Nate's being dirty...American Pie dude.

5452
He was on the brakes Hard....definately wasn't trying to run the roadblock.

I'm trying to figure out why they lit that truck up the way they did.

Got it....Those feds must be distant cousins of the ones who took down Bonnie and Clyde.

5453
Good job. Looks great as well.

^^^ Menses, I think we got Ken a bit agitated here ^^^^^

No one on this sight agitates me, and probably never will. But I can dish it back now and then!

Open carry without retention invites someone to take your gun and shoot YOU with it...

Just sayin...

So, if i carried it into a mall, to help pull you out of a mulch bed, and some lowlife walks up behind me, that I completely ignore because I (ken) believes everyone  at the mall must be a Saint and are just there to pick out a new air freshener for their wifes dressing area, and that nice person (that may or may not speak english) might need my gun more than myself, decides to yank that gun (which will typically be under a shirt) out of my holster, which will also require him to pull directly upwards (because it won't come out at a sideways angle).......so if this nice fellow decides to do this, and Ken has a strap holding the gun in, his plan will be foiled? Is that what you in's is sayin'? ...and you think that if I ever need to pull it out in a hurry, that I am coordinated enough to unstrap it, slowing me down that extra micro second...

.....heck I'm still trying to get my shirt out of the way!!!!!!! hahahahaa

Again, for those that can't read (DON), I don't open carry in public. But if I did, the gun would not be strapped.

The holster is for in the field use only, not around people. It also would be tough for someone to grab, with the extra leather up top...not impossible, but difficult.
A good "grabber' could pop a strap fairly easy as well, imo.

What kind of retention, a strap? The kydex isn't good enough?

I'm blaming Kyle for this purchase. That's right, it's his fault for talking up this company, so I just had to get a new holster for the Colt. I don't have much , uhh, well, cushion, so I went with a conventional OWB style.
I can't wait to break it in....because it should be named SuperStiff instead of superslide ! Oh, and it's the plain black cowhide.

5462
That's a slow turner there

I wouldn't necessarily say that...you see the size of that motor pulley!!

Then I fixed a hydraulic leak at the reservoir.....twice. They want $126.00 for a new tank, $400.00 for a new assembly......so a $2.00 o-ring , then $5.00 worth of sillycone the second time seemed like the right way to go:

Just an update on this. The silicone and new o-ring didn't last. I ended up replacing the entire assembly. Now, the hydro hoses going to the large slide out are leaking....that won't be any fun at all. uggg

Other than that, we've made a few trips with "Mongloid" and it's done really well.

I noticed this line in the first link: "It's a tasking by the federal government and the Department of Defense, so Holloman (base) and Alamogordo (Chamber of Commerce) really has no say in this."

Bobby, you know what they say about Texas...has something to do with steers and something else...icr. hahaha

Now Az on the other hand, doesn't have as many steers, and it was also in the 70s today. I'm sure we can round up a job for ya out here. No pun intended.

Hmm. Not sure how that works (mine). Don't see a check valve, but a local (competent) compressor shop converted this one.

5476
2 stage, 2 piston, but I forgot to mention it was a gas compressor converted to 3hp electric.

On mine, that tube runs from the crankcase to the intake side of the head, just like the pcv on a car, sucking out the blowby.

was more interested in pics of the wallhanger....

That sounds promising, but also a bit pricey. Haven't I read somewhere about using washer fluid? Maybe the alchohol content is too low?

I'm a big fan of the 7mm....so much so that i have 2...for hunting and sometimes for range day. They've taken bull elk at 300ish yards, and a deer at 600.
...but I'm also with these guys on the 308. It's cheaper at the range, and if you've never killed at long range (500 plus) I would recommend lots of range time to ensure accuracy for humane kills.

Nate, have you seen it? Was curious if the base was really Bliss. They had a mission into Juarez from Bliss.

I've read some negative comments .....people say it's just a remake of The Man in the Wilderness and Richard Harris did a better job in the first one.
At least it's based on a true story.

I might disagree slightly....
We went from a 1600 to a 3100 sq ft house with a family of 6 (4 girls) and the daily bickering deminished substancially. Everyone just needed a little breathing room. It got even quieter when 3 left for college. lol
