Well another cold night but people were fed.
Our crowd seems to be on the increase despite the weather. Thank goodness the temps were in the high 30's making all this much more possible.
I am seeing a slow increase in anger and violence. But like all things, with just a couple or last night one drunken individual trying to make a mess of the whole thing.
Lucky for him, he got managed. He was angry about all the "Police Killings" going on. So I engaged him
Note to self: Don't engage drunks with logic, they just get louder.

Anyway he started with "The police are killing us on the streets" So I asked him "You think you could do it any better?" He said "we're still enslaved!" So I asked him why? With all the opportunity wasn't his comment just a scape goat one and not the truth? So he asked me, "So, Man, what is the truth?" I answered that fathers are not doing their job, and no one is responsible. I said if I had gotten to Michael Brown at a time like this before he was indoctrinated, then maybe I could have saved him.

Not that I'm anything, I am not...But to make the point. I pointed out that neither of that boys parents actually raised him. ANd I asked this angry black man if he was a father. He answered yes, 4 kids. I asked him if they lived with him...Silence. I asked him if he thought gangs and violence was a good thing. He said no to gangs but remained silent on the violence thing. Then I stepped back and adsked him to look at me. I was wearing my WW Stan flight jacket. I asked him if he noticed the jacket. He just looked. I said that I was a soldier. In my life I have had to make split second decisions when getting shot at to return fire or not. I explained that in some instances, while spraying out thousands (Millions??) of bullets we might have hit innocent kids. Was I a murderer I asked?

I told him you can't call down police officers who have a nearly impossible job to do on every single thing they do. THen I challenged him. I said, then you go do it! Stop complaining and trying to get everyone here angry and you go to the police academy and put that uniform on and then you do it right. After that I escorted him off into the shadows.

The devil will do that when you are effective. He will try to disrupt things, but we all know who wins!

Anyway, here's the tray of spaghetti I cooked up to take down there with your donated money:

Here are some families in my local area who are real deal refugees
Christian families who were driven out of their countries by muslims (The religion of peace) Some watched their mothers or sisters be raped or their parents be killed and all for the crime of believing in Jesus and not selling out it the lie that is Islam (I don't like giving that word a capital letter)

They are thankful to be in a nation that does not threaten them for wanting to outwardly worship as a Christian.

The list is specific and detailed if anyone wants to give something specific. I'm jumping in and will list what I do and for who so we don't have much duplication.

One 82-year-old lady loves Obama and she may have a very good point.

She says that Obama is amazing, and is rebuilding the American dream!

She gives us an entirely new slant on the "amazing" job Obama is doing, and
she says that she will thank God for the President. Keep reading for her
additional comments and an explanation.  When discussing Obama, she says:

1. Obama has completely exposed liberals and progressives for what they
are. Sadly, every generation seems to need to re-learn the lesson on why
they should never actually put liberals in charge. Obama is bringing home
the lesson very well: Liberals tax, borrow and spend. Liberals won't bring
themselves to protect America. Liberals want to take over the economy.
Liberals think they know what is best for everyone. Liberals are not happy
until they are running YOUR life.

2. Obama destroyed the Clinton Political Machine, driving a stake through
the heart of Hillary's presidential aspirations - something no Republican
was ever able to do.

3. Obama killed off the Kennedy Dynasty - no more Kennedys trolling
Washington looking for booze and women wanting rides home.

4. Obama is destroying the Democratic Party before our eyes! Dennis
Moore had never lost a race. Evan Bayh had never lost a race. Byron
Dorgan had never lost a race. Harry Reid - soon to be GONE! These are
just a handful of the Democrats whose political careers Obama has
destroyed. By the end of 2014, dozens more will be gone. Just think, in
December of 2008 the Democrats were on the rise. In two election
cycles, they had picked up 14 Senate seats and 52 House seats. The press
was touting the death of the Conservative Movement and the Republican
Party. However, in just one year, Obama put a stop to all of this and
gave the House and the Senate - back to the Republicans.

5. Obama has brought more Americans back to conservatism than anyone
since Reagan. In one year, he has rejuvenated the Conservative Movement
and brought out to the streets millions of freedom loving Americans. Name
one other time when you saw your friends and neighbors this interested in
taking back America!

6. Obama, with his "amazing leadership," has sparked the greatest period
of sales of firearms and ammunition this country has seen. Law abiding
citizens have rallied and have provided a "stimulus" to the sporting goods
field while other industries have failed, faded, or moved off-shore.

7. In all honesty, one year ago I was more afraid than I have been in my
life. Not afraid of the economy, but afraid of the direction our country
was going. I thought, Americans have forgotten what this country is all
about. My neighbors and friends, even strangers, have proved to me that
my lack of confidence in the greatness and wisdom of the American people
has been flat wrong.

8. When the American people wake up, no smooth talking teleprompter
reader can fool them! Barack Obama has served to wake up these great
Americans! Again, I want to say: "Thank you, Barack Obama!" After all,
this is exactly the kind of hope and change we desperately needed!!

9. He made Jimmy Carter happy since Jimmy is no longer the worst
president we've ever had.

Donations / Homeless street meal 12 01 2014
« on: December 01, 2014, 09:16:06 PM »
Another cold and rainy Monday night and another street church and meal. Tonight was a big turnout, over 150 I'd estimate and a mix of women and men.
My wife and I cooked up 20 pounds of pulled pork and dozens of hamburger buns to serve, and I got to work the crowd some and hand out hygiene bags, gloves, and socks.
Some of the homeless regulars are getting to know me now and telling me more and more about life on the street. I learned about a "Camp" that is set up by them on an abandoned block on 6th street. They told me they have a fire pit and their greatest need is simply fire wood to burn. They have makeshift tents and primitive everything else...really amazing that this exists in the middle of a thriving city!

Vests & Protection / "Armed Response" Know when to shoot
« on: November 29, 2014, 10:31:11 AM »
I found this useful to consider.
OK, so you know a thing or two about weapons. You purchased a pistol or shotgun and feel you are prepared to defend your family.

Good

But if you shoot to stop a home invasion, will you be placed on trial? Will panels of advanced degree pseudo experts be called in endless procession to paint the case for you being a vigilante who was just waiting for the opportunity to shoot someone?

This book should be your next step in protection training.

With American families facing crime, terrorism and an uncertain future, WND is doing its part to bolster homeland security – by offering, today only, one of the most practical and authoritative books on armed self-defense available, for one-quarter the normal price!

There's more to responsible and effective gun ownership than possession and a few trips to the local gun range. While important, this all has to do with "hardware." But as legendary police firearms instructor Massad Ayoob explains in this book's foreword, one must also be aware of the "software" – meaning the mindset behind owning and carrying a gun.

"Armed Response" is a comprehensive guide for using firearms for defense before, during, and after a life-threatening assault. From learning what to ask yourself before deciding to carrying a gun, how to choose a gun that's right for you, what to look for in holsters, how to carry a concealed gun, proper training techniques, and the legal issues and implications of using of lethal force, "Armed Response" is, by far, the most complete resource available.

The culmination of hard-learned experience and instruction from internationally recognized use-of-force instructors, "Armed Response" offers valuable real-life lessons about preparing to face a lethal threat, winning a gun fight, and surviving the ensuing court battle, information that cannot be found outside of expensive tactical training schools.

"Armed Response" is organized into succinct, compact-sized chapters that can be quickly and easily read. A few of the chapters include: •The need for Empty Hand Skills
•Responsible use of Lethal Force
•Beyond the Basics of Gun Handling
•Revolvers versus Semi-Automatics and Handgun Selection
•Concealed Carry and Alternative Carry Concepts
•Ammunition Options and Stopping Power
•Consequences of a Shooting
•Rules for a Gunfight

"Armed Response' is a must-read for every gun owner." – Alan Gottlieb, founder, Second Amendment Foundation

"This book is written for those who have taken upon themselves the ultimate responsibility, the protection of the ones we love." – Gun Week

"An excellent starting text for the first-time gun-owner or the citizen just beginning to explore armed self-defense." – Massad Ayoob, director, Lethal Force Institute

"Defending the family against a terrorist or criminal is not the same as shooting a paper target, thus firearm enthusiasts need direction if they are to be successful at their defensive goals. They will set off on the right track and find everything they need in this book. I recommend it highly." – Gabe Suarez, internationally recognized authority on reality-based combat training

Intel / Militia in Ferguson
« on: November 29, 2014, 10:04:13 AM »

FERGUSON • Following a night of arson fires and bashed storefronts that hit close to home, Greg Hildebrand stood naked Tuesday, drying off from a needed shower, when he noticed somebody on the rooftop.

“I opened the window and said, ‘Hey, can I help you?’” said Hildebrand, 35, a website developer.

The man said he was security and would be up there at night with others to protect the pocket of second-story apartments and lower-level storefronts near the Ferguson Police Department. A day earlier, rioters had broken out windows below Hildebrand’s apartment in the 100 block of South Florissant Road and torched a nearby beauty supply store.

“I am in the middle of a difficult spot,” Hildebrand said. “I feel a lot better having those guys up on the roof.”

But he wasn’t clear exactly who “those guys” were or where they came from.

Puzzled and alarmed protesters have wondered, too — some accusing the mysterious guards in military fatigues of being in the Ku Klux Klan.

In fact, they are volunteers affiliated with a 35,000-member national organization called Oath Keepers. Yale Law School graduate and libertarian Stewart Rhodes said by telephone from Montana that he founded the group in 2009 to protect constitutional rights, including those of protesters confronted by what he described as overly militarized police.

But Rhodes, who said he is Mexican-American, was quick to assure that Oath Keepers is not anti-government. He said those pulling rooftop security in Ferguson are current or former government employees and first responders, many who have intense military, police and EMS training.

“We thought they were going to do it right this time,” Rhodes said of government response to the grand jury decision released Monday night in the Darren Wilson case. “But when Monday rolled around and they didn’t park the National Guard at these businesses, that’s when we said we have got to do something.

“Historically, the government almost always fails to protect people,” he added.

Kudos to Jesse Bogan, and Post Dispatch, for good coverage of an outstanding civic action by Oath Keepers.  Salute!

