Urr
Good advice. I was using a long ratchet on the back ones without heat (seemed logical) and the ears slipped.Freaking stupid design. I mean they designed the cab to be removed. Why the heck not have welded nuts, or at least not put locktite on them? I've only lifted 2 cabs so far, luckily.
No wonder those fords have problems... what is with that crazy exhaust/up pipe routing!?Guessing that’s the egr cooler next to the driver side manifold?
I have "looked" at a few tranny's to for mine. I guess the gertrac and the 4500 have their issues. I like the better shifting of the ZF, but not sure about the torque and the 4x4 adapting.
I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb. I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.
Machined lifter plate? Is it supposed to help some with the noise or leaks?
Waste of time on a pavement truck?Dave mentioned weight. I'll mention more work for no benefit for what you're building the truck for?

Kinda had to stop and stare at the picture though like it was going to spill some dirt in the grease, lol.
