So we recently went on an overseas trip, one of the things I wanted to take with us was some emergency meds. Didn’t get to because they didn’t show up in time. That being said, you can get a supply of emergency meds from a few locations online.

Jase Medical

The Wellness Center

Duration Health

Contingency Medical

They all offer a drop shipped bundle of script required meds. Each is a little different than the other. The Wellness Center has a line of supplements to help overcome many issues.

Figured it would be worth the share.

Most recent completion was with the family. We read it every night for a bed time devotion. Completed it earlier this year.

Start in Matthew read through NT and back into OT. Takes a long time one or two chapters a night.

Have noticed several times His word has aligned with life situations. Always a pleasant reminder he walks with us every day.

Yea makes sense! Realtors don’t actually seem to work for their customers so much as the biggest check they can get any more. It’s a bittersweet reality, but I’m ok with wife and I most likely not having to deal with them for quite some time.

I look forward to seeing how it works out, I personally believe it will work out in your favor because housing market, like most other things, is looking bleak. But maybe not there.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Dave, I don't have one (Yet)
two thoughts
It is not dusty enough to need one
And
Should I opt for a Hemi, the air intake is on the opposite side (I think)
Then you just run dual snorkels! It’s a jeep, I’m sure there’s a kit for it

Yea, once you turn it off it goes for a while. I like old metal, so I figured this would fit that category. Certainly is a useful tool, wish I had it while we’re in the midst of the 74 build. Will serve a great purpose when the next build begins!

Wondered if it would happen, but then you made it through almost everything so figured you’d make it. Guess not!

12
Not sure what your build plan is, but I didn’t measure any brackets going from the 92 donor onto the 74. Just bolted it all together.

Had to cut out the divorced transfer case cross member on the 74 frame, and drill some holes for the 92 transmission cross member. Everything else was direct bolt on.

Took a couple days off to enjoy the desert before it gets any warmer. Took a 25 mile trail (5 hours in the General... Very rough) that ended at an oasis. Never been here and definitely planning to go back.

So, it's a wide slot canyon, running water year round, that ties into a larger canyon with a protected status, and more water.... not even allowed to hike that one without a permit.

Some of the trees have a 10+ foot stump. Saw a couple families of Coati also. Too bad we had to leave right away to make it back to camp before dark.

With the 01 camry done, daughter wants another. She is fixated on a camry, but I think her hopes are a little high right now and wanted to buy NOW.

She has enough to pay cash (not bad for a 20 year old) but want the newest style with under 50k. Doable, but need to search some, plus it is raining which is not a good time.

Wife unit thinks she is an expert in cars now (don't get me started) as she sold used cars way back. Been kinda ugly.
If you can get her to wait, used car market appears to be crashing. Which will lead to used dealers with stuffed lots and nothing moving.

That’s a cool little toy. Did it come with a long enough extension cord to clean the driveway

EV duh….. lol

That cord going to the block heater was why this didn’t get delivered two weeks ago. They had agreed to install a block heater. So they pulled a freeze plug then didn’t like how the heater sat in that spot. So they ordered in a replacement freeze plug after moving the heater to a second spot. Only that first freeze plug was incorrect size. So then they ordered in the correct size from somewhere in the Midwest that was pummeled last week with a major snow storm.
Yea I knew it was the delivery delay-er. I just laugh at the thought of an EV tool like that, like it’s a plug in lawnmower of old .  I suppose though, there are days where it will be a saving grace to have the block heater.

Nice work long ball! Good to see some meat harvested!
Thank you sir. I haven’t forgotten that antelope hunt we discussed 5 years ago and I am still appreciative of the information you gave me. With the kids at age 2 and 5 I figure we’re 3-4 years away from the littlest being able to tag along. As soon as we feel he could make a stalk without talking or howling at the moon (he’s a wild one and 100% boy) we’ll try to make that happen.

This was the first guided hunt I’d been on and it was great. From listening to people talk around the camp/lodge/whatever, their experiences varied wildly depending on which guide they had. Suppose we got lucky with the guy we drew.

Just need to finish taping. Ran out of sunlight.

And that hitch is forged and rated at 7500 which is plenty for my utility trailer which is what I tow most often. It’s the perfect height for that low trailer. I have a heavier one for taller trailers. And it works wonders on tail gaters.