COMMENT BY STEWART RHODES, FOUNDER OF OATH KEEPERS:

That is is a great article in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch about our unpaid, volunteer security team in Ferguson that has protected four businesses and also apartments this past week.  Reporter Jesse Bogan deserves our thanks and gratitude for reporting fairly and accurately, which is, sadly, such a rarity among mainstream media that have covered us.

Despite the still ongoing negligent lack of protection by the Governor and his men for the businesses in Ferguson, our volunteer security team of Oath Keepers members have been able to prevent arsonists from burning these buildings down, saving several small businesses owned by hard-working Ferguson residents, such as Natalie Dubose of Natalie’s Cakes and More, and also saving the occupied apartments on the upper floors, and very likely saving the lives of the residents.

This we will defend:  Natalie Dubose, a hard working single-mother of two who got her start selling cakes at a local Flea Market, opened the small bake shop of her dreams just this past summer.   She has a right to life, liberty, and property – a right to live her dream and feed her children by doing so – and we are proud to defend her rights, along with the rights of the other good people on her block.

You should know that arsonists directly threatened to burn these buildings down, in callous, evil disregard for the lives of the people who live there and the people who’s dreams and livelihood are tied up in their businesses there (in addition to Natalie’s bakery, there is a family owned Chinese Restaurant, a family owned beauty supply store, and a dentist office, among others).

On Tuesday afternoon, as our Oath Keepers volunteers were boarding up the window-fronts, some thugs walked up and said “we’ll just tear those down to get in” to which one of our men said “we won’t let you get that close to the buildings.”  The thugs responded with “then we’ll just throw Molotov Cocktails on the roofs tonight and burn these Fu*%@#g buildings down.” But that didn’t happen, because our military and police veterans were on the rooftops that night, wetting them down, and standing guard with a fire-extinguisher in one hand, and a rifle or shotgun in the other.

Gotta have a sense of humor, even during riots and unrest.   Even the Fire extinguishers in Ferguson have Guy Fawkes masks on.

Our security team did spot coordinated arsonist teams moving along the street, assembling Molotov Cocktails as they went.  And some did initially try to approach the buildings we guarded, but when our men shined their bright tactical flashlights on the wanna-be arsonists, and, in loud voices from above, told them “your current chosen profession is not a healthy one to pursue here,” the arsonists suddenly remembered they had somewhere else to be.

And that’s how it went all week.  Other buildings around them, some as close as 75 yards away, were set on fire and vandalized, but the buildings our team guarded went untouched, and unburned.   Passing thugs occasionally shouted insults and obscenities, and made threats, but none of them had the courage of their convictions.  None stepped up to walk their talk.

And our men, fortunately, did not have to use force on anyone.   Their presence and vigilance alone were a strong and effective deterrent.   They were cool, calm, and professional, but also firm in making their resolve to defend the buildings and residents known.

The closest our security team came to actually having to use force was on Thanksgiving night when Nebraska Marine veteran Nick Nesbitt spotted several men accosting a lone female, who began to yell in distress as one of the men grabbed her.   Nick put his bright light on them and told the man to take his hands off the woman “NOW!” and the man let go of her, grabbed her cell-phone, and ran down the street.   Our team let the police know what happened and where the strong-armed robbery suspect had gone, and the police found and arrested him.

Why did we do this? First, because we felt honor bound to defend those who needed defending, and who were being abandoned as sacrificial lambs to the agenda of oath breaking politicians.  It was just the right thing to do.  As local Oath Keepers CPT team leader Sam stated, “it is about the strong defending the weak.” As we suspected would happen, Governor Nixon dropped the ball – again – failing to protect the people of Ferguson.  As a scathing St. Louis Post-Dispatch editorial put it:

Gov. Jay Nixon, who spent the past two weeks rattling his saber and declaring a state of emergency before there was one, made sure the National Guard was protecting the hell out of the courthouse in Clayton, but left Ferguson to burn.

Our local Oath Keepers could not, in good conscience, just stand by and watch as the city went up in flames.  We at national agreed.  We had to do something.  And Oath Keepers from across the country agreed, and answered the call we put out Monday morning (once we realized what was about to happen for the second time).

Oath Keeper Nick Nesbitt, a U.S. Marine veteran from Nebraska, watches from a snowy rooftop near the Ferguson Police Department, Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, in Ferguson, Mo. He and a group of volunteers watch and protect local businesses from getting vandalized as protesters gather in the neighborhood.   (AP Photo/David Goldman)

Second, we did this because we felt compelled to lead by example to show the American people a constitutional answer to civil unrest and violence.  We wanted to show them that they have the power – already in their own hands – the right, and the duty to secure themselves and their communities.   Over and over scheming politicians and their flunkies in both major parties are presenting the American people with a false choice between lawless chaos, violence, looting, and arson on the one hand, and a hyper-militarized, rights-violating police state on the other.

Perversely, the more government bureaucrats and politicians refuse to actually protect the people and their property, the more they insist that they need even more power, and they insist that the people need to give up even more rights.

The more severe the crisis, the more the chaos will be used to justify a ratcheting up of police state power, and it will not end until all of our children have the boot of a totalitarian police state on the back of their necks (and remember, when there is a boot on your neck, it doesn’t matter whether it’s a left boot or a right boot or whether there is a white foot or a black foot inside it.  Police states oppress all).

As we pointed out in our open letter to Governor Nixon, and also in our letter to the people of Ferguson, there are ways to stop looting and arson that are also respectful of the rights of peaceful protesters, and in obedience to our Constitution.  We don’t have to sacrifice liberty to get security, not if We the People do as the Founders intended and stand together in defense of our own communities.   In our Open Letter to the People of Ferguson, we specifically addressed the veterans of Ferguson:

We call on the veterans in your community, in particular, to step up and lead the way to defend the lives and property of their neighbors, and we call on them to form neighborhood watches and patrols to put a stop to acts of violence.  You have the power to police your own neighborhoods, and keep them safe for all.   Black veterans have a proud and noble example to follow, in the Deacons for Defense and Justice, who were World War II and Korean War veterans who stood up to the violence of the Klan, except this time, you must defend against violence by anyone, whether outsiders or locals, of any race, against anyone, of any race.   If you take care of your own neighborhoods, it removes the sense of emergency that is used to justify a heavy police presence.  And that can also have a lasting effect even after the protests are over.  Be your own “police.”

Veterans of Ferguson, you swore the same oath to defend the Constitution that we did when we served.  Like us, you are also still bound by that oath, and that same duty.

When it came to it, we realized we needed to show them how it’s done, by leading by our own example, and by doing so, we are now showing the entire country how it’s  done.  And we are not alone!  Some brave young black men of Ferguson are also stepping up to show what is possible by serving as armed volunteer guards over a local gas station and store owned by a white family.  We wish them all the best, and we will support their effort in any way we can.  We consider them to truly be brothers in arms.

We salute our brave volunteers who honored their oaths by stepping up to do what was right and decent in Ferguson, and by doing so, showed the American people that the Founding fathers were right when they described a militia made up of the people themselves as being necessary for the security of a free state, because we will be neither secure nor free unless we accept and act on our civic duty to protect our communities.

And that is what this has to do with our oaths to defend the Constitution.   We have a duty to shine the light of liberty and show the way for the rest of the country to follow, back to the Constitution.  Sometimes educational talking and writing is just not enough.  Sometimes protesting is not enough.  Sometimes you need to act to show the way.  And what happened in Ferguson this past week, and what our brave volunteers did (as well as what the young black men did by guarding the Conoco station) show exactly what must be done – community organizing for community security and mutual assistance in emergencies – which is the whole point of our Community Preparedness Team (CPT) Program.  We must do this, to be secure and free, and as a vital stepping stone on the way back to a truly revitalized state militia made up of the people themselves, organized, trained, and equipped.  Such a people cannot be terrorized by private or public criminals.  Such a people are free.

People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf. - George Orwell

We salute these fine men and women (yes, we had two women serve last night  – a Army veteran combat journalist and her assistant) for standing guard all night while the people they protected slept in peace.  Thanks to our volunteers, Thanksgiving was a day of peace, love, and joy for those residents and small business owners rather than a tragedy of fire and terror, as the arsonists wanted.   God bless them! They do their country proud.

Financial Prep / Still buying Gold? You better be...
« on: November 29, 2014, 09:27:49 AM »
I've been thinking about how the current madness will end.

Perhaps more than just about any other research firm in the world, we've long warned that there will be serious consequences for the decisions we've been making lately.

But credit bubbles feel so good as they're being blown up that it's easy to forget what's really happening behind the curtains to create the faux prosperity we've been enjoying for the last few years. So this week, here's a gentle reminder about what's really behind the soaring stock market and our growing economy…

The world's three major central banks (the U.S., Europe, and Japan) have embarked on a massive financial experiment. They have created a gigantic amount of money out of thin air and used it to purchase mind-boggling quantities of government debt.

In the U.S., our central bank now owns a pile of bonds equal to 20% of U.S. gross domestic product (GDP). Japan's central bank's pile of debt is equal to 40% of its GDP. At its peak, Europe's central bank owned bonds worth nearly $4 trillion, or more than 25% of its GDP.

The effect of this buying in the world's markets is difficult to overstate. It is not only the sheer enormity of these purchases… it is also the way the bankers have deliberately structured their purchases to warp the yield curve.

Consider the U.S. 10-year Treasury bond, for example. There is no more important financial benchmark in the world. It is hardly an exaggeration to claim that everything tradable in the world is priced off U.S. sovereign 10-year bonds. This is the globe's benchmark cost of risk-free capital. It is from this price that all other forms of capital are priced.

Currently, there is about $150 billion worth of 10- to 15-year bonds outstanding. Out of the total $150 billion in circulation, the U.S. central bank owns more than half. Likewise, at the "long" end of the curve, the Fed owns nearly half of all Treasury bonds dated 20 years and beyond.

By lowering long-term bond yields, the Fed has artificially reduced the cost of capital by an unbelievable amount. And by making it much cheaper to borrow, the Fed has enabled virtually all borrowers to gain access to the bond markets. That's clear by looking at the record-high issuance and record-low nominal yields in the high-yield (or "junk") bond markets.

