nice, did one of the JD tractors get used as a trade in for spud.......or is this one going to be called private?
About time how many lawnmowers with loafers ago did we recommend this? Where’s ash when you need him?
so "private" is out of the question? because you know as well as I do that what you are about to ask of this thing is exactly what is asked/expected of a private......you have been there done that got the t shirt.....HAHAHAHA

A skid steer is a skid steer and it is not a Sarge, take it a little easy on the poor thing.

Those are nice machines, use it as it is designed to work and it will last many years. Abuse it and you can drag it over and park it in the non running line.
Don,you've got me looking and I've looked at a few of those models and they have different lifting capacities. Are their options for lift hydraulics capacities or is it just the different year models I've looked at?
On a serious note:When you DO decide to try and use it like a chainsaw, DON'T - They make a hydraulic cutting claw - equipment company might have one you can rent and attach to "Spud" and use it to shear cedars and SMALL trees off at the base instead of trying to run/ruin your new brush cutter thinking it's a buzz-saw!
Very nice purchase. I am patiently awaiting the CARep. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

The extreme cutter is rated to cut 10" material!!!!!!!!!That's all day long mowing trees with a 10" caliper! It weight over 2,000 lbs, has a flywheel made of 1" thick high strength steel and can even cut up fence wire. Takes trees all the way down to the ground and turns the whole tree into mulch in seconds. One amazing cutter!

Darn nemesis stuff will be everywhere now and you may be lost to never be heard from again. Wait isn’t that what happened to sq d?
That looks like a nice machine. Way better than our gutless case.Sent from my P008 using Tapatalk
So, Bobby...being the calculating trained warrior NCO that you are. Take the appropriate action, Execute!
your standard grunt level CQB is just putting rounds and rounds on scary stuff till it stops scaring you!
I see this post and immediately think of the paperwork I'd have to do when I train someone on skid steer useage.
I can almost read his epitaph from here:"Hold my beer, I got this".~~Don H.
Have to bring some of you apprentices in to run some of these toys.
Can you cover the portion on how to keep it off it’s lid for us?
Very nice acquisition, Don. What is your main goal for it? I didn’t read all the posts so I may have missed it. Good thing you got the enclosed cab, that is the best way to go for sure. If not for heat or cold, for thick dust that covers EVERYTHING. That’s going to be a fine machine for you. I have sooo many used for a skid steer at the property. They are one of the most versatile tools Ive ever used. When are you painting it Armee Green?
Just making sure I don’t start a duplicate thread etc. There isn’t already a pool going for the date when he first puts this on its lid? If not I’ll be happy to start that thread and oversee the pool......
I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb. I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.
