so I came across these 2 beauties today



and I thought I would do something like this

I will see how much of this I can do on the free side but I know that there will be some metal stock that I will have to buy.

Edit: I like the first design better (smaller footprint). You may think about solder versus that fire proof Styrofoam he used. I also didn't read what he used but in the firebox I would line bottom with firebrick or use a thicker metal like 1/4" Just my 2 cents