In June, with benchmark high-yield rates in the U.S. at a staggering 4.77%, low-quality corporate borrowers added $30 billion in debt to their balance sheets – an all-time single-month record.

And it's also clear by looking at the colossal bubble that has formed in emerging-market debt. A brilliant New York hedge-fund manager pointed out that between 2009 and 2012, nearly $400 billion flowed into emerging-market credit markets – about four times more than average rates over the previous 10 years.

Here are a few simple questions: How can you have capitalism when the cost of capital is essentially zero? How can you have capitalism where there's no bankruptcy? How does capitalism work when there are no risks or downside?

It doesn't, of course. We should see vast misallocations of capital and a tremendous surge in speculation. To see both of those trends in action, just consider the amount of casino construction around the world over the past five years. This is the way credit bubbles work. But it won't go on for long…

Please Enable Images to See this Economists who claim to know how all of this will end are lying. Nobody knows how (or when) it will end. Not even former Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan. I asked him these specific questions when I saw him last month at a conference in New Orleans. What he told me was frightening: He said that the central banks have no idea what they're doing and that they will not be able to control the inflation that will inevitably result from this massive experiment.

Another guy who knows a little bit about investing has big concerns about what's going on with banks. Investing legend Warren Buffett says currency-based investments (such as government bonds) should come with a warning label…

Most of these currency-based investments are thought of as 'safe.' In truth, they are among the most dangerous of assets… their risk is huge.

'In God We Trust' may be imprinted on our currency, but the hand that activates our government's printing press has been all too human. High interest rates, of course, can compensate purchasers for the inflation risk they face with currency-based investments – and indeed, rates in the early 1980s did that job nicely. Current rates, however, do not come close to offsetting the purchasing-power risk that investors assume. Right now, bonds should come with a warning label.

So what should you do? First and foremost, realize that we are in the late innings of an enormous global bubble. The banks have propped it up with a printing press. But it can't go on forever. All around the world, credit structures are in place that can only function as long as the central bank buying continues.

The United Kingdom, for example, owes foreign creditors $10 trillion… more than 400% of its GDP. Spain owes foreign creditors $2.3 trillion – 167% of its GDP. Italy owes foreign creditors $2.6 trillion – more than 100% of its GDP.

Central banks have proven adept at keeping these ridiculous credit structures in place. But there is a cost. And sooner or later, something will break… because capitalism doesn't work when there's no cost of capital.

Here's what I think will break first: the emerging-market credit structure. Few economists know about the "Triffin dilemma" (named after economist Robert Triffin), which boils down to this fact: Global liquidity is determined by the current account of whatever country's currency is used as the world reserve currency.

Today, that's the U.S. dollar. For more than 40 years, the U.S. has recorded large (and growing) current account deficits with the rest of the world. This flooded the world with dollars, typically held in the form of U.S. Treasury bonds. These bonds are the heart of the world's banking systems, making up more than 60% of all reserves.

Now, thanks mostly to the surge in domestic oil production, the U.S. current account deficit has slid from more than 6% of GDP down to around 2%. At the same time, the Fed has been buying back tons of U.S. Treasury bonds. The unintended consequence of these combined actions is a huge decrease in global liquidity.

Sooner or later, this is going to cause a big problem for countries like Turkey and Brazil, who owe foreign creditors dollar-denominated debts.

Turkey owes foreign investors $386 billion – roughly half of its GDP. About $160 billion of these debts come due over the next 12 months. And unlike the U.S. or Japan or Europe, Turkey can't simply print away these obligations.

So will the big central banks begin buying emerging-market bonds, too? Anything is possible… But I don't expect Turkey to do that. These defaults, which will definitely happen, will cause big problems in terms of political stability, currency values, and will inflict damage on banking systems across the world.

Keep an eye on the WisdomTree Emerging Markets Debt Fund (ELD). For the last five years, ELD has mostly kept pace with the U.S. Treasury Bond Fund (TLT).

But during periods of stress – like late 2011 – TLT rallies while ELD declines. Since June, these two critical measures of the world's credit markets have sharply diverged. I believe that's a sign of things to come. I believe we're in the early stages of the "end game" where the giant paper charade of the last five years unravels…

Regardless of whether I'm right or wrong, you should, at the very least, heed this warning. All that glitters is not gold. It always pays to be cautious when other investors get greedy.

And there is an abundance of signs of greed all around the market… from electric-car maker Tesla's share price to the nominal yield on junk bonds. Make sure you don't get swept up in the euphoria. Remember how fragile the world's banking system is… And make sure to buy a little physical gold this year.

Coffee Induced Early Morning Rant / Another culture in our midst!
« on: November 29, 2014, 08:48:26 AM »
This explains quite a bit:

2016
The state of North Dakota has named a new publicly-owned landfill after
President Barack Obama.
In an overwhelming 35-10 vote, the state Senate advanced a bill naming a
650-acre site currently under construction after the nation’s 44th
president. Governor Jack Dalrymple is expected to sign the measure into
law Tuesday.
When completed, the Barack Obama Memorial Landfill will be the largest
waste disposal site in North Dakota, and the 17th largest in the United
States. It will be especially rich in toxic waste from the local
petroleum and medical industries.
“We wanted to do something to honor the president,” says Republican
State Senator Doug Perlman, who was the lead sponsor of the bill. “And
I think a pile of garbage is a fitting tribute to Obama’s presidency.
“We originally planned on naming it after a nearby mountain. But then
someone jokingly suggested we name it after Obama. I never thought an
idea like that would actually pass. But I was pleasantly surprised.”
The president is hardly popular in North Dakota. The most recent poll in
December 2013 found that Obama has a 35% approval rating in the state,
although that figure may have fallen further in the year since. Yet even
considering the political climate, seasoned observers are surprised that
two Democratic lawmakers voted for the bill’s passage.
“I supported Obama because I thought he would end the wars in the
Middle East;” says Allison Mitchell, a progressive Democrat from Grand
Forks. “But he decided to fight new wars abroad instead of fighting
for single-payer health care and jobs here at home.
“I guess people expected me to oppose this landfill thing because
I’m a Democrat. But honestly I don’t really care anymore. Maybe this
small act of protest will wake him up.”
Ordinary citizens in the state also seem to approve of the
government’s choice.
“I can’t think of a better name,” says Joe Blough, a plumber from
Minot. “It’s darkly colored and it's full of s**t. That pretty much
sums up Obama.”

A little emotion from our boy from Michigan!

From Ted Nugent’s Facebook Page:

Here's the lessons from Ferguson America- Don't let your kids growup to be thugs who think they can steal, assault & attack cops as a way of life & badge of black (dis)honor. Don't preach your racist bullcrap "no justice no peace" as blabbered by Obama's racist Czar Al Not So Sharpton & their black klansmen. When a cop tells you to get out of the middle of the street, obey him & don't attack him as brainwashed by the gangsta a__holes you hang with & look up to. It's that simple unless you have no brains, no soul, no sense of decency whatsoever. And dont claim that "black lives matter" when you ignore the millions you abort & slaughter each & every day by other blacks. Those of us with a soul do indeed believe black lives matter, as all lives matter. So quit killin each other you f______ (edited) idiots. Drive safely

Well it continues to happen thanks to everyone's generosity.

This time we served a reduced crowd of about 70 folks a spaghetti dinner. I cooked up one of the trays of spaghetti and covered the top with mozzarella cheese and a top layer of garlic bread. Well those folks were going for mine first and gobbling it down. We also handed out coats although last night was a warmer 45 degrees, but windy.

Brother CJ was the pastor in attendance who is shown in the pics preaching the service just before we ate.

Now that the Grand Jury in Missouri has determined the police officer fired in self defense killing the youthful criminal, Michael Brown, "Vigils" are planned all over this country. I posted a link to the page.

Prudence would suggest these 99%ers who are always peaceful and law abiding might get a little testy. Information is provided for your planning. I wouldn't be anywhere near these places at the appointed times.

Funny, but I couldn't find any locations where we can stand in solidarity with the deputy to support him for all the crap he was just drug through. Hopefully the deputy can and should sue the Brown family and the media for portraying him as a criminal when all he did is rid the earth of another one and did us all a favor!

New Attorney General???

By Dr. Orly Taitz, ESQ

I started investigating Loretta Lynch, Obama’s pick for Attorney General and immediately could see an interesting connection. I read an article stating that when Loretta Lynch started Harvard, she co-founded an African-American sorority. There was only one other girl in this sorority, Sharon Malone. The name rang a bell..

The name of the wife of AG Holder is Sharon Malone, she is the sister of a known civil rights leader Vivien Malone -Jones (one of 2 black students who enrolled in all white University of Alabama).

I checked the age: both were born in 1959 and both went to Harvard at the same time. There were very few African American students in Harvard in 1977-1981, so I am rather certain that Loretta Lynch is an old college friend of Sharon Malone, the wife of the current AG Eric Holder.

Why this connection is important? Holder will be investigated by Congress for totally lawless gun trafficking to Mexican drug cartels in Fast and Furious, IRS scandal, VA scandal, DOJ, NSA, EPA, FEC and other scandals. Most importantly, Holder covered up Obama’s use of a stolen CT Social Security number of Harrison J. Bounel 042-68-4425 and Obama’s use of bogus IDs.

It seems that a long time college friend of Holder’s wife was picked up as a gate keeper to continue all of the cover up by Holder and shield Holder and Obama from criminal prosecution.

Coffee Induced Early Morning Rant / America is commiting sucide
« on: November 20, 2014, 04:21:05 PM »
In 2003 there was an immigration overpopulation conference in Washington, D.C., filled to capacity with many of America's finest minds and leaders. A brilliant college professor by the name of Victor Davis Hanson talked about his latest book, "Mexifornia", explaining how immigration - both legal and illegal was destroying the entire state of California. He said it would march across the country until it destroyed all vestiges of The American Dream.

Moments later, former Colorado Governor Richard D. Lamm stood up and gave a stunning speech on how to destroy America.

