Just kidding.   Just need to make it thick enough the flex of the wood will not crack the floor epoxy

Yep it’s a 24 hr recoat unless scuff sanded.  I’ll do it this Friday eve and Saturday eve. If anything goes off I can fix Sunday

Sanded the whole floor tonight with 180 grit paper, let the shop dust settle and I’ll vacuum the floor tomorrow after some patch on the floor for the no longer used strap points.   Removing 4 of the strap points in the front of the trailer because cabinets and bathroom will block any use of them.

Filing holes in the bottom of the trailer with some 1/2 inch ply on the bottom to hold in the bondo and slug that I’ll cut out from 3/4 inch ply. Bondo and sand smooth.

I also need to fill in all of the screw holes from the snowmobile track things my buddy used to keep from scaring the trailer floor, that didn’t work but I fixed it now.

Don it’s the older version of what you used on the tanks and everywhere else you had a flat surface, just some pour down self leveling epoxy.

As of this morning is looks good. Still a little soft but by tonight should be good to go for a second coat with

Applied

OK, copy that

Mine also took days to fully harden. But now I am walking on that water tank lid every day and it shows zero wear. It seems to be pretty good stuff.

Good choice!

We used this stuff in hospitals to Air Force bases, Hill Airforce base here in ogden does a bunch or plane repair and reprints.  In another life we had the contract for most of the building paint and epoxys.   We used this stuff there also.  Bullet proof tec.

Now they have stuff that cures under a UV light.  You actually push a lawnmower type machine that has lights under it.   It cures as you walk the floor.    Instant use product types

I applied the second coat of paint tonight, I spaced mixing in the non slip additive until I was shoes off, roller in the garbage and ready for a drink...... so I pulled all that back together and fed the ducks so to speak to apply the grit.  Back rolled the now extra sticky epoxy.... three hours later it flattened back out and only The lord knows if it was enough to work.

Tomorrow I’ll tell

Today with much luck the epoxy was dry, on to the next step! Wall covering!!

To the local HD to pick up 30 yards of the outdoor carpet stuff.   Using the spray glue previously shown.  I masked off windows and floor and ceiling so to not cover everything in glue.  Rolled carpet into the garage floor and sprayed it also.  The is glue bonds with its self so don’t let it touch is the name of the game.  All in all one side done and I am pleased with it.

Yes,  ordered some 1/4 alder sheeting.  When I get that stuff stained and sprayed I’ll instal the foam insulation on the roof and then follow the alder, led light pucks and go from there

How much weight do you honestly think you have added to the weight of the trailer?

And are you thinking that you may need to upgrade to bigger axle's because of the weight currently/planned added?

Unless he puts something real heavy in there, the 6k rating should be fine.

Like Jr. Said it’s 6k should be a long ways off, only adding a 100lbs of sheeting maybe, the cabinets 75 each (5) plus the shower and potty    I think the largest thing to go inside will be my dirtbikes.    Built to fit a rzr but I hope to not make that a thing at my house.

I’ll for sure give it a weight when finished and if I had to guess. The axles are fine but I second guess the flooring honestly.

They will go on the back of the trailer,  I have always ran bikes right to left, so I’ll put  4 and 4 on each side of the trailer next to the wall, front tires push against the wall and the straps to each corner.

I’ll post a photo tomorrow if I get to it.   Should look killer against the epoxy floor
