Turns out the number 22 is pretty significant

There is the F22 Raptor, the worlds best fighter
The .22 long rifle is the world's most popular rifle and cartridge
The Marines fly the V-22 Osprey, the world's only in service tilt rotor aircraft
It's the title of a Taylor Swift song
There is a Glock 22 our police carry
And a Ruger 10-22, which is the world's most popular semi-auto rifle
Chromosome 22 if affected causes a host of bad things to happen
I have a daughter who is 22
Another was born on the 22nd day of a month
The 22 Amendment, recently in the news limits the terms of a president to, 2
In Numerology (Horoscope), 22 is the most powerful of all numbers
There is a Deutermony 22:22 that sent men to their deaths
And a Psalm 22 which questioned God
We watched or heard of "22 jump street"
There is an interstate 22
The kings scored twice in 22 seconds

and

22 veterans take their own lives every day...

That last one is the one that needs fixing.
That is 22 to many, and a real shame that it 'seems' to be 'insignificant' to the powers that be. Yes they acknowledge it, but far too little is being done.

I think our number is five, and we're in the same boat far to little being done.
I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb.  I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.

Yes, it is sad, while we have 47million people on food stamps.  Scratch that.  I'm sick of it being called that.  Its a government credit card.  While our brave soldiers suffer in silence until they can't take it any more.

I'd like to plug a group that I believe does some good things for veteran soldiers.  Ride2Recovery.com

They get vets engaged in cycling and challenge them to complete 6 day rides all around the country.  The one my company and I support in Texas is 447 miles in 6 days from Houston to Arlington.  I've ridden with some great soldiers who flat out said they'd be dead if it weren't for R2R.

Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.