The audience sat spellbound as he described eight methods for the destruction of the United States. He said, "If you believe that America is too smug, too self-satisfied, too rich, then let's destroy America. It is not that hard to do. No nation in history has survived the ravages of time. Arnold Toynbee observed that all great civilizations rise and fall and that ‘An autopsy of history would show that all great nations commit suicide.’”

"Here is how they do it," Lamm said.

"First, to destroy America, turn America into a bilingual or multi-lingual and bicultural country. History shows that no nation can survive the tension, conflict, and antagonism of two or more competing languages and cultures. It is a blessing for an individual to be bilingual; however, it is a curse for a society to be bilingual. The historical scholar, Seymour Lipset, put it this way: ‘The histories of bilingual and bicultural societies that do not assimilate are histories of turmoil, tension, and tragedy.’ Canada, Belgium, Malaysia, and Lebanon all face crises of national existence in which minorities press for autonomy, if not independence. Pakistan and Cyprus have divided. Nigeria suppressed an ethnic rebellion. France faces difficulties with Basques, Bretons, Corsicans and Muslims."

        Lamm went on:

"Second, to destroy America, invent 'multiculturalism' and encourage immigrants to maintain their culture. Make it an article of belief that all cultures are equal; that there are no cultural differences. Make it an article of faith that the Black and Hispanic dropout rates are due solely to prejudice and discrimination by the majority. Every other explanation is out of bounds."

"Third, we could make the United States an 'Hispanic Quebec' without much effort. The key is to celebrate diversity rather than unity. As Benjamin Schwarz said in the Atlantic Monthly recently: 'The apparent success of our own multi-ethnic and multicultural experiment might have been achieved not by tolerance, but by hegemony. Without the dominance that once dictated ethnocentricity and what it meant to be an American, we are left with only tolerance and pluralism to hold us together.' Lamm said, "I would encourage all immigrants to keep their own language and culture. I would replace the melting pot metaphor with the salad bowl metaphor. It is important to ensure that we have various cultural subgroups living in America enforcing their differences rather than as Americans, emphasizing their similarities."

"Fourth, I would make our fastest growing demographic group the least educated. I would add a second underclass, unassimilated, undereducated, and antagonistic to our population. I would have this second underclass have a 50% dropout rate from high school."

"My fifth point for destroying America would be to get big foundations and business to give these efforts lots of money. I would invest in ethnic identity, and I would establish the cult of 'Victimology.' I would get all minorities to think that their lack of success was the fault of the majority. I would start a grievance industry blaming all minority failure on the majority placation."

"My sixth plan for America's downfall would include dual citizenship, and promote divided loyalties. I would celebrate diversity over unity. I would stress differences rather than similarities. Diverse people worldwide are mostly engaged in hating each other - that is, when they are not killing each other. A diverse, peaceful, or stable society is against most historical precedent. People undervalue the unity it takes to keep a nation together. Look at the ancient Greeks. The Greeks believed that they belonged to the same race; they possessed a common language and literature; and they worshipped the same gods. All Greece took part in the Olympic games. A common enemy, Persia, threatened their liberty. Yet all these bonds were not strong enough to overcome two factors: local patriotism and geographical conditions that nurtured political divisions. Greece fell. "E. Pluribus Unum" -- From many, one. In that historical reality, if we put the emphasis on the 'pluribus' instead of the 'Unum,' we will "Balkanize" America as surely as Kosovo.

"Next to last, I would place all subjects off limits. Make it taboo to talk about anything against the cult of 'diversity.' I would find a word similar to 'heretic' in the 16th century - that stopped discussion and paralyzed thinking. Words like 'racist' or 'xenophobe' halt discussion and debate. Having made America a bi-lingual/bi-cultural country, having established multi-culturalism, having the large foundations fund the doctrine of 'Victimology,' I would next make it impossible to enforce our immigration laws. I would develop a mantra: That because immigration has been good for America, it must always be good. I would make every individual immigrant symmetric and ignore the cumulative impact of millions of them."

In the last minute of his speech, Governor Lamm wiped his brow. Profound silence followed. Finally he said, "Lastly, I would censor Victor Davis Hanson's book 'Mexifornia.' His book is dangerous. It exposes the plan to destroy America. If you feel America deserves to be destroyed, don't read that book."

There was no applause. A chilling fear quietly rose like an ominous cloud above every attendee at the conference. Every American in that room knew that everything Lamm enumerated was proceeding methodically, quietly, darkly, yet pervasively across the United States today. Discussion is being suppressed. Over 100 languages are ripping the foundation of our educational system and national cohesiveness. Even barbaric cultures that practice female genital mutilation are growing as we celebrate 'diversity.' American jobs are vanishing into the Third World as corporations create a Third World in America. Take note of California and other states. To date, ten million illegal aliens and growing fast. It is reminiscent of George Orwell's book "1984." In that story, three slogans are engraved in the Ministry of Truth building: "War is peace," "Freedom is slavery," and "Ignorance is strength."

Governor Lamm walked back to his seat. It dawned on everyone at the conference that our nation, and the future of this great democracy, is deeply in trouble and worsening fast. If we don't get this immigration monster stopped within three years, it will rage like a California wildfire and destroy everything in its path, especially The American Dream.

Of course the “immigration monster” was not stopped in the mentioned three years. It is now 11+ years since this immigration conference and the forecast is proving true …

I don't even know what to say about tonight.

We showed up in some inhuman conditions. It was very, very cold and windy. So cold that the food that we tried to keep warm turned cold in minutes. It started off around 20F with a good wind blowing and just got colder and colder. It was snowing and will fall into the single digits before sunup.

I worked the crowd which wasn't very large, maybe 50 folks. I brought a box of sweat shirts, jackets, fleece, you name it. I searched for those who didn't have very much. Some people only had a shirt with a fleece or sweatshirt to keep them warm. I can guarantee the clothing was probably not going to even keep them alive throughout the evening. People will probably die out there tonight...

I just can't believe the suffering that is going on here, in this country, on our very streets. One by one I pulled those jackets our and pulled them over peoples heads. Some of them were like zombies, so cold that they were almost unresponsive. So. I'd wrap them with something and move on.

One man fell down and just started crying out loud. He just had no hope. I asked some of them what were they going to do tonight. The shelter was full and couldn't take any more. The ones stuck outside were desperate. Some planned to break into a building to try to stay warm. One man planned to get into two mummy bags and when the police came to harass him, he planned to fight...in the hopes that he would get arrested and hauled off to a warm jail with a shower and food.

Can you fathom that???

I mean it was really cold. At one point near the end, thank goodness, I saw this black man with no hat. So I pulled mine off and pulled it over his head. He didn't even acknowledge me, he just took it. But then the cold bit hard into my head, and I got to experience just how cold it was. I don't know if there is anything meaner on this earth than a cold wind.

I have no pics but, I'll pull some off Brother Jim's web site and post them here. I guess it was a good night, but I am left feeling helpless in view of the magnitude of the suffering I am seeing...

Coffee Induced Early Morning Rant / Islam in the national Cathedral!
« on: November 17, 2014, 09:00:35 AM »

It was supposed to be a shining moment for proponents of the interfaith movement.

The Islamic “jummah,” or Friday call to prayer, would be held on America’s grandest Christian stage – the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.

It was a bold move that had never been tried. Leaders of the Episcopal cathedral said sending prayers up to Allah from a Christian church would show the world that two religions at odds with each other for centuries could “approach the same God” as one body of believers.

The stage was set. The prayer rugs were neatly arranged facing Mecca. The lights shone down on the imam for his opening remarks.

Not so fast.

Christine Weick, a 50-year-old Michigan woman with flowing blonde hair who lives out of her car, rose from the packed National Cathedral, the hall of halls in terms of religious prominence in America, and moved toward the front of the church.

She pointed to the cross hanging overhead.

That cross seemed to be the one thing nobody wanted to look at, she told WND Saturday in an exclusive interview.

The Muslims had set up their prayer rugs in such a way that their backs were turned on the cross, which they consider an alien religious symbol. Jesus was a prophet but was not the son of God and never died on a Roman cross, according to Muslim teaching. Yet, they found themselves staring at a woman who demanded the cross become the center of attention. She then blurted out the message she had traveled all the way from Tennessee to deliver.

“Jesus Christ died on that cross. He is the reason we are to worship only Him. Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior,” she said. “We have built …allowed you your mosques in this country. Why don’t you worship in your mosques and leave our churches alone? We are a country founded on Christian principles.”

She immediately heard voices in the crowd yelling for security.

“Black coat, white scarf, blonde hair!” yelled one. “We need to get her out of here now!” someone else cried out.

“They were yelling for security, and by that point I was already done saying what I came to say,” Weick told WND.

She was promptly escorted out of the sanctuary by two men in suits, who handed her off to a police officer.

Watch video of Christine Weick get removed from National Cathedral after standing up and proclaiming Jesus Christ during Muslim prayer service:

She had instantly become a folk hero of sorts for thousands, if not millions, of Christians who read what happened or watched the video that was posted on the Internet.

Now Weick wants everyone to know that she did not get arrested and she is safely back in her SUV, heading back to Tennessee.

“It was quite an overwhelming day yesterday,” she said.

And while she was lauded for her bravery, she confided she was “literally scared to death” as she waited for the right moment to stand up and proclaim the gospel message.

“They never said a word to me. Two guys came up and got me. I remember one large man in a suit taking me by the arm, very strongly but he did not hurt me,” she said.

“He just put an arm on me and said, ‘We are walking this way.’ Then comes the police officer, and I’m thinking, ‘OK I’m done.’ I’m still in the sanctuary at this point, so I put out my hands for the officer to arrest me, but he just held my hand and walked me to the back of the church.

“He handed me over to a woman officer, who takes me to the front doors of the church. She hands me to another officer, who takes me to another officer in the foyer, who takes me out to the road. Not one of them said a word. I was free to go.”

She said she told the last officer who led her to the road to have a good day, to which he gave no response. She returned to her vehicle and soon afterward drove home.

Except she doesn’t have a home. She said her husband divorced her last year “over a spiritual conflict,” and her family disowned her because she took a stand against same-sex marriage and other “moral issues.”