Pretty sure I bought a skid steer over two weeks ago….

So it was supposed to be delivered Friday before last. At the time I was told the local dealer in Kalispell had received it from the Belgrade dealer Thursday morning the 8th but they didn’t have time to install a simple block heater due to a larger job in front of mine. Fast forward last Friday the 16th and after several emails and calls to set up the delivery for today (I was in Colorado all last week) I was informed they broke a freeze plug and were waiting on the replacement. If you know anything about block heaters that doesn’t jive. So this morning salesman calls and states they haven’t received freight in 3 days.

This is when my interrogation started. First, it’s possible they broke the block heater. As those install in a freeze plug typically. Second, per the tracking number where is the replacement part. I then tell him to get with service and call me back. He puts her on the phone. So they pulled a freeze plug originally then didn’t like where the block heater would be positioned. So they put it in another freeze plug spot they liked better. Then ordered the incorrect freeze plug in. So then on a second order which hasn’t arrived bought the correct freeze plug from somewhere in the Midwest. Last thing I’m told is part could arrive Monday thru Weds. My money is on Friday at this point. Oh and another 8-11” of snow due tomorrow. Lovely…..

Did get the heat shield in for wood stove while I was out. I installed that yesterday and did the final heat cycle fire for break in today. Cooling as I speak, once it gets to room temp again I’m
Gtg. Dug my way to wood shed and filled wood rack today. Two or three kiddos drive up Thursday.
Sorry to hear about you getting the frozen plug shaft by the JCB dealer. You’d think they could simply source one from napa, carquest, orilleys, or any other parts store. Must be some fancy 25.4mm freeze plug that only JCB makes.

Well, I think this is over before it really got started!

I was out with Kat today. The subject came up about my looking at all these jeep camper vids. I mentioned it would be nice to have one then participate on overnight trail rides. She seemed to be onboard with the idea...Cool

Then I mentioned how the manufactured ones cost an arm and a leg, so why don't I just build one myself?

One second later: "You are not building one of those. We are not going to do that again! Buy one already built and get started the right way without having to build something that might or might not work.

So that's that, Camper flip tent build is DEAD.

But

I think that Alu-Cab door is wide open!
Nice to see her talk some sense into you

You’ll be able to use it much faster this way, and won’t have to fight an endless pile of little pieces that don’t want to mesh just right.

Could purchase one of them drawer platforms, an actual topper, and a mattress, for pretty cheap. Then you still have room for tools and such, and a sleeping area. Would also be quick to install, plug and play!

Also helps keep COG a bit lower. Probably meets low weight requirements as well.

Tesla shows you the limitations (annoyances really) very quickly.

Our little stove we had in GA was a different color but very similar in style. Loved that thing, we ran it hot hot to heat our 2200ish sqft of house, worked like a charm!

Don’t need heat much down here, but I sure do miss sitting by one on a winters night. Good work on signing the check

While I have been reading and planning out what I think this Jeep Gladiator overlander might look and function like, I was looking at powering the back end. I read this or that and came across cool things like Jeep 7-pin taps to charge batteries and run things in the back end from the already-provided trailer jack.

That led me to a long discussion that some folks were having on how to charge various batteries, and whether or not solar charging was needed at all. One man suggested that charging a more efficient battery off the vehicle's alternator made the most sense, especially if driving/camping in overcast conditions where you might not have sufficient sunlight to top up a solar-recharged battery.

That led directly to a discussion about just replacing the vehicles lead/acid battery with an Iron Phosphate Lithium battery with a huge capacity and just run everything off that battery.

Well, that made a lot of sense from a weight-conscious perspective when adding a bunch of junk to a jeep that is underpowered, to begin with. That's where I learned about the Anti-Gravity direct replacement Lithium battery for vehicles.

This battery is really cool but take a firm seat before looking at the price, mind you! First of all, it only takes 24 amp/hours to completely replace the car's electrical needs and the 24 ah/hr Antimatter is a whopping 800CCA! But the thing comes in several sizes Larger all within the standard battery case, up to 60 Amp/Hr sizes boasting 1800 CCA.

