Dave, problem is if you build flatbed out of it, you might not plan on hauling heavy but it will happen. Take a darn good look at the frame before you decide to spend money. Use the axles yes the frame no.

I tuned over the build quality to the fabricator guy I work with.  A few degrees and a grundle of weld experience, I’ll let him make the call.   I know basics, I wouldn’t start to argue to much about structural with him about much as far as structural.   Arkstiker (Sam) has yet to come over and look but I’ll clean it off this weekend and see what comes out on the bottom of it.

Took a shot at a coyote yesterday morning. I happened to look out the back window just as it ran up and tried to get a chicken. Unfortunately I only had my Ruger .380 at hand and he was running into the woods.  So this morning I provided overwatch from the roof of the house for the chickens at dawn when they cane out of the coop, but no unwanted visitors showed up.
At least when I came in and made sure all the kids were up I got compliments for how cool I looked with the AR slung across my chest.

Dave, I’ve heard of a southern lean but I’m not sure what you have going on with that trailer?

The ol boy who parked it in the yard gave it his best, I was simply happy I didn’t have to transport this turd on the freeway, and glad my fence is still up

I told him to just drop it and the trailer ended up how it is.   The roof is toast so the slide out is about ready to fall off

Rented a couple things for the weekend.

Because i had to clean all this up.

Then started to cut this in, but the fact that the ground has never been broken is proving a bit too much for the worn out pto tiller.

Guess im gonna have to get something a little different to crack that nut!

Nate, is it heavy clay? If so you may need to mix in some sand once you plow it open. What we did in Indiana for our large garden

It is not clay at all, its good nebraska black dirt.  It has never been broke, turned, disturbed, etc.  The first go rounds just took the long prairie grass off the top, ill get after it today since i have a couple hours left on the tractor.

A night of rain helped tremendously!  Now i just need to let it dry out and get in it with a hand tiller to make it like smooth.

Slept in a little bit, woke up and had coffee with Jena. She left to help out at a event her company is putting on to help people in the area. You can email in and request up to 2 pizzas for your family, you drive up and they deliver them curbside to your car, free of charge. Her and her son are off doing that until 1900ish and I'm doing homework, well I was but I needed a break.

It was a long day. Just about got this bin with a pit in it cleaned out. Trucks got full before I got it empty. This bin leaks alot so it's about to be retired. The foundation is shot.
Little brother had a rough afternoon trimming trees at the camp site. Got the lift stuck and then dropped a large branch on the water hydrant and broke the top off. Tomorrow we get to dig it up and replace it.

Oh yeah and somewhere in the day I managed to find time to move a shed from one town to another for a friend. Had to winch it on the gooseneck trailer and get a tractor to drag it off at the new location.

Should give a pretty good idea until I get another arial.  The green is where momma wants her trees and some smaller bushes around them with that tall grass and decorative maple trees and other things I’ll have to weed around and maintain.
I’ll take another photo when trenches are dug and I can keep a record of where the power, water, and extra lines are ran

Dave. Just a suggestion. When we bought our house 11 years ago I paid a landscape architect to come out and do the design and provide a set of plans. I think he charged me $1500. I executed the plans myself but it was worth every penny to have a professional master plan to work from.

I have about 4K worth of gravel in the plan just in driveway.  I would love to add more but momma says no.

Charles we went down that path about half way to meet and talk and honestly I couldn’t tell you what they would be providing besides their personal choice of plants and a really overpriced picture.

Utah state university has a pretty highly rated college program for landscape and Agricultural, they allow joe home owners to work with them for free.  Pretty simple really, call the Agriculture office tell them your location and they will email or give plant/grass recommendations based on soil studies and so forth

The local sprinkler/irrigation store has some good fellas and will lay out your sprinkler systems if you buy parts from them.

With work we get sod for cost plus delivery ( maybe finish that ugly trailer to haul sod)

We have lots of work to get the lawns and shrub beds ready for summer. Problem is we are stuck in AZ and not really sure if we can even drive back to WA. Down here the weeds are under control, the gravel raked, irrigation all checked and working good. Running out of things to do and no where to go to. Can't even go out for dinner and the parks are closed. So far we are healthy so am thankful for that. Might be safer to stay down here but lots of work to do at home.

Yeah. Lots to be thankful for Bob.

Ken you are obviously an AZ boy if you think gravel is landscape. That’s why my wife wouldn’t let me relo there in 2006. Good too because shortly after the housing market tanked.

Dave. Landscape architects.  The really good ones are like artists. It’s not just about the plants that thrive in your location. Not saying you can’t do it yourself but I’ve made enough mistakes to pay for one so for my primary home I’ll pay the money. Out here in the sticks I just throw stuff in the ground

Charles, my old house had the nicest yard in the neighborhood (was that way when I bought it). 20 years later we bought a house, ironically a foreclosure from the crash, with a blank slate.
I left the lawnmower at the other house.
Never again.

I guess time I’ll tell,  I mostly don’t want to fork out the funds to pay them when I can pay for more mature trees instead.  Otherwise the will try and cover my trailers, block my neighbors view and other things lol

I agree with a time for a drink

Maybe I’ll bring home some alder and start a fire tomorrow night

Dave, that is the right price for a drone, good pics too. The gravel, 4k, is it gold plated??

Charles, I really wish I had your "problems". Few building issues, summer house finished. I will agree on the drink!!!!

Bob, they can't stop you from going home. I have 2 properties, I will come go as I choose since I have "cause".

Ken, I like lawns. The right one means little work. Gravel is good too as well as well placed tree's.

Been working in the garage, you know the get it worse before it gets better type. Got the wall cleaned up for the OSB, then comes the flip up cabinets.

New front tires/rims showed up today. Another project for next week with the garage.
