs, and wear on some seals. So, to create a scenario where the motor will be starting/stopping hundreds to thousands of more times than was normal years ago, they actually increased the durability of the motor. Chrysler is forthcoming on their engine, summarizing the redo as a "High-durability engine." So with that little feature came a redesign and rethink of the motors to still give very long service while having to absorb the effect of thousands of additional cycles. (A cycle is one start and one shutdown).
That has to be the biggest load of horse crap I've ever read. Insult aimed at author, not Don. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk

If those things get to you soon enough have them sprayed when you do the bed liner.
Good idea! They did mine for free when I went back for a warranty redo. Color matched. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk

Made it to Idaho and back. Picked the wrong time I guess. 200 miles of snow and ice south of SLC and 150 miles of bad ice north of Idaho Falls. The new headlights were shining into the cabs of semis on the opposite side of a divided freeway causing over half of them to flash me. They had zero since of humor. Had to run into the nearest city to buy standard bulbs for the trip home. The mice were still in the trailer. Put sheet metal around the RV tires and jacks. Also added flashing 12v Christmas lights and several bucket traps. Also, my truck turned 100,000 near pocotello and at that exact moment my air pump grenaded, dumping the air tanks instantly, causing a stain in the driver's seat. Not sure how some of you guys live in snow country. Yucko Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk

Very nice ride^^^ Until now I've never seen aftermarket headlights work as good as factory, as far as light patterns go. I installed these without any adjustments. I'm very happy with the results, and looking forward to using them next week on a quick trip to Idaho. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk

Well, I’ve been told there is a bear every square mile up here and as many big cats. The only thing my neighbor hasn’t seen on our property is a bear, yet.
About a mile up the road here a couple months back a guy had 7 mountain lions in his back yard. That made the paper even, I think 7 constitutes a pride maybe?
Did they have a rainbow flag?

Do you have a local hardware store like we do in Clark Fork? They have literally anything a person might need. Lumber, chainsaws, plumbing, etc etc. ... although I don't remember seeing ammo, nor the tools required to use it.

I've been watching the weather up there. Noticed St. George got hammered. I see north of you getting snow all the way to my place. Fixing to pass through next Wednesday for a quick trip to check on the RV before winter. If the mice (or bear) have set up shop again I'm going to bring it home. If it looks good, I might bring the excavator home instead. Really hate to do that. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk

Mine can't be much newer. 2 stroke?
Yeah. At lower RPMs it would actually start jumping in the air 6-10" with no good way to wrestle it, let alone try and get to the throttle, or the kill button, or the choke, or ...... Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk

Will try that but may pull it off first and clean good. I sprayed, whiped, cranked on the blades
No codes and I ran a new scanner on it yesterday.
Tell you what, I really like the MBRP exhaust. Gotten several comments on it.
I wouldn't spray directly into the Tbody unless you want to buy a new one. Sounds like you did it right, just a good wiping with a wet rag. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk

Simplier than that for me. A part of the disc has broken off and is lodged in the spinal canal. They will remove that, then in the surgeon's words, smooth everything up and it's fixed.

I told you what volts to see, and Tex showed you a cheap amp checker.
Only other way is to have an amp meter high enough to to measure max output of the charger, and a load just as high, basically shorting the leads together in a safe manner.... Like the tester Tex recommended.
Why do you care about amps? If it's making voltage there's a great chance it's working.

1500? Jeez
You won't be able to test amperage easily. Don't use your meter to try . Just look for 15-18 volts coming out to know if it works.

Insurance said no constentine wire. They didn't say anything about electric wires or broken glass tho.

Put an offer down on a piece of property in Troy, MT this morning. Wife accepted a job in Libby, MT last evening. Been moving personal stuff to storage all day. Tomorrow is last day to move a few things then clean the house. We close on sale of home Monday. Fifth wheel living for us for at least a couple weeks.
We’ve prayed profusely over this whole deal. We’ve left it in Gods hands to open doors and although it has been stressful at times he’s in control and everything is lining up.

^^^ good point .
Edit: to expand on that, I, like all of us here, appreciates well made items. Whether it's a tool, a piece of furniture, or a perfectly straight brick wall.
When I received the Starlink system the first thing I noticed was the physical quality. The heft of the routers, and the quality of the power/data weather resistant cords. I should've taken pics.

That auto pilot is pretty cool. I really like the way the display shows you the vehicles 360 degrees around you.
Tesla makes a perfect 2nd or third vehicle. It’s like having a 1911 to go a long with your glock, AR and 870. Won’t stake your life on it but its a great addition to the stable…

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Agree. Just like the general population. The more they get squeezed and the good guys retire, more of the less desirable people will get hired. Who wants to deal with the crap they've been receiving for the last decade? The less qualified, or the guys with Hitler complexes? And yes, I've been harassed by a couple, but the good professional ones are the norm. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