But it doesn't stop there. Whereas a lead/acid battery provides up to 12.6VDC, the Lithium Ion provides 13.4VDC, I think. That spins the starter faster and provides more juice to the spark plugs for better starting and better combustion. Next, the battery is really lightweight. It will typically instantly remove 35 to 50 lbs. of weight from your car/truck. The 60 Amp/Hr battery for my Jeep only weighs 14.5 lbs!

There's even more. The battery has a built-in Battery monitor system which will not allow you or a faulty charging system to damage it in any way. It self-protects! Its duty cycle is roughly 3 times that of a Lead Acid Battery. They approximate that, but it will give 3000 discharge to recharge cycles before starting to degrade. A lead Acid battery will barely get to 1000. It typically lasts 8-10 years, but that won't account for the steep asking price of nearly $1,000. Two lead-acid batteries @ $150 ea would be far less to be sure.

Here's another super cool feature. It comes with a key fob. Let's say that you fully discharge the battery by, leaving the headlights on and the battery lacks the power to start your car. All you do is push the key-fob button and it will provide power enough to start your vehicle! It has a built-in drive away when dead feature!

I liked it because I was going to have to add another 50 pounds of battery to the back end of the JT for the camper, but now, I not only don't need to do that, but I can actually drop weight in the starter battery!

https://antigravitybatteries.com/
Would be cool if they made the same battery without all the tech. Would probably make it half the price it is. Neat battery for sure!

When the family is sitting on the side of the road, those will make getting back on the road much easier.  Also, inflating flat tires, blowing up floats at the lake, and being a hero in the RV park when someone else breaks…

We have done the glass and interior of the Model Y so far. Have the stuff to do the wheels and the rest of the body, just haven’t done it yet.
Yes, I used a less permanent coating from Meguiars

I wanted to be able to have some hydrophobic properties but still be able to polish and wax which is my preferred method of clean.

On that, four wheel campers make a phenomenal product, albeit pricey. Also, eezi-awn make great roof top tents. Have owned some version of both brands, and would do so again in a heart beat. Not sure if FWC makes anything for the fladioart bed but probably so, as it’s close to a tacoMa bed.

Kinda like where i worked before. one atta boy vs all the other things.

Glad it was resolved with no damage or injury. I would inspect the wheels though. Could be some damage with that much play.
This was my thought, but I’ll also run broken things soo, maybe not the best judge…. Or lost threads on the studs?

We mix the mud with hot water of more calcium for cold weather helps it cure well enough then toss a few concrete insulated blankets over it

Hell we are pouring asphalt Thursday in 30 degrees

They have developed a product are testing for Ogden city. About 400’ of road and they are willing to work with us and the asphalt company to test it out.

Is it possible you ate something different and you are having an allergic reaction?  Did you alter your skin care routine on your face?  Just a couple thoughts I had

Ok so I omitted I take allergy pills 365 days a year.
No changes to anything really.
I’ve doubled up the allergy meds already in case but to no avail.

But thanks for the options and ideas.

I’ll be heading back shortly in hopes to see the same doc.
Did you wake up with it small originally and then it continued growing? My first thought was a spider bite while sleeping.

I’ve had bug bites that I don’t remember happening, but the marks, swelling, and long lasting red spots were very clear I got bit.

On this first short trip, I used 2WD, 4WD high, and low. I unlocked the sway bar and used the rear lock and at times front and rear diff lock. The AEV choice of Bilstein shocks is a good one. I never felt anywhere near being out of control except in the mud hole where I tried to roll the thing over. I could get the 37s to rub during extreme flexing, but only then. I did not air down this time, and I also carried no recovery gear and do not have a winch installed at this point.

In true bujee jeeper fashion I must recommend a nice light bar before any of that other useless items you just referenced. I mean, if you can’t see what good would the rest of that stuff be anyhow?
Lightbar, hugh.
As in a long LED lightbar or some overhead high mounted lights?
I ask cause the headlights are PDG! And those AEV lights are super good, as in light up the night good

Just got back from the truck wash. It's blue once again.
Checked the mileage. The drive down there, a few hours of crawling around, a lot of it in low range and the 70 mph drive home netted me something around 9-10 MPG!!!!!
Burb get that mileage donit? I know the dodge gets better than that when we go for a similar trip here.