Weick said she learned of the Muslim prayer service two days before it was scheduled to happen through an article posted on the Drudge Report. The more she thought about it, she felt the Lord was telling her to go to Washington and say something.

“My blood began to boil as I read the comments of how this is to be such a wonderful event and how religious tolerance can, for the first time, be shown in our nation’s capital,” she said.

Still, she had nervous doubts about making the 400-mile trip from Kingsport, Tennessee.

“That article got my attention. And then I Googled the Washington National Cathedral, and I got more information about the service,” she said.

She found out from the cathedral’s website that the event was for “invited guests only.”

“That’s when I knew I had to be creative, and so did God,” she said.

She wasn’t sure what type of creativity would be required or even if she was doing the right thing as she headed out on the road to D.C. In fact, she almost turned around.

A sign of confirmation

“I was driving there on my way from Tennessee, and I’ve got a lot of doubts in my mind: Am I going to make a fool of myself? Am I going to be in jail for the weekend?”

But as she drove down the highway in the right lane, she passed a strange woman.

“There’s this woman stepping out of her vehicle on the side of the road, clapping and giving me two thumbs up, and I’m like, ‘That was the strangest thing,’” she said. “The first thing that went through my mind was, ‘That’s my confirmation right there.’ That’s all I needed, and from that point on I knew this was something I’m going to do; and that was the catapult that moved me to keep going towards Washington.”

She said she told only four people where she was going and what she planned to do. She asked for prayer.

“I said I need you to pray for me, this is what God has put in my bones to do,” she said. “It didn’t hit me until I got in the cathedral and saw all the people and the cameras sitting on my right, and I’m thinking, ‘This is a big deal. I am going to be put in jail!’”

She credits God for getting her into the massive church, which was guarded like Fort Knox. Everyone had to go through a checkpoint to make sure they weren’t armed or posed a threat.

“It was a God thing how I got past all that security in the beginning. They never ID’d me, and I had brought my ID with me just in case, and I thought that would be my downfall, being from Michigan, that they would say, ‘What is she doing here?” Weick said. “According to reports, this was a heavy security event. They checked every bag and every person that walked in there. I bet some security people are in big trouble today.”

She said she slipped through unnoticed, first by following a security guard and then later by engaging in conversation alongside a woman with press credentials.

“I just followed those security officers when they were going from place to place. I just followed them,” she said. “It was almost like they didn’t see me. Like I was invisible.”

Hiding in the bathroom

Weick got through the security line about 10:15 a.m., more than an hour and a half before the prayer service started. She needed to lie low to avoid detection.

She noticed a janitor’s closet was left open near the bathroom and briefly thought about hiding in it. But a fear of being locked in persuaded her against that option.

She slipped into the bathroom instead.

“When I was in the bathroom hiding out, that’s when it hit me: I think I’m invisible, I really wondered, the way it happened, just strange, just totally strange; and someday I’m going to ask God how that all worked out,” she said.

While hiding in the bathroom and waiting for the service to start, she rehearsed over and over what she would say. She prayed constantly, with emphasis on Psalm 27.

A woman was washing her hands at the sink as Weick left the stall where she was hiding. The woman had a press tag on her blouse.

“I asked her if she knew what time the service was to start and she replied, ‘In a few minutes. Do you know where to go?’ I didn’t.”

“Follow me and I will take you to the front,” the woman said.

“I walked with her into the main foyer up to the security line. We walked right past the guards and into the sanctuary! I was invisible.”

Still, the butterflies fluttered in her stomach.

“As she took her seat she was shocked at what she saw. About a hundred people were sitting in chairs around rugs that were placed on the floor. Muslim women, separated from the men, were seated on the rugs. To her right was the news media with their cameras and recording equipment. In front of her were the prayer rugs.

“Then it hit me… I had such an angst come over me. Seeing these Muslims sitting on their rugs ready to bow to a god, causing such an abomination in the house of the Lord,” she said.

The imam said the call to prayer would begin momentarily and spoke some words in Arabic.

Weick felt her heart thumping in her chest.

“I prayed… ‘Lord! Tell me when!’ At that moment I saw a figure of Christ on the cross some distance away. I stood up.

“I was so nervous; you’ll never know how scared I was,” she said. “All I kept thinking was, ‘I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me; that’s my only strength.’ I could not do it through me. But we have an amazing God. He shows his strength in my weakness. That’s my motto.”

She started to speak, firmly and loudly but not out of control. What she said was not the same as what she had rehearsed in the bathroom stall.

“I did not plan on those exact words coming out. I was going to say it differently. I was planning to say, ‘I serve a risen Savior, and Muhammad is dead.’ But I saw the cross and it just popped out of my mouth. I was not going to say it that way. I rehearsed it the other way over and over in the bathroom, because my biggest fear was making a fool of myself; but it didn’t happen that way.”

Even if she had failed and made herself a fool, it could not be more painful than what she has already gone through over the past year, she said.

“I took a very strong stand on something last year. My husband divorced me over it. It broke my heart. I have a lot of heartache back home, a lot of hurt,” she said. “And I felt the Lord telling me, ‘You are going to go from place to place for me.’”

While she lives out of her car, she doesn’t consider herself homeless.

“Don’t be sorry for me. I have a very nice SUV. I go out to eat, I have a bank account,” she told WND. “I am just too Dutch to pay 60 or 70 bucks for a hotel every night when I can spend my nights in my car. And I travel every night from place to place, and that is what I was doing when I saw the story in the Drudge Report.”

Not a hero

WND’s first story on the prayer service drew hundreds of comments from readers. Many lauded the lone, unidentified woman who stood up and rebuked what they saw as a worship service to a false god inside a prominent American church.

Among the comments:

•“They shielded their eyes from the Christian cross, but could not shield their ears from the truthful words of this one brave woman.”
•“We should all pray to have the courage this woman displayed. The world needs it. Our nation desperately needs it. Jesus Christ IS Lord.”
•“I would speculate that the brave woman who proclaimed the Gospel was the only Christian present– and they threw her out,” commented a reader who quoted from John 16:2: “They will put you out of the synagogues. Indeed, the hour is coming when whoever kills you will think he is offering service to God.”
•“Bless this woman! Jesus Christ is the Messiah and Salvation for all that believe. Acts 4:12 automatically comes to mind. Islam and Christianity are opposed to each other, no matter what any Pope, Priest and Cardinal says. You cannot deny the Son and have the Father and Islam denies Jesus is the Son.”

But Weick said she did nothing outside of what God gave her the strength to do, and she doesn’t see herself as any hero of the faith. The weakest of Christians could easily do the same thing, she said.

“That’s why I posted on Facebook this morning. I was like, ‘Come on Christian soldiers we need to fight, and we need to fight using the gospel, the Word of God,’” she said. “There are Muslims everywhere, just walk up to them and say, ‘Jesus Christ is Lord.’ Be brave.

“I’m hearing that many Muslims are getting dreams. Maybe all it takes is one to have a dream after being told Jesus Christ is Lord, I don’t know. That is God’s deal. Let Him work it out. We just need to be bold in the Lord and we don’t need to be burning their mosques down, like they burn our churches. We have the gospel and that is our only weapon we need. Jesus is Lord, and we need to proclaim it, but how many times do we do it?”

But before Weick became bold, she was humbled.

“It was a situation in my life, how God yanked every anchor in my life over the last five years, just everything that would keep a normal woman, a normal mother, at home just got yanked out from under me,” she said. “I have a son and a daughter, and they disowned me. I took a stand against gay marriage and I lost them. That is my heartache. And it hurts me so much. And I wonder what they think now when they see me on the news.”

Weick said she doesn’t know what her next “assignment” will be, but she knows now she can tackle almost anything.

“I told the Lord last night, ‘OK, you can take me now,’ but I don’t know,” she said. “I think He may have other plans for me, per Jeremiah 29: 11

We were blessed enough tonight again to be able to get out and listen to the gospel, and some stories, and some testimony, and feed some people again

I found two veterans, one with a bad back and $15 to his name and another a young ex-soldier who had been shot in the neck in the Stan. I'm not supposed to, but I gave them money, not that it helped, but I am going to try to find the older guy, Ray, a job. The younger man was drinking, he said to help with the pain, but I don't know. He couldn't remember where he was when he was shot, but he remembers who did it...a 11 year old girl, who his buddy killed the instant after she shot this man. He was really messed up. The bullet tore part of his spine apart and traveled up into his head. The scars proved his story out...man, that one was tough...

Ray is the guy with the old Army Ruck on his back. He had been a Tanker and a NCO

Coffee Induced Early Morning Rant / CIEMR Evil in America
« on: November 06, 2014, 07:38:42 AM »
Yesterday while reading some of the comments made by members of this very site I was made to view the effect of the evil one in America. They were talking about needing permits, and permissions, and licenses and so forth to go reed homeless people on a given street corner.

Think about that for a moment

Somehow, doing God's work in that part of America now needs to be licensed. It needs to have some bureaucrat decide if the activity is pleasing, non offensive to the majority, is within so many feet of this building or that, won't impede traffic, interfere with the general safety and I'm betting won't offend muslim people.

Well let me set aside my Christian hoodie for a moment...to Hell with them! Both the bureaucrats and the muslims!

OK, I'm better now again. First of all, to qualify the statement I just made, I am not a good Christian. No Sir, I have a long ways to go to even get to the point of being a functional one, which is one step above a poor one. But in my way of thinking most of those bureaucrats are not saved, right? So they are, in fact going to hell, right? And people caught up in the Muslim cult are not followers of Jesus, correct? So they are also, at least at the present time, going to hell. So technically I am correct is saying to hell with them, although I long to get in front of them and speak a little truth into their lives.

But it would seem that in certain parts of our more evolved culture, we, the people who believe in one God, a God of love who's Son, Jesus set things right between we sinners and a perfect sin free God. It seems that evil has been at work there for quite some time, as it is most everywhere, however in those places, it has become very effective. You can't feed a hungry person without getting a ticket, or facing arrest or jail.

I'm a country boy and to me that seems as wrong as two left feet. You shouldn't ever need anyone's permission to do God's work...ever. SO how did that happen? Well, being somewhat of a student of history, and I read a lot, I know that it happened over many decades. And all the while the sleeping people remained asleep, as they do today. THey live enslaved, having their freedoms removed and only one act of kindness away from being made a criminal.

