Went and did some logging with the tuner and his laptop on my pickup truck.  Seems to be as he called it surging.    Not anything else visible in the file to suggest why.  So I will start at the fass fuel pump and see what pressure that is giving the cp3. Then might look at replacement of the cp3

Thats the trouble with these things. So many sensors and this works off of that. CPS won't be cheap but good to get the issue fixed.

Yep, EFILive. I don't tune either but having issues with new firmware. I adjust some settings and always loaded through the flashscan.

I can only program using the old "tun" not the "CTZ" it all converts to now. Been reading my but off, but have not got the flashscan to program alone.

Right now I have a 100/230 tune running, but it is touchy at low throttle. It gets great mileage though. I have a DSP5 by IdahoRob, but running his 100hp never felt this solid or got the mileage.

I talked to Dave a little tonight and will probably call Rob this next week.

To bad I just saw this. Did you have em check the Tcase for the rub. Would have been a great time for it laying on the bench.

Was that PSI pulling a hill? I cruise at around 4-5 and only see that when really on it.

Ouch, 5k for the rebuild, glad I haven't hurt the tranny yet. However having issues with EFI but got a 100/235 tune in there now.

I am seriously leaning towards just running the service, and doing 1 light and 1 gfi outlet and calling for inspection. Then get final, and then start pulling wire

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That's a good plan!

I agree, but check if there is a minimum for outlets.

Yep, did a lot of that in my garage too. You may want to check on the ply/osb though as they may not deem that good fire retardant wall cover.

Now if you haven't done the wiring, just get the conduit, not really much more $$ then you can upgrade when you want.

Sheetrock saved my house back in 06 when I had a garage fire. Worse damage was the FD with cutting holes all over the roof and all the water!

Let them think it was women, nice little twist.

10032
But of course with lots of pictures!

10033
I have seen good 5hp motors for $200, then $240 for the pump. Wiring and fittings at least $100.

10034
A 60 is fine for almost anything up to blasting or sanders. Depends on the sander but blasting uses alot of CFM.

Impacts, nailers and such are no big deal. Heck my little 8gal 2hp does that.

All sanded down and ready for sealer sans the one step with the wires. I need to drill another hole and relocate them over some.

I was ready to sheetrock the opening and I found a slight issue. The second step to the door opening is just 72 inches, not quite enough for not knocking the head for sure!

So now I have to remove the lip and re-route several wires in there. That gains me almost 4 inches and even more if I angle it a little. However this means I need to put a 4x6 over the doorway so it will be supported. I will box in the opening above the stairs, but leave the rest open. That works fine as the router is located up there and it gives a nice spot to get it out of the open.

Maybe a motion for 1 light in each shop and a switch for the rest. Plus the motion helps lets you know if someone is there when you aren't minus an alarm.

You could also just run the light runs all to one box and modify as seen by use.

I am putting the 9.5 into my 91 flip suburban. It has the 8.5 stock and they blow like crazy. The HD will have 8 lugs though and even the 6 lug may have 14mm vs 1/2 studs.

Just don't put another 8.5 under there if you have that. Go right to the 9.5, they seem to be way better and should be a bolt in.

I have a couple of those, they work great. One over the lathe and the other in the shed, nice when cold as the LED works more better than flo's.

I have been looking for flat panels or recessed for up stairs, but nothing has grabbed yet.

10044
This is almost 800 less than I paid local and you wouldn't pay tax. That is twice the comp you will get at any box store.

https://www.eatoncompressor.com/piston-compressors/industrial-series-5-10-hp/industrial-5hp-2-stage-single-phase-80-gallon-vertical-air-compressor

10045
More air storage is where it is at. I have a 5hp-80 with 175psi thats US made. Its quiet and its motor is twice the size of the box store stuff.

Not sure if you are thinking about it, but do not even think of oil-less.

I have 4.56 for mine as 410 seemed a little low, but 4.30s are not there.

Funny how the 35 tire just measures 33 at rest! I was guessing 34.5 or similar and there is still lots of tread.

Yes he is.

Most of my driving is around town and the mileage is lousy, like Kens.

I am thinking of loading a 120hp tune I have. My normal was a 100hp from Rob, but mileage was never really good and EGTs seem a little high.
