Late afternoon yesterday closed on new farm. 84.5 acres.
I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb. I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.
You know it.
I'll be there Friday afternoon to Sunday after church.
Been putting the house back together after the 6 week paint job, swapping out light and light fixtures, swapping out all the ivory wall plates, switches, duplex receptacles for white and adding some wifi light switches. Also ordered a new sink and faucet for the downstairs powder room, sink will require granite cutting so we’ll see how that goes. Still waiting on the wife to pick tile. She brings in a decorator Wednesday to break the analysis paralysis.
I had the oil change light come on in the L5P today on my way in. Weather to take it to the dealership or crawl under it myself. Choices and more choices Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Choices and more choices if you have the $$$ and dont want to get fuel all over yourself, i say take it to the stealership and have them look everything over and rotate the tires as well.......i found a 4 pack of fuel filters and ac delco oil filters on amazon for a great price. i dont know what your interval you go with, but i typically stick to every 10k miles for both fuel and oil. i take it back to where i bought the tires and have them rotate every 5k (for warranty purposes).

You should think outside the box, or like Don, take the box, fill it with tannerite and shoot it. Dealership costs money, crawling underneath is just uncomfortable. Install a lift and youndont have to Go to the dealership or crawl, and you make more use of your beautiful garage. Problem solved. :)From one Dave to another. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Those rears are said by some to better than the 11.5 AAMs. Cheap and lots of parts!
I'm an "A" type person and always need to be doing something. Because of this I have been working many free hours for the Department of Defense because my supervision made the decision that one person (me) can do the work of 3 people did last year. The 3rd person retired at the end of 2020 and the 2nd person was resigned in May of 2021. Very hard for me to do but for family, self and service I will only do my 8 hours a day and be done, if it doesn't get done well it will be there tomorrow. I just may try to show up more. Men don't fall into the trap of working more than one should. Have a blessed daySent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk

We as men try to go above and beyond. Try to accomplish the tasks before us but…. I personally forget my first priority is to provide for my family and besides financially ( wife has that covered ) I need to physically be there. Workin 60 hr weeks to make some one else wealthy is a terrible plan Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Shawn, makes sense. Didn't realize the flange was a weak point just because I've never seen one fail, but I only see everyday run of the mill trucks.Oklawall, although I understand your position, and each person has their own situation, and priorities can change, I also believe that if it weren't for the men working themselves to an early grave, this wouldn't be the greatest country to ever exist, or even, civilization would still be stuck in caves waiting for our savior to arrive. Even though I do work hard for other people, I work hard for my own satisfaction as the priority. That being said, I have a healthy family at the moment.