Cowards! That is the word that comes to mind when thinking of these people who live there. THey must be, either that or they agree with what is going on. Why isn't there a march on the government buildings demanding sanity? Why there are no spines remaining. It takes a spine to stand upright and walk.

But what if you grew up in this place. It was always that way? Then suppose one day you went to a church, which I imagine are few and far between in these culturally developed places, but what if you did. And what if you heard the truth being preached by some approved and lisenced, and socially acceptable preacher? WHat if that word struck a chord in you and started to do it's work. What if it led you to accept the unescapable truth which is one Jesus Christ. SO if all that happened, and you were filled with a spirit that never dies, never sleeps, and is always speaking to God on your behalf. THe bible actually says the spirit "Groans" on our behalf. Romans, Chapter 8, check it out...

So all that happened and you find yourself awakened and adrift in a world of 10W-30 weight evil. What would you do? Move away? Talk about it quietly amongst your friends? What would a coward do? What would Jesus do? Hey I've cowered to oppression myself, so I guess at times I have been like you spinless so called followers of Christ. I'm a weak knee follower myself at times.

So what do you do? Well what you are doing is nearly nothing. You obviously don't go out and actually do anything to help your fellow man, you can't even offer him a bag full of burgers without going to the man and asking permission! If you went to stand outside a mosque (Den of hell BTW) to try to speak about Jesus to one of their lost, you'd be arrested, I'm guessing. SO you harbor your anger and frustration and talk amongst yourselves about how bad things are getting and you do nothing. We'd be in hell for eternity if Jesus did that. If Paul felt that way, we would have no bible to study. If any of the apostles acted like you people, Jesuswould have found you to be useless, probably much the same as he finds you today.

Truth sucks doesn't it...it hurts. I hate hearing it myself. I hate hearing that I profess to be some great good guy feeding the people, or writing, or preaching about something then having to fight and lose to sin at times. I hate it but it's the truth. It is the standard, I cannot escape it, and neither can you. You, whoever you are are as a sergeant at the Army's Air Assault school used to say, speaking about our hearts, our resolve actually: weak-kneed, yellow belly Kool-Aid filled, jelly pumping hearts...

Wear it, you earned it and through your inaction continue to wear it. Live in it, and on be thinking about what you will say to that one and only God on judgment day when he asks you about how you used your time on earth. Account for yourself?

I think about Jesus speaking about one of the churches in antiquity. He spoke of them with disdain, saying they were lukewarm, and that his father would spit them out of his mouth.

Get up. Stop settling. Are you a real man or a fake? Get in front of a mirror all by yourself and look at that man. Are you real or a liar. You a Christian or a wanna-be? You willing to stand up like the 3.5% of our population who fought for and won our independence from Britain, or are you one of the cowardly other 96%? Who are you?

Folks, we have one of our own, Dustoff35 out at the SEMA show right now in Las Vegas.
After talking to him, we decided to post up a SEMA thread to show some of the cool stuff that's out there. HE has a booth there where a company he is heavily invested in employs him every year to stand in the booth and meet and greet, and give little classes on their innovative product. But what he really does is walk around and get Chip Foose to sign his air cleaner from his Cobra kit car and stuff like that.

This year he is in the same building/area as the off-road crowd so he is sending streaming data about what he is finding. So far, he has found a Survival truck.com, and some trailer company who makes survival trailers, and others that make survival knick-noids. Bottom line is if I ever figure out to get his 400 pics off my I-phone, I'll start sticking them up here.

Coffee Induced Early Morning Rant / A letter from a son to his father:
« on: November 04, 2014, 01:06:59 PM »

Hi all,

My son Ken is back in the Middle East and sent along this background piece on the local situation. Since our media fails to provide any serious insights into the real situation, I felt you all might find this analysis of Ken’s enlightening.

Dad,
After thinking about your comment on the Kurds, and what the Press won't tell you, I thought you might like the perspective of someone whose spent a bit of time over here, and what I know from my personal experience of being over here, which is a perspective the general American public is clueless about because of our bought and paid for media.

So let me start by defining the players:

Arab Sunni Islam:  They believe there was only one prophet, Mohammad, and that anyone that believes otherwise is an infidel. They hate  Israel , and don't acknowledge their existence. They were allies of the Nazi's in WWII.

Arab Shia (Shi'ite) Islam: They believe that they were follow-on prophets after Mohammad. These "Prophets" are known as "Imams" and their word is god's law, anyone who doesn't believe as they do is an Infidel. They hate Israel , and don't acknowledge their existence. They were allies of the Nazi's in WWII as well.

That's the primary difference between these two groups, but both are radical in their view of Islam, (Wahhabism - the ultra conservative or othodox belief in islamic law, created by the Saudi royal family - think Amish vs Modern Christianity) and feel that anyone that doesn't believe like they do, is ok to kill as defined by their version of the Quran.

They all believe in Sharia law as greater than any government, and both sects believe in a Caliphate, or Islamic State forming again one day like the  Ottoman Empire ,which was the last one prior to the breakup after WW1. That's why you see Christians being culled and killed in places like Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Turkey, Jordan, Libya, Syria, etc. as both sides believe Christianity to be an abomination, and are intolerant of anything but their own religion; yes even in the countries we consider allies, like Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, U.A.E, etc. (Pretty much all the oil producing countries, and places with royal families)

Groups supported by Arab Sunni's: ISIS (yes, the terrorists we are fighting, as all Sunni's traditionally support the ethnic cleansing of religions other than Sunni Islam. The Royal family is just worried now that they will gain too much power and threaten them.)
Saudi Arabia
Jordan
Turkey
Yemen
U.A.E
Kuwait
Bahrain
Al-Queda

Groups supported by Arab Shia (Shi'ite): (they have been the controlling minority and Ruling class in  Iraq since the 40's)
Russia
Pakistan
Hamas
PLO
Hezbollah
Iran
Syria
Taliban

80+% of the Arab Muslim population, whether Sunni or Shia, support what is going on with  ISIS - as they are supporting ethnic cleansing of Christians and other beliefs which are non-Muslim. There are no civilian casualties when bombing ISIS, as if they aren't pointing a gun, they are in direct support of the  ISIS fighters, so don't believe a word the media says about civilian casualties. The military knows this, but the media doesn't have a clue.

Now for the Kurds.

The Kurds are a dispersed ethnic group, across the entire Middle East, and predominantly live in  Kurdistan ,  Turkey , northern  Syria , and northern  Iraq , where there has traditionally been peace. Kurds comprise anywhere from 18% to 25% of the population in Turkey, 15-20% in Iraq, 9% in Syria, 7% in Iran and 1.3% in Armenia. In all of these countries except  Iran , Kurds form the second largest ethnic group. Roughly 55% of the world's Kurds live in  Turkey , about 18% each in  Iran and  Iraq , and a bit over 5% in Syria . They are purportedly the descendants of King Solomon, and are Persian in ancestry. They encompass a variety of religions, they are Islam, Yarsan (Muslim, but non-confrontational), Yazidis (Christian theology),  Zoroastrianism (Ahura Mazda - Persian religion), Judaism (yes, there are Kurdish Jews), and Christianity.

While I was in Iraq, it was in Irbil where private western financial capital was flowing, (not U.S. government bribes, like in the south) in building three to five star resorts like Marriot, Best Western, Howard Johnson, and was the only area considered "safe" enough in the entire country to walk the streets without body armour outside the wire. Investment capital was flowing there, not in Bagdad as one might think, as the Kurds have a very European mindset, and are the only place in  Iraq , and in the  Middle East as a whole, where their public schools allowed girls to be educated. They are thought as chattel everywhere else, including places like  Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Kuwait , etc., who are supposed to be our allies.

The Kurds have the Peshmerga, which has always been feared by both Sunni's AND Shia, because the Kurds have been used as cannon fodder for generations when under Arab control, and now that they have autonomy in northern  Iraq , they despise most Arabs, which has the Royal families worried. What scares them even more, are the female Peshmerga, which are so feared by  ISIS , they are avoiding the Peshmerga wherever they can, which is why you don't see much in the way of conflict against the Kurds in the north.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/iraq/11110724/Isil-fanatics-fear-being-killed-by-a-woman-will-deprive-them-of-virgins-in-paradise.html

All we have to do in order to get rid of ISIS, which all rumours indicate is being funded by both the Saudi's, and the Yemeni's, is to arm the Kurds, and tell them Iraq is theirs for the taking. They have a 375,000 man/woman standing army in the Peshmerga, and only need the weapons to do the job. They don't want our help on the ground, but welcome our air support. It's the smart move to not get re-engaged in another Saudi Prince dictated war.

Hope that helps you to understand a bit about this side of the world, and why picking any allies against ISIS, puts us in bed with other terrorists, like Hamas, and Hezbollah, or puts us in cooperation with Iran , unless we do the right thing, and pick helping just the Kurds. If Israel was very smart, they would come to the aid of the Kurds, join forces, and make us all look like idiots, as the Kurds and the Israelis together could clean out the entire  Middle East with ease, and both have common ancestry.

Anyway, have a great day dad.
Love Ken

« on: November 01, 2014, 10:53:52 AM »

20 years from now, I will be in Heaven --bye !!This was written by a woman born in Egypt as a Muslim.. Make sure you read the paragraph  (in red) towards the end.

Joys of Muslim Women
By Nonie Darwish

In the Muslim faith a Muslim man can marry a child as young as 1 year old and have sexual intimacy with this child. Consummating the marriage by 9.

The dowry is given to the family in exchange for the woman (who becomes his slave) and for the purchase of the private parts of the woman, to use her as a toy.

Even though a woman is abused she can not obtain a divorce.

To prove rape, the woman must have (4) male witnesses.

Often after a woman has been raped, she is returned to her family and the family must return the dowry. The family has the right to execute her (an honor killing) to restore the honor of the family. Husbands can beat their wives 'at will' and he does not have to say why he has beaten her.

The husband is permitted to have (4 wives) and a temporary wife for an hour (prostitute) at his discretion.

