13,506 Marines applied for White House Detail last week. None applied over the last 8 years, they had to be assigned!....Go figure

That's because they took an oath to protect the US against "ALL enemies, foreign or DOMESTIC" so they no longer are forced to ignore that oath!

No real surprise there (and double that if he gets to escort Melania anywhere! ha!).

When I read of how the Clinton's and Obama's treated their Secret Service details and likely too these men it turns my stomach.

I love the stories about George HW Bush bringing a hat to a SS guard in the winter at their home in Kennebunkport ME. He walked down to the guardshack and told the man to put it on that it was cold. The guard politely declined as it was "out of uniform", George told the man that he better put it on as he didn't want to disregard an order from the First Lady. Or W not going to Texas for Christmas bc he didn't want to take his security detail away from their families. Class from the get go.

Seeing the high regard that Trump holds our troops I am sure he will be treating his details similarly.
