Couple issues with the Lambda platform… (at least with the 2011 Acadia we had)

Steering rack
Head leaks oil into the spark plug tubes

They don’t get the best fuel mileage from a V6 (do any of them??) and I agree a turbo would’ve been amazing. Other than those things it was a nice rig. Yours is even nicer I’m sure cuz it’s a Buick :)
My understanding is the trans, rack issues got fixed in 2012, the steering in this one feels lots smoother, trans is yet to be seen. I replaced one in our last traverse.

I think a turbo v6 would do wonders in this platform.  They are kinda heavy and a little power multiplayer would go along ways I think

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Motor/trans problems were fixed in late13 early 14. viscous coupler at the rear diff can be an issue, but not if you keep up on maintenance. like Ken once told me, clean the direct port system and replace spark plugs, change oil and don't drive like a Schifthead. ( Ok I might have added that last part)

Got our beef today. Got an angus steer. Hanging weight was 1,240 lbs paid $3,100 plus $1,105 for processing. For a total of $4,205.
If my calculations are correct that is $3.39 a lb.

Nice looking steak. Should be very good meat. That much bad beef lasts a long time.

My brother’s wife decided she needed a new car because their 2009 Honda Pilot had a couple of issues. The transmission won’t shift into overdrive and the cabin heat doesn’t work.
So it has joined my small fleet of vehicles, it’s the EX-L with 188k miles, 4wd, and in pretty good condition. She said she got taken by a con artist when she was having computer issues with it and he took her money and her car. When she eventually got it back the computer issues were gone but the transmission issue had appeared. They didn’t want to pay money for a replacement transmission so they gave it to me.  Ill pull codes tomorrow after church, a friend is bringing his scan tool. I’ll poke around and probably start a separate thread depending on what it needs.

Fuel prices around here are over $6 gallon, I saw $8+ going to reno this weekend. I paid $5 at costco up there.

Filling and bringing back what I can. Will always use it!

Stopped in Paris texas and saw the memorial there next to the Eiffel Tower.

Pretty impressive and it’s for the residents of the 5 counties who served. Some areas have benches for families showing multiple generations and where they served.

I find this interesting (Alarming??).

I pretty much made all this happen.

I have never changed my configuration

And on my computer, I am now on page 666 and looking at 500 views from 1,000,000

That's pretty amazing, don't you think?

1,000,000 is a milestone to be sure. And this website seeks to honor God in all we do. But the devil got this little reminder in there to mess up my day.

Conclusion: We must be doing something pretty doggone right for the evil one to show up in this way!

So, here's how I'm gonna treat this one:

Satan: I rebuke you and all the demons and evil players you control. Jesus is my king of kings, and in his name I rebuke you and offer a prayer of blessing in the name of Jesus to all who regularly gather here. May they be blessed, protected, and further encouraged to stand on the rock of the lamb against all that is evil. Allow us to remain a beacon of light in a dark world...Amen!

Got a bunch of junk crate lumber to haul tonight.
Nice and warm.

But at less than 180 from the big one mil mark, dunno. Think we need a bunch more posts before we get a whole bunch of views...
