I used a coupon and got the HF 20 ton.  I show all the gory details of pressing ball joints and bushings on it in my Bus build thread
Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

That's what made me believe you purchased one, took the truck yesterday to get some prices to have a shop do it. Everyone was over $1000 and I can get parts for about $600 so I'll save the cash and buy some cool tools

I used it for more than it was designed for.  A Ford front wheel hub finally killed it.
A 20 ton is what you want for bushings. ...sounds overkill but it isn't.

You'll be happy with that.  Be aware you need a lot of different die, cup, bar, rod, whatchamacalits to press things in and out.  I was able to use some stuff I already had, but you may need to get some stuff

Picked up some plant material and 30 bags of mulch and trimmed some ivy on the fence in the back and started spiffing the beds in the back of the house.  Mowed, edged and blew some leaves.

Tired now.

Went to a 120hp tune and make my own bio 20%. (5gal soy to into a 52 titan tank) and I run wally 2cycle.

Got 24 going down, 22 back with city driving mixed in. 3 accidents caused the 113 mile trip to take close to 4 hours.

If it'd been more than weekend probably would have - yesterday was Packer game 7pm so we had bar to ourselves to eat and watch Bears pretend to play football!  Since Bobby was mostlikely watching them, timing would be like interrupting church  ;D

Once the new AR10 is together, maybe I'll try and link-up with him and he can do an independent review for the "rate a gun" thread!?

Currently sitting in Milwaukee traffic-yuck!   Doesn't anybody work a full day anymore?! LOL!

What can I say, that was rough to watch. Hopefully the linemen can figure out how to not get holding penalties at all the most in opportune times....

Well, I broke my foot in three places, dislocated a toe, have something torn in my shoulder (Doesn't work hardly at all) and generally I look like the poster child for a Band Aid commercial.

Self incriminating story, but sooner or later everyone will find out

The boys got a Honda XL-100. I was teaching them how to ride. Was really fun. We were in the yard around our home and I had each one of them follow me as i took them on tighter and tighter turns to let them get the feel of the machine.

Momma was out taping the whole time on her phone. After all this is the first time we all rode together. As I approached Kat, I throttled it to do a power wheelie. Must have been on nitrous because at about 15mph, the bike instantly went vertical, over rotated and fell on me.

The good news is the lawn sustained little damage as my foot, leg, shoulder, head and who knows what cushioned the bike as it slammed down.

I knew instantly I had broken things. I had this big dent in my foot where it had been crushed almost to being pierced through by the foot peg, I'm guessing. Then i noticed my shoulder wasn't rotating. It has like no strength, In fact I can't even lift the weight of my arm, and it hurts. My other elbow is purple, my neck is tweaked, I had a huge headache and I was bleeding from holes in my arms, hands, ankle and leg.

So what did I do? Well showered up, then tried to go to the farm. Noticed I could neither walk nor apply the brake pedal so after arguing with Kat for nearly all day, I agreed to go to the emergency room.

The X-rays showed three toes clearly broken completely away from the foot, and that big lateral bone behind them was cracked and separated in places.

I'm in a splint, looking at an ortho visit early in the week. Praying I only need casting and not a surgery. ER Dr. says it's borderline.

I let him set my toe without pain killers

Whoa

That was painful! Kat had to leave. The doctor asked several times if I was sure I wanted no meds. But I was thinking, if this all goes south we are going to have to live with extraordinary levels of pain. So I just figured I'd dive right in. It worked, but he said the problem was that all the toes adjacent to the dislocation were broken so he didn't have a lot to grab onto!

Yep, that was my day.

So let me get this right, you still have one good arm (elbow, wrist, fingers) & one good leg (knee, ankle, foot & toes)? What's the hold up here? ;)

Sorry, to hear about your bad luck. But good to see those boys are keeping you young (in spirit at least). Get mended & feeling better.

I think for learning purpose we need to see the video and a complete write up of what happens step by step.  We can't expect the group to learn if we can't see where it all went wrong so none of us make the same mistake

Praying for you Don...hope they heal quickly, because I'm sure all you can think about is the famous quote from game of thrones; "winter is coming"

And I'm with the other guys, we need the video. Only for training purposes.

No pain meds...........knucklehead!  You've got nothing to prove at that point!  You crashed and the Mrs. has it on tape for years to come..........shoulda asked for CARRY-OUTS for when the boys start reminiscing about it in years to come!

Heal quick and BE SMART about it - ankles no likey to heal correctly!
