Suppressed 22 options?

longball:
I called Rugged and they do not recommend shooting rimfire calibers though their centerfire cans since they are so dirty.

But....this thing is rated for full-auto, belt fed, up to 30-06 and 300RUM in bolt action or other repeater. I don’t reckon an ultrasonic cleaner will hurt it.

That’s why most 22lr cans disassemble for cleaning.

Not sure if ultrasonic cleaner will remove all the deposits but it might be worth checking out

Hate when I miss a good thread. I got a Savage (22lr) and a Ruger (300aac) the same time last year. They are both great rifles but I really like the accutriger on the savage. Only dislike on the ruger is NOW it will take a regular AR magazine and mine takes the rotary.

I would love to suppress both, but not going to happen in this state for sure.

Yep, 22ammo is dirty (powder) but I always get coated bullets. I think that helps overall with the barrels too.

TexasRedNeck:
Yeah JR, we all know how dangerous “silencers” are....

Imagine how bad that shooting would have been at the horse track had the thug wanting to get into the Ice Cube concert had a suppressor.