The Shariah Muslim law controls the private as well as the public life of the woman.

In the Western World ( Canada , Australia , United States and Britain ) Muslim men are starting to demand Shariah Law so the wife can not obtain a divorce and he can have full and complete control of her. It is amazing and alarming how many of our sisters and daughters attending American, Canadian, Universities and British Universities are now marrying Muslim men and submitting themselves and their children unsuspectingly to the Shariah law.

By passing this on, enlightened Canadian, Australians, American and British women may avoid becoming a slave under Shariah Law.

Ripping the West in Two.

Author and lecturer Nonie Darwish says the goal of radical Islamists is to impose Shariah law on the world, ripping Western law and liberty in two.

She recently authored the book, Cruel and Usual Punishment: The Terrifying Global Implications of Islamic Law. Darwish was born in Cairo and spent her childhood in Egypt and Gaza before immigrating to America in 1978, when she was eight years old. Her father died while leading covert attacks on Israel . He was a high-ranking Egyptian military officer stationed with his family in Gaza .....

When he died, he was considered a "shahid," a martyr for jihad. His posthumous status earned Nonie and her family an elevated position in Muslim society..

But Darwish developed a skeptical eye at an early age. She questioned her own Muslim culture and upbringing.. She converted to Christianity after hearing a Christian preacher on television.

In her latest book, Darwish warns about creeping shariah law - what it is, what it means, and how it is manifested in Islamic countries.

For the West, she says radical Islamists are working to impose sharia on the world. If that happens, Western civilization will be destroyed. Westerners generally assume all religions encourage a respect for the dignity of each individual.. Islamic law (Sharia) teaches that non-Muslims should be subjugated or killed in this world.

Peace and prosperity for one's children is not as important as assuring that Islamic law rules everywhere in the Middle East and eventually in the world.

While Westerners tend to think that all religions encourage some form of the golden rule, Shariah teaches two systems of ethics - one for Muslims and another for non-Muslims. Building on tribal practices of the seventh century, Shariah encourages the side of humanity that wants to take from and subjugate others.

While Westerners tend to think in terms of religious people developing a personal understanding of and relationship with God, Shariah advocates executing people who ask difficult questions that could be interpreted as criticism.

It's hard to imagine, that in this day and age, Islamic scholars agree that those who criticize Islam or choose to stop being Muslim should be executed. Sadly, while talk of an Islamic reformation is common and even assumed by many in the West, such murmurings in the Middle East are silenced through intimidation.

While Westerners are accustomed to an increase in religious tolerance over time, Darwish explains how petro dollars are being used to grow an extremely intolerant form of political Islam in her native Egypt and elsewhere.

(In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters inCanada, Australia , the U.S. And Britain To elect the heads of Government by themselves! Rest assured they will do so... You can look at how they have taken over several towns in the USA .. Dearborn Mich. Is one and there are others....) ( Britain has several cities now totally controlled by Muslims)

I think everyone in Canada , Australia , the U.S. And Great Britain Should be required to read this, but with the ACLU, there is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on!

It is too bad that so many are disillusioned with life and Christianity to accept Muslims as peaceful.. Some may be but they have an army that is willing to shed blood in the name of Islam.. The peaceful support the warriors with their finances and own kind of patriotism to their religion. While Canada, Australia, the U.S.A. and Britain are getting rid of Christianity from all public sites and erasing God from the lives of children the Muslims are planning a great jihad on North America,Australia and Britain .

Coffee Induced Early Morning Rant / Quotes...Pilot stuff

The brave may not live forever - but the cautious do not live at all!
~ Sir Richard Branson

One day, long, long ago, there was this pilot who,
surprisingly, was not full of stuff, (Real word changed)
But it was a long time ago.............
And just for one day.
~Anonymous

Flying is like sex - I've never had all I wanted but occasionally I've had all I could stand.
~Stephen Coonts, "The Cannibal Queen" 1988

It's not you're mistake that matters but it's how you recover that counts.
~Bill Cherwin, Retired flight lead of the Lima Lima Flight Team

Were' not happy till you're not happy.
~Perceived motto of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)

Once upon a time, a pilot asked a beautiful princess, “Will you marry me”?
The princess said, “No”!
And the pilot lived happily ever after and flew fighters all over the world and
drove hot cars and chased skinny, long-legged, flight attendants
and hunted and fished and went to movies and dated women half his age
and drank Weihenstephaner German beer and Captain Morgan and never heard
complaining and never paid child support or alimony and kept his house and guns and
ate cold leftovers, potato chips and beans and blew enormous farts and never
got cheated on while he was at work and all his friends and family thought he
was friggin’ cool.
And he had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up.
The End

What kind of man would live where there is no daring?
I don't believe in taking foolish chances,
but nothing can be accomplished without taking any chance at all.
~Charles A. Lindbergh, American aviator

Not all birds can fly. What separates the flyers from the walkers is the ability to take off.
~Carl Sagan (1934-1996) Astronomer

Pilots vs. Drones
Drones will not be late to briefings, start fights at happy hour,
destroy clubs, attempt to seduce others' dates, spill flaming hookers,
purchase huge watches, insult other services, sing O'Leary's Balls,
dance on tables, yell  "Show us your t__s!" or do all of the other
things that we know win wars!
~Attributed to a USAF fighter pilot

A mile of highway will take you a mile, a mile of runway will take you anywhere.
~Steve, Blogger from Ohio

Pilots:
They are cold, steely-eyed, weapons systems managers who kill bad people
and break things. However, they can also be very charming and personable.
The average pilot, despite sometimes having a swaggering exterior, is very
much capable of such feelings as love, affection, intimacy and caring.
These feelings generally just don't involve anyone else.
~Anonymous

Beware, dear son of my heart, lest in thy new-found power thou seekest even the gates

~Daedalus to Icarus. After teaching his son to use his new wings of wax and feathers.

A superior pilot uses his superior judgment to avoid situations
which require the use of his superior skills.

The J3 Cub is the safest airplane in the world; it can just barely kill you.
~Max Stanley, Northrop test pilot

When a prang seems inevitable, endeavor to strike the softest,
cheapest object in the vicinity, as slowly and gently as possible.
~advice given to RAF pilots during WWII

There's a lot of Hollywood bullcrap about flying. I mean, look at the
movies about test pilots or fighter pilots who face imminent death.
The controls are jammed or something really important has fallen
off the plane, and these guys are talking like magpies; their lives are
flashing past their eyes, and they're flailing around in their seat. It
just doesn't happen. You don't have time to talk. You're too damn
busy trying to get out of the problem you're in to talk or ricochet
around the flight deck. Or think about what happened the night of
your senior prom.
~Brigadier General Robin Olds, USAF

When asked by someone how much money flying takes:
Why, all of it!
~ Gordon Baxter

And let's get one thing straight. There's a big difference
between a pilot and an aviator. One is a technician;
the other is an artist in love with flight.
~E. B. Jeppesen

Never fly in the aircraft with someone braver than you.
~Richard Herman

An airplane might disappoint any pilot but it'll never surprise a good one.
~Len Morgan

You'll be bothered from time to time by storms, fog, snow. When you are, think of those who went through it before you, and say to yourself, "what they could do, I can do.

The quality of the box matters little. Success depends upon the man who sits in it.

"Are you ever afraid when you fly?"
That's a good question. Yeah. I'm always a little afraid when I fly. That's what makes me so damn good. I've seen pilots
who weren't afraid of anything, who would forget about checking their instruments, who flew by instinct as though they
were immortal. I've pissed on the graves of those poor bastards too. The pilot who isn't a little bit afraid always screws
up and when you screw up bad in a jet, you get a corporal playing taps at the expense of the government.
~Lieutenant Colonel Bull Meecham, USMC

When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been,

There is an art, or rather a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss.

Both optimists and pessimists contribute to our society. The optimist invents the airplane and the pessimist the parachute.

The desire to fly is an idea handed down to us by our ancestors who, in their grueling travels across trackless lands in
prehistoric times, looked enviously on the birds soaring freely through space, above all obstacles, on the infinite highway of the air.

Happened again last night

This time it was spaghetti night with quite a bit of the squiggly stuff showing up. What we made started with 6 pounds of beef, 13 jars of sauce, and I think 8-9 packs of spaghetti. It was enough to fill up three of those big foil serving trays. Each one weighed maybe 15 plus pounds.
Another couple showed up with two more, so a total of five trays of just spaghetti there along with veggies, bread, fruit, drinks and condiments, and they ran out of food!
I didn't get to go, my knee is giving me fits, but my wife went along with a bunch of other folks. Pastor Jim actually had a baptismal pool set up on the back of his truck trailer, and he was doing God's work right there on the street corner.
All in all it was a good night with estimates ranging around 250+ folks showing up to eat and worship.
Sorry but she didn't get any pics...

Duane picked up a couple welding tables for me last month when they were on sale for $59.99 ea. Decent enough buy, I will use them as a base to assemble the A518 transmission for Square D.

They start with this modest collection of Chinese made parts. Sort of made me feel a little like eating some rice, but I pushed ahead!

Comment on why these school shootings occur

Weakness and relative safety breeds this sort of thing. The more social systems develop the less individuals need to contribute. The longer they life having to contribute less and still meet their needs, the more lackadaisical and lazy attitudes are reinforced. After a time, being lazy is simply the way it always was and you have the basis for a system of users and producers.

If natural selection were allowed to prevail, they would have died off long ago and things would be what those of us who produce call normal. But as the lazy people increase in numbers they will work to fortify their position as normal and justified. Somehow evolved social systems come to embrace that notion and social welfare is born.
The cycle more or less repeats, with welfare now being the norm, replacing the laziness that gave birth to it in the first place. Move along a few generations and all the history is forgotten and you have a system like we have now.

Just like the muslims move into a culture, then grow in numbers, then become influential, then start to take bits of control, then consolidate control, so have the welfare and lazy class and those who believe in all that.

Then the resources start to dry up or the lazy people have attained too much power, or some natural disaster or man made one such as a war comes along, and you experience shortages. Shortages in food and what not. We the producers scramble to fill in the gaps but because resources aren't there or we are being hindered by too much regulation, we can't meet demands, and that is when the crazy element of the "Entitled" people really comes out.

