Nate:

Sammconn:
That's pretty cool!

But I wonder if there is vertical misfortune from time to time on the push stroke?

Flyin6:
I was wondering if that cartridge segment might be undercut to capture the bullet and base?
Pretty cool

Every cabin ought to have one...doubles as a drink holder, butcher block, paddle for those mis-behavin' youngins and a pancake serving plate!

Sammconn:
Believe me, I had the same thought.
Will have to play around and see how it works out.
Have a bunch of scraps laying around the cabin that may have just been retasked from fire to loading board.

Upon third viewing I think you may be right.
Looking at the cartridges near the mag, the bullet seems to disappear, lending to the undercut being quite probable. I'm not sure about the base. Will need to get to a computer monitor to get a bigger view. Could very well be undercut as well.
