$26k seems a little bit steep as much as I would love an old 3/4 ton, but I would go 72+ just to avoid the HO72 diff used in the earlier ones. no parts available, and $$$$$ if there's a Norm out there with a barn full of parts you can convince to sell to you.

The link takes me to a page selling some bracelets and other nonsense.

yes I agree 26K is way too much for that, unless that is exactly waht you have been looking for.

Those trucks are bringing the money especially if they have rare options...

Oooof. Just gave away one of those last year, although a bit rougher. '72, 4wd, AC. Just got tired of looking at it.

If i am remembering correctly from my 78 camper special....all the camper special option meant was that it was a long bed with a bgg it heavier springs?

I think you're right Nate. The '73 I got from my grandparents looked like a stinkbug. It also had 10" wide rear wheels and camper hold downs that went through the bedsides, but not sure if the dealer did that or the original owner. Also had a big block.

Gave that one to my friends son, which was like an adopted brother. Very nice original truck. Smh again

Kind of had a camper special myself

Big spring pack, big brakes and a big block, 76'

Way to pricey, options or not. Its not a 442 or something.