While all this was happening, the non producers have spent an inordinate amount of time doing little to nothing that actually helps society and have given themselves over to thinking and philosophy. This is a time when the only people who will listen to them are themselves, and with some of them having reached positions of credibility, those few endorsements give credence to the foolish notions these lazy people have come up with. They are pretty good at giving foolishness a veil of credibility. A shining example of that would be our President winning the Nobel peace prize for doing little to nothing of value.

These foolish notions usually make no sense and include gun control and closing down tens of thousands of farm land to save some endangered newt that lives in the water source. An alien world examining us from afar would note that our society had turned mad for making such decisions, however at this stage in cultural and social development these policies born of laziness and of madness are now ripened into legitimate policy.

All of that happened while we were at work or off fighting a war somewhere or raising out children.
We saw it from time to time, but did little to nothing about it. And now we have kids with feather earrings and pants pulled half way down their butts telling us what is right and wrong. I think that makes it partly our fault.

Here's the bad part, it isn't going to change easily. Personally, I'm just waiting for the meltdown which will adjust their numbers in a very big way and introduce some harsh reality to the lazy American person who seems now to reign supreme. While we wait patiently, we should resist every measure of stupidity that comes our way. What are you folks in Washington doing to stop the stupidity of this gun control measure? Are you marching on your capital. Are you shutting down everything to be heard. Are you standing on street corners talking to those who will listen? Are you open carrying where you are allowed to? Are you uniting with your police to let them know you are their real friends? Are you doing anything?

School shootings are awful. Some children dying in violence is abhorrent. But so is a road side bomb that severed the legs of a young man or girl. So is having to shoot a child who is carrying a bomb to dispatch your buddy. There is a lot of bad stuff around. Want to reduce death in America? Seriously? Then stop serving liquor! Stop producing tobacco!
Gun control is about people control, period. It has nothing to do with public safety. Chicago proves that every day and especially on weekends when scores of people are shot by criminals with guns. It is absolute madness to take guns away from normal people in the hopes of making things safer. Normal people with guns are what is making things safer.
So the argument needs to be: We need more guns on the streets and in the hands of responsible citizens. If a cafeteria worker in that school was armed, there is a possibility that no children would have died
Seriously in places that have given in to the liberal madness like Washington and California, You who live there need to give it your all to fix those places or leave them!

Coffee Induced Early Morning Rant / another short essay on Islam
« on: October 24, 2014, 01:39:23 PM »
Islam is not a religion.  Islam is a fascist ideology masquerading as a religion.

The founders of Islam, supposedly the prophet Mohammad, built this sham religion on a foundation of absolute intolerance of any belief other than Islam and they have been at war with infidels (non-believers) since the earliest history of Islam and will continue their effort to destroy all infidels forever.  The Islamic holy book, the Quran, demands the killing of infidels in 109 of its verses.  http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/quran/023-violence.htm

We are told the threat of Islam comes from a small minority of radicals.  If that were true, why do the majority of supposed non-radical Muslims fail to resist or even condemn the brutality and savagery so prevalent throughout this “Religion of Peace?”  If the intimidation of the flock by the extremists is so intense that those who abhor violence are muzzled by fear of their fellow believers, then the cancer must be excised completely.  More likely, Islamists all believe the same evils, but the extremists are the wolves and the remaining are simply the sheep that fear public condemnation almost as much as reprisal from the extremists. In short, these people believe that you should die if you do not believe as they do.  This belief will not change….ever….as long as there are those who believe in Islam, Allah and the Quran’s words.

Make no mistake; we are at war with Islam!

Unfortunately our President does not understand that in order to destroy/”dismantle” ISIS/ISIL, he must destroy Islam. The destruction of Islam requires a completely different strategy than the miniscule bombing operation Obama has belatedly begun.  Obama’s strategy ensures continuing Islamic terror because it leaves the root cause of the problem whole.

Since Obama and his sycophants believe ISIS/ISIL to be a threat to the USA, it is incumbent upon him to include in any strategy the securing of our borders, the cessation of Muslim immigrants to the USA and control of the Muslims already in the USA.

I was coming up a bit short in the commo department, especially compared to guys like RedNeck here of this forum.

I found this Voyager on Amazon for $64 and thought it was a pretty good deal for what it offers
It is powered by either of: A NiCad battery, 3 AA batteries, a solar panel, or a hand crank.

It receives AM/FM, SW/LW, and NOAA emergency weather channels. I thought for that many features and the paltry price, I'd give it a try.

Today, I cave it a few turns, opened the solar cell, then listened to K-Love hammer away my favorite Christian Rock while I worked on fixing damage the red dog created and on SquareD

Anyone ready to get back into building this cool truck?
Been a long sabbatical with the knee surgery and L O N G recovery time, which is still not complete BTW!

OK the medium term objective is to get the engine reinstalled.
To do that I am cleaning up all areas of the vehicle that relate in preparation. My hope is to rebuild the transmission next week, but first get a bunch of stuff that is laying around, cluttering up my shop, back on the truck.

So that's what I have been doing, that and messing with the door panels which I just had to pull to make something custom.

Might as well start there.

OK, the plan was to pull the plastic interior door panels and replace with a flat fiberglass/wood panel that serves as a mount for a carbine, magazines, flashlight and other immediate need emergency stuff

First I pulled the door panel

Well it happened again.
The crowd was not as big but the church service on the street was bigger!
The guy who we were concerned about last time showed up this time across the street, but instead of being bitter and mean, he was pleasant. He thanked us and said he had been eating regularly and wasn't hungry!

The weather was good, but the temps are starting to turn downward. It is going to be tough in the months to come, but for now, at least all is well.
Your donations provided these people with vegetables on this night, although I doctored them up with a bunch of bacon!

ALERT: U.S. Army researchers at USAMRIID confirm Ebola variant was airborne in 1990

ALERT: U.S. Army researchers at USAMRIID confirm Ebola variant was airborne in 1990

(NaturalNews) U.S. Army virologists working at USAMRIID (U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases) [1] confirmed in 1990 that a strain of Ebola was airborne and could spread through air ducts, resembling the contagiousness of the flu.

Details of the airborne transmission and the "nuking" of all the primates in an entire research center are detailed beginning on page 273 of The Hot Zone by Richard Preston, a non-fiction documentary book based on dozens of detailed interviews with top military virologists. This non-fiction book was called "A riveting nonfiction thriller" by the New York Times.

The book is described by Internet Scientific Publications [2] as follows:

In 1989, Reston, VA -- one of the most famous U.S. planned communities located about 10 miles from Washington DC -- stood at the epicenter of a potential biological disaster. This well-known story was narrated by Richard Preston in a bone chilling account related to the recognition and containment of a devastating tropical filovirus at a monkey facility -- the Reston Primate Quarantine Unit.

The outbreak of Ebola Reston, and its documenting in The Hot Zone is also described in a USA Today article entitled "25 years ago, a different Ebola outbreak - in USA." [3]

In a wild attempt at revisionist history, the Obama administration is today telling us that Ebola can't be airborne; that it can't spread via contaminated surfaces; and that we are all in no real danger from it. The testimony of these U.S. Army virologists from 1990 tells a very different story of what happened with a strain of Ebola that was named "Reston" because it got out of control in Reston, Virginia and was barely contained. The threat from any strain of Ebola, we are told, concerns how rapidly it can mutate and adapt to new hosts while becoming airborne.

To eliminate any possibility of being accused of perpetrating a hoax or misquoting the scientists, I have included un-altered photographs of the relevant pages from the printed book below. The book is also available for sale on Amazon.com and you can purchase it and read it for yourself.

What you are about to read is real. Bolding emphasis added.

Cited from "The Hot Zone" by Richard Preston, beginning on page 272 of the soft cover print edition...

"Ebola... jumped quickly from room to room... a lot like influenza"
What happened in that building was a kind of experiment. Now they would see what Ebola could do naturally in a population of monkeys living in a confined space, in a kind of city, as it were.

The Ebola Reston virus jumped quickly from room to room, and as it blossomed in the monkeys, it seemed to mutate spontaneously into something that looked quite a lot like influenza. But it was an Ebola flu.

The monkeys died with great quantities of clear mucus and green mucus running from their noses, mixed with blood that would not clot. Their lungs were destroyed, rotten and swimming with Ebola virus. They had pneumonia. When a single animal with a nosebleed showed up in a room, generally 80 percent of the animals died in that room shortly afterward. The virus was extraordinarily contagious in monkeys.

"...could look like the flu... a different strain could appear in a month's time... drifted through the air-handling ducts"
The Institute scientists suspected that they were seeing a mutant strain of Ebola, something new and a little different from what they had seen just a month before, in December, when the Army had nuked the monkey house. It was frightening -- it was as if Ebola could change its character fast -- and could look like the flu. As if a different strain could appear in a month's time.

The clinical symptoms of the disease served as a reminder of the fact that Ebola is related to certain kinds of flu-like illnesses seen in human children. It seems that the virus could adapt quickly to new hosts, and that it could change its character spontaneously and rapidly as it entered a new population.

Ebola apparently drifted through the building's air-handling ducts. By January 24, it had entered Room B, and monkeys in that room started going into shock and dying with runny noses, red eyes, and masklike expressions on their faces. In the following weeks, the infection entered rooms I, F, E, and D, and the animals in these rooms virtually all died.

"USAMRIID concluded that Ebola can spread through the air"
John Coleus certainly caught the virus when he cut himself with a bloody scalpel, no question about that. What is more worrisome is that the others did NOT cut themselves, yet the virus still entered their bloodstreams. It got there somehow. Most likely it entered their blood through contact with the lungs. It infected them through the air.

When it became apparently to the Army researchers that three of the four men who became infected had not cut themselves, just about everyone at USAMRIID concluded that Ebola can spread through the air.

Don't believe the Ebola lies of the Obama administration. A strain of Ebola was already airborne 14 years ago. It could rapidly become airborne again. Prepare now with the free, downloadable MP3 audio files at www.BioDefense.com
