Memorial Day
« on: May 30, 2016, 08:48:55 AM »
I give thanks to my Lord that he has, to this point preserved our nation through the sacrifice of many fine and brave men and women.

May we, and this shallow generation at hand, remember that freedom isn't Facebook. And freedom isn't free.

I am afraid that we will be faced with a wolf at the door in the future. May we also be prepared to gird ourselves as so many before us.

I pray the Lord to raise up another generation of soldiers to stand ready and continue to preserve our nation.

Amen.

Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

Thanks, TRN. May we never forget that the freedoms we enjoy were paid for in blood.
